Ship Zone [Spoilers] Shamy: Season 9

Late to the party, but I'll say - I really loved 9x16!

I'm vaguely aware of the fact some cute Shamy moments got cut? But I wasn't upset cause I remember that TR really really vaguely (joys of being unspoiled for once?) cause the morning the spoilers came out I had an interview at the US embassy that was deciding if i get a US travel visa or not to see the tapings (I diiiiiiiiiiiid! so now i'm going to hopefully see two tapings soon <3 : D *still can't believe it* ) so i don't even remember what was cut...

I must say I was in the minority after 9x11 cause the 'next birthday' line really upset me and I was leaning more towards Sheldon being serious about it, and I kinda thought until we get a clear confirmation they've done it some other time, I was more inclined to believe it was a one time thing (and not very happy about it but trying to ignore it).
But Amy's lines in 9x16 to me sounded like 99,5% confirmation that they've done it again (and not once), so, even with the episode being pretty Shamy-lite, it's made me happy.. Like, happier than any episode since The Opening Night Excitation : D

I don't even know what else to add, except I thought the episode in general was hilarious, so many funny moments, but Raj's line about tropical drinks and Sex & The City just killed me, I love our writers... And PAmy high five was cute. And of course there's never enough of drunk Sheldon = )

I don´t know if Sheldon went into the jacuzzi if he knew that Howard had sex with Bernadette there. But he will surely make him pay for it.

I wish Sheldon would at least wear a polo shirt once, I know it´s not much like him, but Amy could have one of her daydreams where he wears one.

Wow, ghost town in here today.  So I've been thinking....one of the things I so want to see from our Shamy is Sheldon softly touching Amy's face, maybe tucking an errant strand of hair behind her ear, or tapping her nose softly with his finger, or gently kissing her forehead....just a soft tender moment.....sigh....the feels would kill me!

Awww that would be sweet! Or they just have breakfast in the Sheldon´s kitchen. Each one is holding a mug. On Sheldon´s mug there´s written "Cuddles" and on Amy´s "little lump of wool", or "Flaky" or "Princess Corncob" or simply "Darlin´".

For all of the nicknames for Amy, I can see "Darlin'" being the one she loves the most. I am sure Sheldon explained the song that was stuck in his head and what brought him back was that song.

I was just musing to Luna the other day how we haven't seen Shamy together at the kitchen island drinking tea in ages. There's a bit of cruel irony in that Lenny are practically chained to that spot now (much to the dismay of their fans) while at the same time this is exactly where I want to see Shamy again, preferably like this:

I´m missing these times too!

I would like them to establish some kind of ritual. Something like they would meet every evening in Sheldon´s kitchen to talk about their day or to discuss about physics or neurobiology or whatever comes to their mind. And at the end they would toast each other like they do in your picture.

Lenny definitely could leave them the kitchen island. Lenny has their own table, where they often eat. Penny even has a kitchen island, so why don´t they talk and drink there?

I wonder what would be the trigger to make Leonard move to Penny? Disturbing noises coming from Sheldon´s bedroom? Shamy spending more time together and spreading out in the apartment more and more?

I agree with tea time, and Im still waiting for a group meal in 4A. I really dont need to see them gazing into each others eyes to see who blinks first, or any type of lover dovey-ness. i would, however, enjoy them doing mundane things together or something simple--we've heard of Sheldons secret recipe for I think potato salad, so how about date night at Amys where they cook a meal together...how about a dinner and a movie, or bowling? maybe they go shopping for something or attend an event/speaking engagement. Anything couple related where we can see them engaged in a pleasant way with one another.

Maybe after this last episode Sheldon reconsiders where he is at with drinking and can have a glass of grape juice that burns, or if he has that sweet tooth then maybe he enjoys margaritas or daquiris with Amy at the Cheesecake Factory bar or the new Tiki place we saw!

That would be sweet if Sheldon cooked for Amy! It would be a funny idea for an episode. Sheldon doing some cooking research, mixing different ingredients to find the perfect recipe for a dinner with Amy. And I want him to wear an apron while he prepares dinner for his lady. That would so adorable and damn sexy at the same time!

I hope the trigger is Sheldon saying he appreciates that they stayed, but that he no longer needs them, and that he's ready to either live alone for a while or live with Amy.

Yeah they definitely need to grow a pair. They might think that it´s still funny, but it´s just pitiable IMO. It was funny in the early seasons, but now that Sheldon is maturing more and more, it is time for Lenny and Sheldon to live on their own. It´s really annoying me, because on one hand I feel bad for Sheldon because Lenny seem to feel responsible to take care of him, so they hold his hand on every little step he makes, so he can´t learn to live on his own, on the other hand I feel bad for Shamy and Lenny as couples because they don´t have the chance to spent time alone, everytime they had some moment for their own in 4a, someone entered the apartment and disturbed them. (This is an apartment, no bar or airport where you can walk into, at least they could knock, before they go in) They interrupted Leonard´s "naughty carrot" dance (so well done by Johnny, just bravo!) and they interrupted Leonard speech on Valentine´s Day while they were taping a new FWF episode. This wouldn´t happen if everyone had his own place. l´m sure that we would get so much more funny Lenny/Shamy moments, because if they had their own place they would act free and released if you know what I mean.
