The Big Bang Theory has spent a lot of this season focusing on Sheldon and Amy’s relationship. We’ve seen them go through a ton of ups and downs, but now they’re in a spot where they’re comfortable, happy, and in love.

What struck me as so awesome about the Shamy tag scene, was how 'intimate' the scene was. They were alone, on the couch, near the fire, raining outside, drinking wine (in as much as they were still playing the game - alone, without Lenny). And they were so flirty and happy. They have grown so much since the beginning of the season, and it's a great thing to see.

It was so cute! I loved it. Amy's voice when she told Sheldon to drink after the rock his girlfriend's world in bed part, the flirting and touching in the tag scene. It was all so perfect. Honestly, if we didn't know that they hadn't slept together again yet, this episode would have totally had me convinced that they were continuing to have sex on the regular. Very intimate.

Well, I liked the episode more than I thought I would, my biggest fear was the way that amy would say the "rocked my girlfriend's world in bed" line, I thought that maybe it would sound "horny" or embarrassing but surprisingly to me she looked so innocent and blushed at the same time it was just.. nice to watch, the way she smiles and says: "you know the rules, drink!" awww Mayim is an excellent actress!!... the tag scene was cute.. I like it! They looked so innocent, the way they can enjoy a very simple game and turning it into a very romantic and intimate moment without the need to include the "sex or dirty" element in was very sweet.. maybe that is the magic I miss the most in shamy relationship..

After having seen the taping I have to say I loved the final product tonight! It was interesting to see which takes they kept of the scenes and which ones got tossed, but thankfully the edits didn't change the overall goodness this episode gave us Shamy fans! If there ever is a reason to buy S9 when it comes out on dvd, everything after episode 9! This one is a keeper

Indeed! It was very funny, especially Raj with the bear and Shamy. But now let me talk about another subject:
I don't know you guys, but I like when Sheldon is a big ass, like in today's episode lol

This was a great Shamy episode IMO. My favorite Shamy episodes now are(in no particular order)-

The Opening Night Excitation, The Solder Excursion Diversion, The Big Bear Precipitation and The Earworm Reverberation -also  because they used a Beach Boys song <3

It's one of my favourite episodes of the season! It was Shamy perfection from head to toe, really! My personal opinion is that if somebody missed the "old" Amy, here you go, this episode showed her quirky side so well. I liked how she convinced Sheldon to go into the "wilderness": she really knows what buttons have to be pushed with him! And it was done in a so innocent and funny way, Sheldon (who is not a genius when it comes to social interactions) saw her bluff immediately, but could not help to say it worked perfectly. During the game, they were at their best, they shared  closeness and  complicity...The way Amy explained Sheldon that Penny might have needed a while to think about something she hadn't ever done before and his smile in return were everything. And, don't get me started with the tag; Camilliayao posted a photo from The Fortification Implementation...It fits, they are sharing the same joy in both episodes, playing a game with their own rules and in their own ways and enjoying it much more than when they were playing it with "everybody else's" rules. But in this episode, I saw much more intimacy and closeness than in the Fort episode. They were sitting very close to each other, there was touching, Sheldon sat so comfy on the couch, it was not his usual "rigid" posture. Even in the Fort episode, when Amy asked him to sit on the floor, he did it, but it felt a little "strange" to me and he looked not a ease doing it. Everything appeared more natural in the cabin, this new "body awareness" is there since 9.11,  but in this episode it was there at its best. And, last but not least, I loved Amy's mention to Sheldon "rocking her world in bed"...I know this is a soar spot for some of us, but I couldn't help to find it adorable...There was no "desperation" in it, no "horny" Amy and nothing like that, just a girlfriend joyfully flirting  with her boyfriend; and Sheldon didn't find it annoying at all, he was just slightly coy and...well...proud of himself; but, on the other hand, in his own words...he excels in so many things...

As for the episode in general, I liked all plots, it was a nice episode for everybody; my only "complaint" is that I wished a little more consistency in the writing. The money issues with Lenny change every time they bring that up (fun fact, last time they spoke about money was in the Fort episode, too...I kind of see a pattern here, LOL!), Sheldon was arrested and Penny was there when it happened (when he refused to pay a fine...) But, it's just a comedy, so I don't think it's a big deal at the end of the story... it was a very equilibrate, funny episode, everybody could shine in their own way.

He was held in contempt of court.  I don't believe that really goes into the same category as being arrested.

One of the things I loved the most that it was also very funny... In the taping it felt to me that while the cabin story was like a shipper paradise, the Raj/Howardette/teddy bear plot was gonna be the highlight of episode in terms of laughs...

But in the episode both seemed equally funny and equally strong to me

And for the record, did you guys notice - it's probably the longest TBBT tag ever... It's longer than 1 min 10 seconds (with the average being 30-40 seconds, and occasionally even 20)

Yes, I noticed too! This along with things like the song playing while they were kissing in Earworm make them all the more special to me.

I am loving the ambiguity in regards to their sex life. As long as they have them as adorable and loving as they were last night! No mention of them sharing a room. The writers are excellent at keeping uswaiting!  I'll say it again Great Eposode!

OMG what a cute episode! Me right after watching it the first time:

Anyway, some stray observations about our cuties in this:

- The whole scene in which Amy tries to persuade Sheldon to go along with the weekend in the cabin was so adorable - especially her "YAY!!" after she won. hahaha I just love their banter!

- I'm probably one of the few people who just doesn't care for the annual "Sheldon drops his pants" joke. If you have him do that when he and Amy are alone in a bedroom then we can talk. /nudge nudge wink wink

- "Oh no, not our hike! Now we have to stay save and warm!" <- lol that's so me

- I love how they all just had a fun time with the game (save for the drama bit) - just PALS being pals! (*puts 5 bucks in the terrible puns jar*)

- The way Amy was throwing out the "completely rocked my girlfriend's world in bed" line was delightfully flirty. Sheldon's coy reaction was so cute and there was indeed a little smirk when he drank. haha Ever since we got the news about 9x11 and speculated about the fallout one of the popular scenarios dreamt up by us was something along the lines of Shamy boasting about their great sex in some way - and this is basically how I see this scene. And it happens in such a cute complimentary way, keeping it in tone with how their first time went down. <3

- And of course the tag scene was so so so wonderful! It was romantic and flirty but also quirky and cute - just the way we like our Shamy! The looks on their faces as they were teasing each other with those "never have I ever..." things were hilarious. I loved how relaxed and happy they were! I love how Sheldon's body language shows how he's so at ease and open with Amy in this situation with the way he sits and even a little touching. It's a bit curious that by comparison Amy is the one who's sitting there a bit more rigid. (Idk if that's supposed to mean anything or if it's just because the skirt???)

- The final joke about the elevator was perfect though with the way Amy provocatively looked him straight in the eyes while drinking and his shocked face. LMAO

Yes, Amy sat in her usual "rigid" way, she also held the glass in a more awkward way than Sheldon (who should have been the less used among the PALS to drink wine) did. I guess as you said some of it has to do with the way she was dressed, with that skirt it would have been difficult to sit in a more "casual" fashion, but maybe it was also a way to keep the situation a bit ambiguous...They have been very careful with the acting choices those days, there is a change in body language when Shamy are together, so I think they kind of did it on purpose. Do you guys remember the episode where Penny gave Sheldon some body language clues during FwF and Sheldon learnt that spreading his limbs was a welcome message to his viewers? Amy was very welcome to Sheldon during the tag, LOL!
