I think we can all agree that after last night, Sheldon is DAMN ready to make love with Amy!

I just really want to know what happened after Dave left ..............? 

I headcanon that he slept over but they didn't do anything more than kissing. For one, I can't see him wanting to leave her after just getting her back, and since they've had at least one sleepover before, that's not a big step for them to take. And, second, it makes for a nice transition to the next episode and his decision to consummate the relationship. When we first heard the spoiler about Proton helping him to make a "very important decision", I was speculating that 9x11 would open with us finding out that he had spent the night (either via scene or via dialogue) and that after all that kissing and sleeping in the same bed with her, he would have been ready to go for it all and Proton would be there to make him make that decision. I just didn't think it would happen in the same episode!

Late to the party but I did manage to watch in the middle of the night and stay awake all day at work. WINNER.

What an INCREDIBLE episode. It couldn't have been a better reunion. Jim and Mayim nailed... It was such new ground for the characters but it still felt truthful and organic. The way they looked at one another and the way they touched each other... I was DEAD!

Big shout out to Stephen Merchant who provided the biggest LOL moment for me... 'How's my hair'. I really hope he can guest again.

Now I can start getting ready for next week's epic episode! How will I survive another hiatus!?

Yep, same. I don't think we'll ever get a confirmation either way (unless all our sources somehow decided to leave that part out lol) so I just go with what I like the most: They spent the night together, cuddling, kissing, talking, and maybe being all hippie dippie in their unique Shamy way!

ditto.  My head was it was a lot of cuddling & kissing and some talking...but he may have spent the night.  I also in my crazy head imagine those hands did some wandering down her back and the sides of some serious exterior 2nd base & ass action....

And another thing....!

I remember us being amused last month that the lyrics of the song were including lines like that:

"Gonna love you every single night / Cause I think you're too outta sight"

And I think the general consensus among us then was that of course they would just pick the fitting stuff about Sheldon being "living like half a man" and all that and the rest probably doesn't really mean that much. But putting those lines in context of sexually frustrated Sheldon (see yesterday's discussion lol) and what happens in the very next episode... uhm yeah. They couldn't have picked a more fitting song. lmao

like the person is amazing.  Its a phrase used in the 60-70s moreso to describe that person as awesome, perfection...all good!!

You're too good to be true, you're from another world, someone like you can't be found in anywhere else, you're unique. One of this guesses has to be the correct.

Outta sight was a 60's term slang phrase....it really meant all of the above, plus "too good to be true" or "my eyes can't even look at such perfection", all of those things combined.   It was a phrase to mean that it was beyond special in a way.

Yep, that's my headcanon, too.  It's already late evening, I just can't see either of them being like "Ok, well, nice to be back together, bye!"  I think they moved to the couch, kissed and cuddled, then went to bed, sleeping next to each other, maybe even cuddled up because they just can't let go of each other (clearly, from the episode!)

I think the morning included more cuddling and some conversation.  Not huge because I think neither of them wants to rehash everything and they both KNOW what they want now, but I think there were apologies, a few words of regret, more declarations of love and some more smooching.  I think by Sunday night Amy knows that not only does she have Sheldon back, but she has Sheldon 2.0 and their relationship is going to be a 2.0 as well.

I believe that's why, when she finds out only 4 days after last night's episode that Sheldon wants to be intimate, she is happily surprised, but doesn't say "What the hell?  Who is this guy?  Is he only doing this so I won't leave again?  Is this really what he wants?" or otherwise overanalyze.

So yeah, my headcanon.  And, oh yeah, I almost forgot.  DEAD.

That's how I see it as well. I have no doubt that she noticed the change in him. I mean, he's such a hippie dippie cutie pie in this - how could she not??

- Like I said, Sheldon was so damn adorable while humming the song and slowly slipping into madness. Jim really is a genius!

- Sheldon's realization moment was so pure. And I love how nervous he was when he was telling Amy about the song and how Amy's his heartworm. When Sheldon says he wants to be her boyfriend again, you can actually see how Amy lets out a relieved sigh. This is what she's been waiting and longing for! 

- The way Sheldon almost bursts out his ILY to her, just beautiful, like he's been wanting to say it to her for a loong time. And Amy's super excited response melted my heart. 

- Do I even have to say anything about Dave?? He tries so hard for not going all fanboy over Sheldon, but fails. How he pops up behind the door to say his famous line.. LMFAO!

- Their first kiss, the audience is screaming like crazy!!!! (And so would I if it weren't 5am..). The Beach Boys on the background after Amy pulled him in for another kiss fit just perfectly. 

- The tag scene: Holy shit, they really are necking like hooligans! Dave is so hilarious just standing there. Did you notice that when Dave says: "I'll see myself out. Thank you Amy for dinner" Sheldon tightens  his grip on Amy like saying: That's right, get the eff out, she's mine! Sheldon is so into kissing Amy, that he doesn't even care when Dave says he'd like to discuss about physics! Then Amy kicks the door almost to his face LOL! 

I'm still in heaven!! I can't believe how beautiful and funny this episode was. It's now 5.30am and I've been up all night. Totally worth it. Probably can't go to sleep for some time because I'm so high on adrenaline. Sorry if this post made no sense. Again, high on adrenaline. Also might be dead.

IS THIS WHAT A HEART ATTACK FEELS LIKE?

What I love most about Sheldon's realization that the song was about Amy is that he figured it out on his own. Sheldon clearly sees how positive Amy has been in his life.  I'm so happy the writers continued showing us Sheldon's growth in this way.
