Sorry, I couldn't resist. LOL :icon_twisted:

Yeah...very funny

I posted this pic to cheer me up, because I'm going through deep misery because of my cat right now. Of course you couldn't know that, and it was my fault alone, that I haven't removed that Sheldon scribble in the background, which can be used to twist the meaning of the picture (Penny giving her husband a bright smile) right around into some kind of Shenny crap. Shouldn't have posted this pic. My bad!

No more pictures of this nature from me in this thread...deleted my post

Oh no, I’m so sorry too! I was just kidding. What should we do now with this worthless cut?

Maybe that's a good idea!?  :shy:

Thanks. I know you were just kidding. :shy: And any other day I would have joined you, that's for sure. As I said before, it was my fault. I liked this bright smile Penny gave her husband and didn't notice this Sheldon writing in the background. I could slap myself for not removing it.

Yesterday my 19-year-old cat, who was a family member and a companion half of my life, was put to sleep, and I try to distract myself with all sort of things (including posting in this forum). My girlfriend tries her best to comfort me, but she is as devastated as I am. I thought posting some funny or sweet Lenny stuff here could distract me for a while. But seeing that the funny or sweet stuff I post can be used to turn my original intention upside down (again my fault), I should try other things to distract myself. Maybe I try it again later today.

@luminous , I am sorry as well to hear of your loss.  For many of us our pets are not only family members, but life companions.  They are completely accepting of us and love us unconditionally.  When they have to leave us it can be more than devastating.

Just as a note, despite the "graffiti" in the background, the picture you posted was extremely sweet.  Knowing that she was looking at her husband, while wearing a smashing dress that highlighted his gift of the heart pendant gave me a tremendous lift.  I completely got your original intention and I thank you for that.

Take care and remember that your fellow "Lenny's" are thinking of you!

My Fiona, 18 yr old little black sweetie,  passed last year. I planted a little flowering shrub in my garden and scattered her ashes around it. I see it and think of her every day. :giverose:Sorry you're hurting.

Hey. 300 pages! Hope that's our lucky number for Season 10.

Same here. If we reach page 300 in the season 10 thread too? And if so, what will be written on it?

Here's a still picture from the opening scene from 9x24. I love it, when Leonard comes through the door and Penny is waiting for him in bed. That's so husband and wife. :icon_biggrin:

That is so domestic and adorable.  You know why she is sitting up in bed still, instead of under the covers, she is waiting for him to get in bed so she can move over to snuggle up to him.  Leonard of course will take her into his arms and go to sleep with a big smile on his face, while Penny, now warm and cozy against him, will sleep very peacefully secure in the arms of her husband and the man she knows would never let anything happen to her.

Aww...thanks. That's beautiful. :shy:

It's really devastating to lose a beloved member of the family and decades-long companion. As I see many here already made the same experience. Time will heal the wounds. And you guys here are part of that healing process with your kind and warm words. Thank you. :shy:

I hope you don't mind, when I post a picture from Simba from a few weeks ago. He was already seriously ill, but he absolutely wanted to select the Blu-ray we should watch in the evening. Of course it was "The Big Bang Theory". :icon_biggrin:

Lenny > Ross and Rachel, Ted and Robin, Marshall and Lily, Ricky and Lucy. Yes I Went their, indeed. To me I have been watching sitcoms since I grew up in the nineties. Where Seinfeld and Friends were the sitcoms when I was like 8 or 9 lol. I loved all those sitcom couples. But Lenny to me is my all time fav sitcom couple with Ricky and Lucy. I watched that show, even though its from the 50's, we get a show called Jones over here, which plays all the oldies. But I just love how this show ahs broken down the trope. The main couple is married, domesticated, and so in love. I just think it is such a brethe of fresh air. AFter so many sitcoms ala Friends, HIMYM e.t.c. Have dragged out the process. It's nice to jsut watch the Central couple just be happy till the end.

Leonard and Penny = Ricky and Lucy

Howard and Bernie = Fred and Ethal

I smell a very successful (and Sheldon free) spinoff waiting to happen

Seriously sitcoms from back then kinda idealized marriage/life while modern ones go for a sort of warped or maybe exaggerated reality. I kinda miss the old style myself

For starters Chuck already nixed any spin offs of his shows.  And I hate that they put so much focus on Sheldon now but fans seem to love him and I doubt a spin off would survive without Sheldon in it somewhere.

All of this is speculation. This well be deleted as it is OT. But The show survived with all the actors and characters, not just Sheldon.

My opinion

I don't like the glorification of assholes  currently popular in media. I hated Roseann she wasn't funny she was a bitch. HIMYM, TAAHM, TBBT and others push a character that would be totally unlikable in real life and see how much of an ass they can make him. And the worst part to me is the ass always wins, never gets his comeuppance and is excused for his behavior as lol it's just the way he is..

It's why I no longer have tv in my house but I was already addicted to Lenny so I still watch TBBT but nothing else, well besides znation on that show the ass gets eaten pretty quickly :icon_razz:

And no matter what "Chuck" says offer him enough money and he will change his mind he is a business  man not an artist

That is the way I always picture Penny after she got married to Leonard.  One thing about Penny, she always took real relationships seriously, no cheating, that is why she left Kurt, didn't get back with Mike, was mad at Dave and was upset with Leonard (almost cheating).  She also took marriage seriously that is why she had trouble committing, it was forever and she planned on doing it only once.  So her wearing full pajamas and a robe makes sense, seeing her stuff now as only being just for her husband, no one else, and It was also one of the reasons she screamed for Leonard when Sheldon came in the bathroom during her shower, she is a happily married wife now.

^^^Great points all SRAM. That's why I love that moment in the Dr Gallo episode (I'm so bad with episode names-sorry) where she looked over her shoulder to see if the other 3 guys were paying attention before she flashed Leonard. Just perfect and my favorite moment of Season 9! For his eyes only!!!!!!!!p>
