Yeah, I honestly don't care that much whether or not they did it again as long as they're happy and on the same page. BUT the more flirty suggestive scenes the writers put in the more careful they need to be if they want to reveal that they didn't do it again after all because that constellation may come dangerously close to old Shamy 1.0 issues of Amy wanting more than Sheldon. Please, writers, can we not do that dance ever again, thank you very much!

If it turns out they didn't do it again despite all the flirty comments from Amy I would be fine with it if it turns out that it's just a bit of a communication problem because they're so new at this and don't know how to seduce the other or whatever. So you have Amy with her clumsy flirty attempts that Sheldon doesn't get on one hand, and on the other Sheldon not knowing how he should bring it up because Amy so readily agreed to the once a year plan. Or something like that. The important part here would be that they want the same and the reason why they didn't do it is nothing super dramatic.

Hello my lovely shamy shippers!

I liked the episode. It started really good: we had a cute Howardette moment at the beginning with Howard finding out about the baby while playing a scavenger hunt.

Then there was the scen which really cracked me. The boys were talking about the baby, while Sheldon mentions that a baby would ruin everything. Leonard mentions that they could have two babies in the group: the actual baby and Sheldon.

And then cames this little line which made me scream happily: "Would a baby shave every once a loving days?"

I´m not sure if I understood it correctly, but doesn´t that mean, that Sheldon shaves himself before he has sex with Amy?

I mean why would he call it loving days? He always called his nights with Amy date nights, didn´t he?

It might be just my dirty imagination that interpretes too much into his sentence, but I can´t get over this sentence. 

It would be so cute, if he considered his love play with Amy "making love". I always wanted him to say something like this, so I hope that that´s what he meant.

I´m disappointed thatt they cut out Amy´s dreamy face and that Sheldon patted on the seat next to his, but it´s okay, because we still have a funny episode, because we have a drunk Sheldon who went into the kitchen looking for the toilet.

I would have laughed so much, if he had come back and said, that they all have to taste the vegetable soup and had giggled.

It was fun to watch everyone singing. Leonard doing rap was funny and Howard singing at the end, was so heart-warming and cute!

But my favorite one was a released Amy going all into the song, dancing, pushing her breast forward, while she sings about break up and Sheldon points his glass towards her, like he´s saying: "Go ahead, I like it!"

Unfortunately I have to go, because I´m still ill, I just wanted to throw my two cents in, since I haven´t said anything last week.

One more thing about last weeks episode: I loved Valentino, I hope we get him to see again, after becoming a part of the Wolowitz family.

 

It was once every 11 days. Yours is kind of funny though to have been used.[emoji6]

I so agree with it! As long as this doesn't turn into the old dynamic, everything is fine to me, I don't really care how often they have had sex...TBH, the promo gave me for a second, from the expression on Amy's face soon after the "birthday suit" line, the vibe that some of the pushing Amy and the holding back Sheldon is returning. But, as I told before, the scene seems to have been heavily edited to fit in a 30 seconds ad, so I'm not very worried about it right now. But it is a concern. If the writers are being ambiguous on purpose I admit it is a really interesting device to keep the audience watching and being interested in "Shamy" sex, even after the big step has been taken and so the shock value has gone. But the risk is, as you said, that if it turns out they never did it again there is a very thin line between  flirty Amy and pushing Amy and between oblivious Sheldon and the old and sometimes mean Sheldon. I hope they don't cross that line. At the moment, anyway, everything is fine, they seem to be very happy and in love, so unicorns and rainbows for everybody!

I knew it was too good to be true.

But there´s still hope that we get one or the other cute Shamy scene!

I´m happy with every little Shamy moment, even if it is just Amy stroking gently trough Sheldon´s hair, while he rests his head on her shoulder. Or Sheldon who twists one wisp of Amy´s hair around his finger, while they gaze into each other´s eyes, before their lips meet.

Speaking of cute Shamy scenes, I saw the trailer (thanks for it Einstein von Brainstorm!)  and I must say I love the way Amy mentions Sheldon´s birthday suit, she´s so cute when she´s in this flirty and giddy mood! And then the way she bites into her lips, she was surely holding back something (I´m not sure if she wanted to say something or if she wanted to kiss Sheldon and withheld her urge, because they were at Penny´s).

The PAmy high five! <3 Also loved her comment about how Sheldon is totally wasted because of the punctuation.

- Drunk Sheldon though - Oh honey! LMAO I loved how he had a blast during the whole thing. He was so funny and sweet at the same time. Loved his pep talk to Howard, loved that he was still super smart, loved how he said he could beat up the bartender but won't because she's a good kid (LOL), and when he's talking to Amy like "Me doing karaoke? You bet I'm going up there!" ahahaha

- The PAmy duet! <3 And Sheldon toasting to Amy. omg lol

All in all, what a great group episode!!

quick question, and the answer is probably obvious--during the duet Amy has a line "My first love broke my heart for the first time!" and they cut to Sheldon raising his glass with a big grin on his face (hilarious!). Is Sheldon acknowledging he is THAT first love and they can all have a laugh about it now, or is he simply raising a glass to Amy because his girl is up there belting out a tune? I'm assuming he's yucking it up because he recognizes he's that first love, and he's at a point where it's something they can chuckle about? It's cute and funny either way...

One thing I forgot about last nights episode-- on one hand we have an exasperated Sheldon standing up begging "what kind of maniacs have coitus in someone else's bedroom?!" and on the other we have a Sheldon who confesses peeing in his sister's bathroom sink because he couldn't get the child lock off the toilet!

One of my favorite episodes, The Relationship Diremption (7x20) is playin locally right now...Amy not digging Sheldon's "sex on a stick" makeover, and Rajemily's double date with Howardette!

I hope the writers arent done with Emily.

Now that Shamy is stronger than ever, maybe Sheldon can give Amy that sex on a stick look on Friday nights or something lol

I remember that I used to read TRs occasionally back at season 7, and I didn't read the one from this episode. All I know is that I was shocked for a few seconds at the scene that Sheldon woke up without his shirt. I was like "OH NO THEY DIDN'T" strongly believing that he and Amy had sex at that night. It was a hell of a scare!

Lol me too. I didn't read TR's until this season, so all of those other episodes we watched unspoiled. I totally thought Amy took advantage of a drunk Sheldon lol....

Whoa, I don't think so. It sounds very wrong, almost like a abuse. She couldn't do that, many chances were given to her and she patiently waited for the perfect time to do so, because deep inside, it had to be a experience for both. That's why she also didn't had sex with other man when she broke up with Sheldon, even when she could have sex with Dave. It would be much easier, but she wanted him! 
The best thing from the time I didn't used to read TRs was the train kiss. Totally unexpected. The only thing I knew is that something huge would happen. I was so pessimistic that the kiss was the first thing I discarded.

Just watched the YouTube clips but positive negative looks a great episode. 

Agree with all the comments above. Wouldn't it be great to have 21 min episodes again.

Loved Amy in the girls scenes and the throw back to the Girls afternoon tea. Yes Amy you can now feel like a grown up now you have been with a man.
