The Application Manifestation? Compensation? Lol there are so many possibilities...

If they ever deal with tenure I think it will be in the series finale. They already dealt with it in an episode and it went nowhere...They didn't even say who got it...I think that ship has sailed now.

The guys are all in their 30's, isn't that a little young to be getting Tenure?

Weren't they battling over it in the tenure episode? And they were even younger at the time...Regardless, I imagine it as something that both Sheldon and Leonard will get at the end of the show, maybe after they get recognition for their paper.

Yes they applied for it but they weren't the only applicants and people who get Tenure are normally round 50, I think?

Sheldon was made a junior professor so he's part way there :)

If they applied for it at the time then I don't think there would be a problem if they got it a few years later. There can be exceptions to the rule and especially ig Sheldon is on his way there then it will happen eventually.

Yeah I think they will all be tenured professors at some point but promoting one over the other 3 seems a bit unfair to me :)

^^^

Actually I think Sheldon should be the least favourite to get it because of his abusive behaviour towards caltech staff in the past, but hey its the Sheldon show now so yeah he is favourite.

I don't know about all for of them, maybd they will give another chance to Howard to go to space, I can't imagine him as a ptofessor since what he does is more hands on...For Raj I don't know, but I'm sure that if Sheldon gets tenure, Leonard will too. Or maybe Sheldon will reject it because IIRC he wasn't into it in thr first place...It would be a nice twist if Leonard got tenire and Sheldon decided that he didn't want to be "tied down to a desk" teaching pesky students instead of continuing his discovering of the universe's secrets (paraphrasing Sheldon).

Sorry about all the typos but it won't let me delete anything...

What Leonard does is 'hands on' too though. The show has led us to believe that the guys are all at the top(ish) of their respective fields so I don't see why they all couldn't get tenure somewhere along the line :)

Howard turned down (read: lied his way out of) going to space again so I don't know if they will go back there but I would quite like to see him at home with the baby and working on his own projects away from that, he could be the next Elon Musk!

I thought about that too. Maybe with the baby on the way, Howard reaches out to Elon Musk for a new job.

That was one of my first thoughts too. With the baby on the way, Howard applies for a job with Elon Musk's company.

I guess seeing all of them get tenure is too "perfect" for me...I would prefer it if all of them ended up somewhere different in their paths :icon_biggrin:.

Howard as a working-from-home dad would be great for me and it would be great to see that happen instead of what always does...

Your right, Sheldon, Raj and Howard are going to be so pissed if they award tenure like it is actually done.

I have to disagree no one took Sheldon's class, the students have been shown to hate his lectures (loved those tweets) and he does not work well with others (many instances shown) I think he would not be a prime choice for tenure

Not to mention Sheldon's error in the superheavy, which Leonard showed to be wrong.   Leonard's work with Steven Hawking, and while Sheldon is the co-author of the paper that's making the rounds, Leonard is the other author.
