I've been reading reviews and recaps of the episode.  The number of review/recap writers who have enjoyed the Skype scenes...but are so over it, is funny, they are all so anxious to have them back in the same room together.  Ah, the unspoiled, they'll never know what hit them.  

The weird thing was that in both Tweets he was asking how to pronounce them in French

Maybe the guys and girls will be taking a European vacation

I have 2 reasons to be both concerned and hopeful:
1. Molaro is the one who usually drives the fandom mad of cause a big rage in our hearts
2. Tara is related to most of the good Shamy stories.

So maybe it's a 50-50 case!

I wonder if they're starting to move toward Lenny moving to 4B and the guys are talking it up to Sheldon and trying to convince him how great it would be to have his own space.  Howard could use his "linguistic skills" and refer to it as his Fortress of Solitude or Batcave in French for some reason?

Is the 200th episode a sweep episode too?  When should it air? With the reruns in the next weeks I'm lost...

I'm just spitting balling here, but they have built up this collaboration between Leonard and Sheldon for almost two seasons.  I wonder if its time for some Nobel talk about it.  That would be a great feather in the sweeps cap.  I don't expect much Shamy because we are spoiled and were told under no uncertain terms to "Cool our Jets."    However, I can see Kripke's visit next week starting some ol' Jelly Shelly.  Either way, I am happy with how the plots are going.    I loved the Meemaw ep because it was fun and funny.  We need more of that.  Frankly, I've heard it said that a great Gang episode would be a good 200th. I would love this, but i suspect a Lenny centered episode.  Maybe a Howdette prego scare.  Its so fun to speculate without the heart break of a ShAmy split.  Ahhh... its nice to breath easier on Taping report nights...

I would love a gang episode for the 200th! I agree that any Shamy moment are gonna be few and far between til probably the end of the season. My jets are pretty much cooled. I remember the discussion about all the baby references as well. They started mid season 8 and I believed ended as of 9. 12  We might get lil bits here and there, but for the most part I think its gonna peter out. With all that said though, I still have trust issues as to our couple

I agree that "Cool your jets" was a warning for all the fans; also the choice to make Amy know about the ring is a way to say "calm down, now everybody knows about it, it's going to happen someday, just give us some time..." I was ready to bet money on a proposal this season, now not so sure; anyway, I'm very curious to see how the writers are going to built a romantic proposal now that the surprise is gone. I'm sure they have already an answer to that question, since really it was a very peculiar choice and we already know that, at least as long as Shamy are concerned, they plan much in advance, LOL! I'm not complaining, anyway! This season, albeit all the drama we've been through, was the most important season for Shamy, so if no other milestone happens but they remain so happy in love as they are now and we are allowed to witness some of their quirky cuteness, I'll be happy. For the 200th episode I still think it will be about living arrangements, in  the recent episodes there are hints that Lenny's impatience for having their privacy is growing, and frankly now I can't see any reasonable explanation  for them to live with Sheldon. So, I can see a Lenny episode in the sense it's about them living alone (in  4B?), but I hope some nice group interaction as well, I really miss those moments where all the gang is together!

Funny story:  I really do love spiders.   One time at work, a spider was scurrying across my desk and I followed it with my face saying "hello" to it.   My boss and a couple of co-workers witnessed this.   They thought I was talking to my reflection in the desk.   Major confusion and laughter ensued.

They didn't know that spider made a daily visit.   I considered the little critter a friend.

I think Sheldon would look awesome in a Spiderman costume.   He's already got the speech down.   Would love to see Amy kiss him the way MaryJane does in the movies.  

It´s fascinating how such little creatues are able to create such beautiful webs, they are always artworks for me!

I would love to see Sheldon in a Spiderman costume, because he´s tall, slim and now that he´s got some more muscles, he would look even greater in this costume. Just the thought of the play of his back muscles, gives me goose pimples.

How about a Spiderman movie with Jim Parsons as Spiderman? But it should be about a mature Spiderman in his fourties, still trying to handle his private life, his career and his life as a superhero, while he starts to think of his retirement, because he knows that he can´t do this forever and fears that he could fail just in the moment, when people need him the most. Jim would be awesome!

A Spiderman related kiss would be great, I´m still dreaming of Sheldon hanging upside down from his bunk bed to give Amy a good night kiss. *Sigh* *Drifting into the zone*

Ok, I just watched "The Empathy Optimization" because I hadn´t had time to watch it earlier and I must say I loved it!

It contained so much cute and heart-warming moments.

First there was the skype conversation with a totally relaxed and a juvenile looking Sheldon. So cute!

I´m still impressed, how he realized by himself how mean he had been with his friends and how he was willing to made it up, even if his intentions were quite selfish in the first place.

I´m not sad that Amy was sarcastic when Sheldon asked her to apologize for not being there for him, because it reminded me of what Emily haid said: To stand up for yourself and your position on a matter. That´s what Amy was doing, She just wanted to stand her point to stay away from Sheldon, because she knows how difficult he can be when he´s sick. This is her way to become self-confident and emotionally independent, because she´s not seeking his confirmation in everything. I don´t know if I explained myself.

I laughed when Sheldon wanted to give Penny one of his "apologize"-shirts while she was in the shower and she screamed out for Leonard, like she was saying: "Leonard, get him off me!"

But I laughed even more about the dog jokes: First, Sheldon calling for Stuart, like a master calls his dog.

Second when Leonard calls Sheldon a "pain in the ass" and asks him to jump into the bus and Sheldon shouts: "Thats me! Bye Stuart!" and runs to the bus, followed by Stuart who screams: "I can be a pain in the ass too!" So hilarious!

But my favorite scenes were Sheldon who finally apologizes completely honest and sweet to Emily. It was so heart-melting, I love when he´s talking with that serious voice and when he speaks right out of his heart. Then Sheldon who wanted to leave the bus, beacause he thought that his friends would have more fun without him (OMG this really made me cry, he was acting so mature and I´m so proud of him!). And in the end, Raj´s little pole dance.

I love it when the guys are like that, it makes me want to dance with them and shake my hips!

Maybe someday there will be an episode where the guys decide to bet, who is the pole dancer of them? So they practise and make a little private dance for their ladies in their dormitories. Well, I don´t know if I could survive a pole dancing Sheldon, I guess this would be too much for my poor heart, I´m still recovering from my last heart attack I got after I saw episode 9x11!

It would be funny if Sheldon had privacy issues with Lenny i.e. Shamy in the shower interrupted by Leonard and it's Sheldon that kicks them out.

I do wonder if Lenny moved in with him subconsciously to avoid dealing with their issues. On their own, it will hit them square in the face.

Given the effort the writers are making in order to prove that "Sheldon is still Sheldon" I think it is unlikely to see Shamy together in the shower anytime soon, LOL!!! Anyway it could be interesting if, indeed, the change in living arrangements is suggested by Sheldon, whether for egoistic reasons (more privacy, Penny is annoying him for something), because he understands that his friends need to be alone  or, in perfect Sheldon's style, for a combination of those egoistic and caring reasons...

There´s just one more thing I wanted to add for today: I feel bad for Stuart being left out and living a lonely life. Ok, he´s creepy sometimes, but he can be sweet if he tries and I just hope that the writers will let him find his "Lucille" before this sitcom ends one day.

I really doubt we're ever gonna see this with the whole "Sheldon is still Sheldon!" theme, but aside from Shamy engagement, marriage, and moving in together, my biggest Shamy wish is to see Sheldon unable to stifle his urges for Amy and having to deal with admitting to her this fact... and seeing Amy kind of be a tease about it

It seems now that all is well with our ShAmy there are less shamy fanfiction stories.

Almost every time I check the updates of BBT fanfictions I see it is shenny stories. 

Do you know an other site/link where I can read shamy fanfiction, other than from fanfiction.net ?

I became addictive. :-/ I usually read a chapter or more, from some stories, each evening before sleeping.

When I turned on the tv and I realized that they would show the episode today, I got euphoric. I mean, it's the episode! God bless the person who decided don't make me wait so much.
They'll show THE episode (the other one, 'Opening Night') at monday.
