I think the award would be comedic performance.  So when you guys say the stairwell scene, you mean when she says, 'You shut your damn mouth!"  Yes?  I think she should get an Emmy for the Thanksgiving Episode.  Calling it. (As if everyone and their brother hasn't said the same thing)

How she could have lost with the tiara scene is beyond my comprehension!

Sorry, I crossed a line....things just get so messy here some times.  I apologize, I just like coming to story threads that aren't muddied up with actor/people stuff.

No, you didnt cross a line! I think its great. Its so easy to get off topic and we have threads for a reason! I like how organized this forum is!  Its because we keep to the topics.  I was just teasing ya!  *wink!

Now, back to Shamy!  Only one day!  I really think we are going to see a group dinner scene soon.  I really hope. I want to see that like at Christmas, "Well... you call it love, but it has a lot of raisins in it..."

I just hope Mayim isn't hurt after that fall. I can't even imagine having dozens of cameras capture such a moment. poor thing! 

 

To bring this back on topic... with Kripke in the episode filming Tuesday, I would love for some recall to the, "frequent, intense and whimsically inventive" coitus lie. Maybe a quick one liner from Amy like, "is it ever... hoo!" #fanficdreams

Hopefully just kissing the ground! Poor thing! Everytime I see someone falling, my first reaction is: "OMG I hope she/he didn´t get hurt!

Getting back on topic, there certainly has to be some fallout from Amy finding out about the ring. I'm kinda getting the feeling that Sheldon's apology tour might be setting up for him to fully realize just how much he put Amy through. Our boy has grown up a lot this season, but I don't think he quite gets it just yet.

I just hope that this doesn't become like coitus over and over again, with the frustrated Amy portrayed  in Season 6/7 and Sheldon working on his issues all by himself.  I get that we all have to "calm our jets", that this season has been mainly (if not all) about Shamy so far and there should be a break at some point, and Sheldon becoming aware of really wanting to marry Amy is a good way to have this break, but I'd like the journey this time would be more about "them" than about "him", that they together get to the point they both feel the time is right  to start a life together, not just Sheldon coming to terms with whatever issues he still has.

Nope because I agree, I think it was the bigger moment! For Sheldon to realize he enjoys and misses the softness Amy brings to him/ his life is HUGE! I don't think coitus could happen until he realized this. Earworm episode opened doors, and I was really excited about that!

As much as I would love to see an "in exactly 4 years" wedding for Shamy, I'm okay with the ring not coming up immediately because they seem to be in a happy place now and I don't want the ring to add pressure for them to get married (I don't want a repeat of Lenny! - yes, I said it.) just as introducing the "possibility" of coitus into their relationship did, like you mentioned. I hope we see a more mature Amy on the same page as Sheldon who knows his dedication with or without the ring on her finger right away, and I hope they don't make things between them become "when is he gonna propose?!" I love quirky, smitten Shamy and I don't want anymore "when is the next step coming?" frustration! Little moments of closeness (and perhaps Sheldon's building sexual desire for Amy!) between them are all I'm kinda hoping for right away

I hope this too!.....I think this may be the direction that they are going to take, after all Amy did tell Meemaw that they are growing together, and Sheldon did defend her to his beloved Meemaw....which I don't think he would have done even a year ago.....just my opinion of course, but that is the sense I am getting!

I agree...All things considered, I'm somehow hopeful the writers will not do that. I mean, one of the reasons for making Amy know about the ring might have been just to take off the pressure (over us as fans); we have been all told to calm our jets and it has been explained to us that the time is not right yet. As you, I'm pretty much ok with that, it may help me to enjoy the show more. Up to now, even if I was telling myself to not be so greedy and that we have had so many good things recently, the idea that the ring was out there and ready to be used crossed my mind from time to time and maybe I would have waited the next episodes just asking myself "When is it going to happen?" Now I'm more at peace, oddly more ready to be surprised now that the surprise has gone. I hope we all spend good times with Shamy from now on...The problem is that last time they did something like that, with coitus, we had tons of awkward moments in which Amy seemed just to suffer Sheldon's decisions without having an active role in the relationship. And that's what I don't want to see now...but, again, I'm somehow hopeful it won't be the case this time!

You people all careful about the fall and I'm laughing. I'm feeling like I'm a bad person. If I was near, I obviously would help her to stand up again (after laugh a lot) lol. But she probably just hurt the knee, it doesn't seem to be something serious.
