I would prefer it not mentioned period simply because it would take away from the main story. Well, with Leonard's father in the finale, I guess there will be a new ceremony, with the information at our disposal right now it seems likely to me he will be in Pasadena for that reason. Lenny are already married, it's not like if the re-do has eventually some awkward moments due to Leonard's parents fighting it will be the end of the world! Also Howardette's wedding had its "moments", but it was sweet...By drama, I mean something like last season finale, with everything out of place at the end of it. As for Raj, I agree with you, his storyline is boring and frankly I would have preferred they already closed it. But, as it is, they have to close his season, too...so IMO some parts of the finale will be devoted to him. Jonny Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 (edited) It would be good to see a renewal of vows between Leonard and Penny as I wasn't a fan of their vegas wedding. There was too much tension going on in the background with the Shamy split and some tension between Leonard and Penny about the Mandy Chow kiss. Plus it will be good for all the gang to hopefully be there and celebrate the wedding together this time. Hopefully Leonard finally gets the approval and love of his parents. It sounds like his mother is the one pushing for a re-do wedding, and maybe his father finally realizes he should have been there more for his son. If they want to add drama to the affair I hope it's for Raj, like other posters have said maybe both Emily and Claire turn up, they get to know each other and then both dump him in front of everyone. Raj then decides to fly back to India to lick his wounds, hopefully coming back next season showing a bit more humility and maturity. I just hope we don't get either if them hesitating on saying 'I Do' or any surprises like the kiss on the boat or even some secret about Penny. The amount of air time that the writers have, they should be advancing other story lines instead of rehashing old ones. Well, unless tptb are going to surpass us with some other guest-star, maybe it has something to do with the actor playing Penny's father being busy elsewhere and with he fact that the show usually introduces family members for the main cast one by one...so given that they have decided to introduce Leonard's father this time, they could have decided to "save" Penny's mother for next season. I think there will be a sort of explanation for their absence during the episode....In general, having a wedding with a lot of people and all parents there is a big effort for a show, especially a sit-com like TBBT; for Howardette's wedding, Bernie's mother was there off-screen, for example. Where are her parents? Mary is also suppose to be on the finale. While it was very nice we found out about this wedding redo there seems to be a lot more questions than answers. Was Bernadette and/or Amy an influence in the decision? Why did Stuart have to stand in line for Sheldon? Why was Beverly there to begin with? Did Leonard know she was coming? A poster had a friend who went at the taping and she gave her the few information that already are available (we thank the poster for sharing with us, of course). Or Shenny time. Howrd & Bernie have had a major development (pregnancy) and a good amount of people either want Raj to die or pay for dating two girls at the same time. Maybe the last episode is setting up the redo for the new season. They are just gathering. Then they have the hiatus to get back Penny's father and find her a mother. The cliffhanger may be that before he gets married (again), Leonard goes missing skydiving.... oh wait, that's Uncle Joey. Oh well. Them being divorced and forced together could put the angst in the wedding. i can just picture the tag scene of Leonard and Penny in bed on their honeymoon. Penny: Well Sweetie after surviving the Mandy kiss revelation in our first wedding, then your parents in our second, I think our marriage can now survive anything. Leonard: I think you are right, but one thing, you know you forgot to have your father walk you down the aisle again. Penny making a face as Leonard's words sink in: Oh Balls!
