Yeah, they made it clear they have a clause for a breakup in the agreement. There's one in the roommate agreement too. That would be a pretty major oversight by the writers, tbh, which is why I'm hoping that it hasn't been mentioned for a reason. Like I said a while ago, my ideal scenario would be for Sheldon to realize it hasn't been signed, take it to Amy to sign and Amy not being able to bring herself to do it. And maybe we get an indication that she knew all along it hadn't been signed and that she was keeping quiet about it because it made the breakup not official and she never really wanted to terminate the relationship.

Yes it is.  In Table he brought it over (on his iPad) for her to sign the termination notice.

Thank you, I completely forgot about that. Maybe he doesn´t want to take out the RA, because this would mean, that he would see the shipwreck of their relationship on a piece of paper (like a literally manifestation, if you know what I mean) and I think he still doesn´t want to admit the break-up.

I love this idea! I´m sooo hoping that´s the reason and that the writers will come up with this idea and show it on screen.

I like this reason and idea regarding the RA best.

Sheldon may not to admit they've broken up, but what Amy?  If she was serious about breaking up with him and knowing how he needs closure, she would have invoked the termination clause.  Of course, she may do that in the next episode if he's still pestering her.

Yes. Which kind of goes with what Tallin was saying a few days ago: she opens her door to him, answers his skype calls, reads his emails, clicks on his links, drives over to shout at him. Yes, he is pestering her, but it's not like she doesn't have the choice to ignore him, if she wanted to. It's not like he's breaking into her apartment. I would be happy if this is what is going on, even if Amy were to go away for an episode to clear her head, and not take any phones or computers with her.

I think what would be sweet would be Mary contacting Amy to see how she's handling the break up, not to interfere in any way, but, because she's grown really fond of her and is genuinely concerned. This would also be a way for us to find out Amy's POV and get her thoughts and feelings on what's happening.

What she should do, if she wants him to stop pestering her and give her time to think, is to threaten to sign it.  Something like, 'I'll sign the termination clause if you don't leave me alone for a week.'   I bet he'd be gone before she finished the sentence.

LOL! Love that!

oh I didn't mean their relationship is like Lenny. Not at all. It's evident they love each other's company and spending time with each other. I'm just saying in terms of a break up. They've never broken up before, and Sheldon is easily swayed by what he sees sometimes. I'm sure he wants to see Amy cause they haven't communicated after Amy called time it was just a thought that came into my head that maybe Sheldons just pestering her and saying the things he said cause of what he's seen in his friends relationship. The amont of times Leonard has joked and said in a fight with Penny that he could 'go out and get any women he wanted' maybe Sheldon thought that would be the way to 'fight for his girl'. I dunno, I'm just letting my brain run wild lol

Ok, I understand your point, but Shamy is known, for not acting like others do, they have their own way, to handle things, that´s why we love them all. Sheldon had the chance to watch Lenny over all the years, that´s right, but he did things different to Lenny. The way he confessed his love to Amy was different, the way he asked her to be his girlfriend and I´m sure even the way he is going to propose will be totally Sheldon, quirky but sweet and full of emotions.

I've been watching you guys for a week now hoping I'd find the courage to join the discusdion without feeling like a stranger or something because I think you know eachother for a long time. However, I found the courage and everything. And BTW I'm from Egypt and TBBT has a hell of fans in the Middle East.

Regarding Shamy, I like how everything is happening. They're kinda developing. Sheldon kinda took Amy for granted in his life and didn't realize how she positively affected his life until she broke up with him. Which is healthy for their relationship as it must be a give and take. I fully understand that Sheldon was doing his best, but she was too and maybe more than him. So he must try harder and consider her hopes more than he thinks about the difficulty of fulfiling them. We all know that they are endgame, so maybe this stage in their relationship is what will make them know how important and perfect they're to eachother and that both of them must work on this relationship and give as much as he/she takes.

Maybe because Sheldon hadn´t thought that a break up would ever happen, so he didn´t put it in the RA.

In "Table" he had a provision for break ups per a termination notice he brought to Amy to sign before he was swayed to change his mind. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Which she did sign and then wanted to take the survey.  They obviously re-stated the RA, but I wonder if they made any changes to it at the time and what they were.

Well she can have dates, as long as she doesn´t have any physical contact with her dates. But to be honest, I´m torn somehow. On one hand, I don´t want to see Amy dating other guys, I want Sheldon to be the only one, but on the other hand, I want her to have dates, as long as she doesn´t have any pysical contact with them and she realizes how special her relationship with Sheldon is and how boring other guys are in comparison with Sheldon.

Like I said, the only way I can accept Amy dating someone else is if it's ONE episode and she's coerced into it by someone else or set up. And she ends up acting like Sheldon all night and be totally turned off. But they've only been apart for 48 hours now, it would be ridiculous for her to want to date anyone else or for anyone to think it's a good idea to see her up so soon. And if there's a long enough time jump where they have been apart long enough for her to think about dating someone else it would put a huge damper on my enjoyment of the relationship or the character. I don't think it could be the same again.

I can her being coerced into a date by Penny and Bernadette, but it's something I'd like to see regardless of how much time has passed.  Although it might be funny to have 'the date' try and kiss her goodnight and her say he can't because she can't have physical contact with anyone but her boyfriend - that would get rid of the 'date' as well.

To me the issue isn't whether or not she physically has any contact with them. To me the issue is whether she wants to date or wants to have physical contact. If the only reasons she's not it's because of sticking to the contract it doesn't mean that she doesn't want it. To me, her wanting to date one, let alone several, other people kind of spoils her character in my eyes. Plus, haven't we been there already with Stuart? Or even Zack?
