It has turned into a soap opera.  Sorry...not interesting if you tune in for laughter and light hearted fun.  This is not the show for this kind of drama.  Sorry, can't agree it will be interesting...that is a different show.

Star him chasing her IS comedy though. And to me that sounds pretty darn funny And ending with them walking together is such a good sign Stunned like you are but for different reasons. I am stunned that Shamy fans cannot see the positives in this episode and are focusing on a throw away line. I agree there can be such thing as too much drama, and it is a sitcom. But the writers have kind of written themselves into a corner regarding Shamy, there wasn't much for them to do.. They probably thought that if they moved forward, everyone would be satisfied and stop watching. Which of course isn't true, married life Shamy is going to be gold! But I think this will create unique storylines and in the end, our Shamy will be ok :)

After Sheldon is outside Amys apartment he is asking are they still broken up, she says yes, he asks can he walk with her, she says yes, then confirms they are still broken up. I think it would be fine if it was a matter of them planning that this will work itself out in the next two episodes, but it sounds like they have set things up for it to take a good half of the season.  That is where I have a problem.  No one tunes into this show to watch week after week of drama.

I don't think it will be half a season. I think they may take things slow with them. It sounds to me as if she was already questioning whether she did the right thing almost immediately when Stuart(ewwww) was hitting on her.

They need to talk.....it may take a while for Sheldon to realize he has to be less crass with her. I understand the disappointment but it doesn't sound too bad to me. I always need to see how things play out on the screen to really judge.

She is growing a backbone and we have all wanted that....the timing is not good. It sounded to me as if Sheldon was pressuring her and she said enough now we are broken up. It may last a while but don't fret....they can make some really good comedy from Sheldon pining over Amy and trying things to win her over. If she starts dating someone else that will be a different story.

Even if Leonard wasn't still working with Boat Girl, who gets married in a season premiere?

I remember from college the saying "A comedy ends with a wedding, a tragedy begins with one."

If this was a drama Lenny could work out their shit when one of them is wrongfully accused of Boat Girl's murder during sweeps. "Who had access to that much weapons grade cough syrup with Codeine?"

I could see her annulling this or needing to take a break... No one is moving anywhere.

Aww...well for me...the drama is not interesting when I tune in to watch a comedy.  I hate feeling frustrated week after week until they work back to each other.  The longer they drag things out the worse they become.  And to say that Shamy were backed in a corner and the writers didn't know where to go with them?  Good grief, they haven't even officially gotten to first base (french kissing).   They have a lot of bases between to get through before coitus, engagement, marriage and adjusting to married life.  They had enough to fill up two possibly three or four years with that alone!

So reading the reports is fine by me...I can use the extra time on Mondays to accomplish many other things.   Once they are back together, then I can tune back in.   For now...I definitely won't be watching live.

Not to have a go, but you.shouldent be watching just a couple, if thats your whole investment no wonder your having an extreme reaction. If Lenny broke up i would be like that too, but u guess i still.enjoy the whole show. Saying oh they are not together not watching anymore, is obsurd! Im sorry.

 It isn't just about Shamy. I don't like how they have handled anyone in this episode to be frank.  The show is clearly having troubles figuring out how to tell story and unfold it without adding a lot of drama.  I don't mind a little drama...but they have set it up for a fair amount this season already.  So no, it isn't about the couples, it is more about how they are making unpleasant to watch for me.   It would be different if we had not already had 6 years of journey already behind us. I don't need to keep adding more and more journey so they can prolong things they know they have to eventually get to.   It is ridiculous.

No she wasn't....he was being insensitive.....like he is a lot. To me it sounded like he was pushing her to make a decision if they were broken up or not and she said you know what we are.....They know their characters and just like he tried to get her to tell him he was annoying, it sounds here as if he wanted closure and she gave it to him.

That's my take. And as much as I love Ramona....not in a million years....he hated her.

And yes..this is part of it.  The writers are yet again making their characters not follow past characteristics and suddenly become different people out of the blue.  I really hate their lack of attention to that and it is very disappointing to watch characters you love suddenly become someone you don't know.   They are really butchering Leonard and Amy and in a way Sheldon because he too is acting different   It just seems too far-fetched that suddenly everyone drank the same water and went nuts.
