It's very sweet that JG as most of us wants a "formal" wedding or at least some sort of ceremony for Lenny. I know, I know, we know of her mom and aunts/great aunt, and she's a secondary character blah blah blah.... but we've met at least one parent of everyone else IN PERSON at least once. And for someone who came on the show so sheltered and socially inept it would be nice to know just a BRIEF explanation of why and whether or not there was a father figure in her life. Because if she had a father who left or who died, they've been wasting potential to have her relate to Sheldon or Howard with that storyline. I don't think I'm asking for a lot! lol but yeah I'm honestly kind of surprised that it hasn't been brought up when there are articles about "mysteries of the Big Bang Theory".... I think if he were not being paid the big $$$$$ .... there was a chance of this actor quitting the show..... I don't even want to meet her parents in person, a casual line with a hint whatsoever would be just fine for me. His father was never mentioned in the show, when Amy visits home, she says that she goes to her mother's, she asked Sheldon to meet (on Skype) just her and all her childhood memories are only about her mother and not more generally her parents. This makes me think that her father has always been out of the picture for some reason, but maybe it's not, who knows? as you told, she has never related neither to Sheldon nor to Howard with respect to their experiences with their own fathers. It bothers me that I don't know that aspect of her life. Really, I get that she is a secondary character and that story-wise is more interesting to meet Howard's dad at this point (n connection with Bernie's pregnancy) or Leonard's dad (a new storyline for Leonard, which is a primary character).
