Leonard is making the moves to leave the apartment. I see it as a setup for a living arrangement episode coming up sooner rather than later. The mention of the issue puts it on our radars. I'm not sure about Penny's motivations, but I don't think she was being a monster or anything. They were just joking around, having fun. To me, Amy is obviously very reluctant to make any declarations that make her break up with Sheldon seem permanent and Penny is just trying to be a supportive friend.Thank you so much Trina for such a detailed report. Last night's audience would probably be surprised and confused to watch an episode where Leonard and Penny are already married. Those details make the show far more understandable and I think it will be an enjoyable episode. I still wonder if Sheldon is going to figure out he needs to tread more nicely with Amy after hearing about her mother. I really hope somehow that has an impact on him and that the writers didn't just do the "closet" story just for laughs and leave it alone. I think that is clearly a big issue for her and why she has a harder time asserting herself at times and explains her need for love and affection and acceptance by her friends. Wow...such a revelation. Denyy..just any perceptions you can give us from your perspective on 1) the girls' interaction, especially why they went along with putting Amy in Penny's closet; 2) where you think the story is going, especially for next episode and also for Shamy. Maybe Denyy had a different perspective than I did though. I was closer to the side of the girl's apartment. Kunal was joking about making sure we remembered that it was supposed to be a van when they were acting out the van scenes lol.
