Nah, she smiled and gave him that look. She wasn't joking.

I've nothing against Leonard and Penny, and I wish the writers would give them a happier situation, but I honestly didn't hear any excitement, in the way Penny said "Yeah, go ahead."

Take a look at it again, and tell me if you honestly hear the voice of a woman, who's recalling a mind-blowing/earth moving/world rocking event.

Since shamy has only done it once amy will have to wait 365 days to see if the first time was just the excitement on finally doing it or if sheldon is constant

Well, I watched this scene plenty of times, because I like it so much. I'm still convinced that Penny's acknowledgement was honest. She just acknowledged in Penny-style.

In what world or universe does a virgin have sex for 3 hours nonstop. Oh yes TBBT. I guess 3 hours is equivalent of a year worth of sex for him while his girlfriend is as randy as hell waiting for her world to be rocked again.

You'd think if it took them three hours to finish, they must have had major problems. I think that's the joke behind it. Especially with a guy like Sheldon who almost collapses after "playing basketball" for a few minutes.

Wait, that happened?

Someone on the Shamy FB page has mentioned seeing a post from someone who went on the WB tour and said the sets were a fancy restaurant (presumably for a wedding reception), Leonard's bedroom and that Penny's apartment had been taken down and replaced with Howardette's kitchen.  There were some more sets around the back, but they weren't allowed to see them as they were being used.

I wouldn't read so much into that, just that they don't need 4B as a set in the finale, and instead they need Howardette's kitchen for some purpose. If I remember correctly, something like  that happened also in Season 8 finale; Amy's apartment (or at least the part of it that was visible during the Skype call) was in 4B. I don't think it's a definitive decision, they should always need 4B even after Lenny move out unless they are moving out from the building, which to me seems very unlikely.

It might only be temporary of course if they don't need it for this episode and needed the space.  But on the other hand it is or was a permanent set and they've never taken it down before.  When they did the Skype call in the Season 8 Finale they only re-dressed a section of it to appear to be Amy's apartment, as they only needed a backdrop.

I'm actually wondering if they're taken it down, so they can re-build it slightly differently to accommodate two people 'living' there instead of one.  The hiatus would give them plenty of time to do it as well.
