that would be interesting because it would make them live together because a married couple living apart like they do now would be strange.

When it was mentioned that they keep it hidden because everyone is worried about Shamy, I thought that would be perfect.  Just like the cold open in 7.23, when everyone pretty much ignored Lenny to run to Raj.  Then I thought about it some more.  If they don't tell anyone they got married, it could be a repeat of season 8.  Go all year with showing them as a couple only a few times, then show movement by them telling everyone in the last episode of the year, with the added bonus of the show not having to worry about breaking up the 4A-4B.

well, it is a classic setup for farce. Leonard on the couch - paying penance. Puts pressure on Sheldon because he has to sleep alone. It could be a slow burner. I'm optimistic right now.

Well in thinking this is the next to last season I do think Lenny will move in together at some point whether it be early on or in the middle. I think the end of the season they will be married and Shamy will be engaged. Sheldon will live alone for awhile before Amy moves in. 

Nothing really changes with the other Three.  maybe Howard meet his Dad, Bernadette has a change of heart about having kids. and Raj and Emily  will break up at one point. 

 

Some Fun story line i Like to see is a Hotel Episode much like in Season . Maybe someone get a Award. 

 

There at least 48 Episodes left. The Clock is  ticking on the Show. I tihnk a lot will happen this season as the Writers know they are running out of time.

I was thinking they could possibly have a unconventional marriage. Secret marriage would certainly be unconventional.

Hard to imagine that they would keep it secret all season.

They could keep  it a secret then one by one each ot he other characters  discover they are married.

But Sheldon was the only one who knew they'd decided to run off to Vegas to get married, so there wouldn't be any reason for them to put up some kind of front for anyone.  If they turned around and came right back, they wouldn't have to offer any explanations.  Maybe to Sheldon, but in his current state, I don't think he'd care whether or not L/P got married, or if he did, I don't know that he'd care about telling everyone else what happened.

Am i the only one who doesent give a damn how Sheldon would react, or deal. Its none of his buisness lol, sorry when Lenny get married well be consequential to no one but them. Bad enough their engagement diminished, they are the core couple of the show dont care wat anyone says. Writers statt treating them with the respect you used to show.them.

Actually if Lenny doesn't get married Sheldon would be off the hook. Lenny getting married is the only reason we saw the ring

Because he needs a chauffeur/minder/social planner?. He may not have Amy. But we don't even know the title so it's all speculation.

So going into season 9 maybe it is about time they let Leonard move on because people just don't stand still forever.

A curious thing about all this is how Sheldon was a semi-pro on masturbation at the very beginning and became totally against physical interactions. I know thy were shaping the character at that time, but still, it was a big change.

That was something kept from the first pilot into the second and then it never came up again. In the first pilot there was less differentiation between the Leonard and Sheldon characters.

Just read somewhere saying focus of s9 well on Shamy. Lol really? Dont get me wrong i like Shamy in doses, but complete focus? Thats all this show needs more relationship focused plots. I understand thats the priority moving forward. But please for the love of everything comedy should be the focus. Hesistant saying this but Sheldon has already lost his identity in the Shamy relationship. I mean the only plot involving Sheldon i.can remember that diddnt feature Amy, relationship crap. Was the work he did with Leonard. Other then that no.science, work, uni, takeout, rant on things lol. I mean all you see here regarding Sheldon, is character arching Shamy, thats it nothing about his character. 

 

Almost like hes just a centrepiece. His whole thing now is.Amy Amy, relationship, relationship etc. And thats fine, but hes not an individual anymore. Felt like last season.stopped being an.ensemble and was more seperate plots. Lenny.story or Shamy story, Howardette and Rajimly on the side. I dont know i would actually like to laugh in s9, Jmo.

I also laughed in Season 8, just not as much as I have in previous seasons. Although to be fair, when I wasn't laughing I was usually having some sort of fangirl attack over Shamy...
