Sheldon is the master at lifting the eyebrows to express himself, but I just love the way Amy is doing it here, and yeah, the way Sheldon moistens his lips to prepare for what's coming....

Look at the way he moves his fingers on his leg.    It's similar to the way he was fidgeting on the couch when he was trying to break it to Amy that he needed to just be her friend.  

Sheldon is in unfamiliar territory with these feelings, and Jim is doing such a great job of portraying Sheldon's nervousness with these little gestures while at the same time showing that Sheldon wants the same things as Amy.   I can truly feel Sheldon's butterflies and racing heartbeat.   It's like he's silently saying "Oh boy," but not because he's dreading what's to come like when they cuddled the first time, it's because the big moment he's prepared for has finally arrived.

So how would this work logistically?  I'd love to do it--my husband thinks I'm nuts as it is about this.  In fact, he wants to go stargazing that night if it is nice out -- praying for cloudy weather or he can go on his own.  Told him I'd meet up with him later!!

Do you think the forum would actually live through live chatting during the ep?  By the time it airs on the west coast I expect the servers to have completely died.  As in, caught fire and exploded.

Just have to say I CANNOT stop thinking about all this kissing and Sheldon.  I have been dying for us to see some passion (physical and emotional) from him for Amy for FOREVER.  That was one thing I really hoped we'd see through the breakup.  And of course we got it from him during at several points.  I am SO ecstatic were seeing both directed at Amy this week!  So much emotion in how he runs out the door to go to her, interrupts her date and doesn't care, bares his soul.  Wow.  

And these kisses are slaying me.  The first:  his hand in the small of her back yanks her to him and he bends him knees molding his body to hers. 

The second, he just falls on her; his arm is hooked around her neck and he's pressed into her before her hand even gets around his neck.  The slow mo just...oh heavens.

i CANNOT stop watching!

i think it's the first time we hear Sheldon saying it to Amy flat out, right? Not because she was going to say it first, not for any of the reasons we heard him say it in season 8. 

That is just... wow!

and then they kiss... and they kiss again while he embraces her tight!!!! and then the show ends with them kissing....

I might just faint.

I am dying to see Sheldon's eureka/epiphany moment when he realizes what the song in his head is about and why he keeps hearing it.....just that moment of realization......it is gonna hit me hard, I thank God my husband works during the broadcast , cause I am sure that I will be squealing and shouting at the TV....dear lord, the wait is killing me!

Hadn't planned on it, but I'll be at the Star Wars opening night on Thursday now (whether costumes will be worn is still be argued about). Now while I'm in line I'll be thinking about what fictional characters will be doing instead of standing in line like me!

Like the fact that two of them will be doing the horizontal mambo?  The guys will be standing on line for Star Wars just like you and the ladies are probably drinking wine toasting the fact that they are not at Star Wars and either avoiding talking about Shamy sex or gossiping the heck out of it.
