Guys,I don t want to change subject but I want to ask you if you think that TBBT will have a 11 season and others?

I ask this for the considerations of Hollywood Reporter's article:

To me that  article seems to be a mess.

No one knows what is going to happen. Will the series transform and go a few more seasons. Will it wrap up. The living arrangements for the main cast is the elephant in the room.

^^^I think it all depends on cast members (one in particular who, imho may be looking to stretch his wings elsewhere) wanting to continue past 11.  If they tape the usual number of episodes in seasons 10 & 11, that would put them well over 250.  Not sure what the totals for other long running sitcoms (I looked earlier today and Two and a Half Men came in at 262), but that would be pretty astounding in and of itself.  Things would be very, very different, especially with the Wolowitiz child.  The living arrangements will definitely need to be addressed and soon (again imho) if things are going to be believable.....It will be interesting to hear what others here think....

Enjoyed the 200th! I thought the car ride was one of the better scenes and Adam West was a hoot! I love how TBBT gets these stars to parody themselves (Wheaton, Spiner, Burton, James Earl Jones, etc) and we can now add a West to that list. That whole discussion of rating Batmans was hilarious, and West describing himself as Batman and "100 percent grade A West" in the suit was great.

The return of Winkle, yes! With her comment to Leonard about them all growing up, I wonder what ever happened to HER character. Single or in a relationship? Is she less abrasive now and softer around the edges, or was she just hiding it for the party? Loved her character back in the day...

Kripke and Beverly? She seemed to enjoy his flattery and they were talking in the background during different scenes...I wonder if the writers are gonna explore that in the future--Kripke is lonely and said so himself, and Beverly is available. It would make for some awkward humor for Leonard to be sure if Kripke hooks up,with Bev (maybe she gets a "fresh" start by moving to L.A.)...this would replace that awkward non-sexual relationship that Stuart had with Wolowitz's mom....

Amy, Leonard, and Wheaton's toasts were great. They could've trimmed some of the others. Winkle's dumbass toast was funny too. I liked how Sheldon laughed along with her, he would've never have done that years ago.

It was a fun episode to me, though a little busy at times. Maybe they should've considered a 1 hour special for the 200th.

You know...I was thinking about it. This current one should be the last season for "The Good Wife", so eventually next season CB could be available for joining TBBT more often; mmm...

Give her a few hours with Sheldon and I bet she would be in fine form.

In some sense I agree with you, Season 11 for me is quite a given, but I think some of the cast members would like to do something else past it. Anyway, on the other end, the ambiguity of all the answers cast and writers are giving to the question whether Season 10 will be the last makes me think that they are in the middle of some negotiation right now. Since there would be no need to negotiate contracts for Season 11, my guess is that at least they are talking about Season 12. Whether it will be done or not or it will be done by the whole cast or just some of them (which I would not like at all, TBH) it's yet to be seen, for me.

Kripke being Leonard's stepfather would be the weirdest and funniest thing in the world.  Can you imagine Penny trying to comfort Leonard after he accidentally walked in to find his mother and Kripke making out, Penny having to call Dr Gallo to make an appointment for him.:icon_twisted:

Just the sort of hell they love to put Leonard in.

Not that I know anything about physics but I just Googled 'soldering' and 'liquid helium' and there is a link... Something about using soldering to create a cryogenic seal to contain liquid helium (or other similar substances). Could be that this episode is based around Leonard and Sheldon's work.
