I still can't believe I'm going to the taping tomorrow! Waiting for my flight to LA right now.  Thanks Michy once again for helping me experience one of the best days of my life for sure!

As it got closer to 830, the site was taking a long time to load between refreshing.  But I got 1 guaranteed and 1 standby.  I just got an email back and they have upgraded my husband, so I now have 2

Wow, 2L344 and is this your first taping?  Not sure I could stay away, being so close! It's 2.5 hours for me and requires at least an overnight and after going in Jan for the first time I'm already scheming how I can get back for more!

And yeah, I did 14.5 hours in a plane from LA to Sydney...that's kinda brutal.

Ok this might be off topic so I apologize, but I booked a WB studio tour at noon before the taping since it is only a three hour tour (Gilligan Island pun intended for those old enough to know)...does anyone know if the BBT stage is a part of that, and can we take pics on the tour?

Yes it's my first taping of ANYTHING to be honest and I've lived in California most of my life and my nephew is a TV actor lol! We live in the San Francisco area so it's not exactly close ( in my book) that's why I'm gonna take a short flight instead of driving the 7 hours there and book a room for the night, fly back the next day. I can't believe my luck on that ticket, very excited!

I flew a lot when I was in the Air Force (not as a pilot mind you lol), long flights are not a biggie to me as long as it's smooth. I mostly nap!

You can take pictures of anything outside in the WB lot or inside old sets like the Friends coffee shop,  but nothing inside the sets still in use. Let your tour guide know as soon as you meet them how big a fan of TBBT you are and how much you'd appreciate seeing that set. They have some discretion on which sets they visit.

Yay, so happy for both of you - serious shippers need to get in!  :-)

thank you!
A part of me is even grateful the process is such a mess tbh, at least people who are less obsessed won't bother lol, so more tickets for us crazy fans : D

I've never flown for more than 2 hours and I really want to come over (from Scotland) for a taping but it might actually kill me!

And it's kinda scary to fly over the Atlantic ocean : / at least for me lol.. I feel kinda safer flying over the ground lol. The longest i flew over water was over parts of Mediterranean for an hour or two...

I can 99% guarantee they will not be able to take you onto Stage 25 on a Tuesday/taping day, specifically because it is a taping day and they'll have production on the stage setting up for the episode. They usually can only get you onto the stage on a weekend because production is not there and so it's easy to bring tour groups through.

I will echo this.. Access to sound stages depend on whats happening on the day. Monday-Friday are production days so sound stages are in use.. Normally the only time you can view soundstage from the audience area is on a weekend. I always planned my visits on weekends to get onto 25 for set spoilers.

The tour itself is well worth the money, You'll enjoy it! Ive done it 5 or 6 times now..

I kinda figured that but oh well, never been on THIS studio tour so I'll enjoy it all the same. thanks for the heads up!

Hi everybody!

I would need some information about attending a taping of BBT. I was able to get two standby tickets for the 3/15 taping and I was wondering, what are the chances I won't get in? Since I'm from Italy it would be very disappointing to travel that far and not being able to see the show... Thank you all :)

Your chances are very good if you get there early. Obviously the earlier you go, the better your chances as you'll be closer up to the front. It does vary from week to week, as sometimes only a handful of standby get in, and sometimes 60+ standby get in. Usually anyone that gets there before noon has a good chance.

Standby for 3/15 are still up, by the way, if anyone wants them: http://www.tvtickets.com/fmi/tickets/addrecord.php

Thank you so much! Now I just have to decide if it's worth trying...

Hey everyone,

I am going to try to get tickets on Monday for the episode that will be taping on 3/22 as it will be during my spring break and I am trying to surprise my mom for a late birthday present. Would anyone be willing to help me get the guaranteed tickets ( or priority list) so that way we can do the tour of the warner brothers beforehand? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Guys, does anybody know - if you've made it to the priority list but got the 'error' message while submitting the form, do they still email you after a while saying you've got the ticket (knowing how much the site screws up and that nobody gets the automatic confirmation), or do they only reply to you if you've emailed them first?

It's just that I originally planned to go to 9x18 and 9x19 tapings, but my travel/vacation plans have changed and now I hope to go to 9x20 and 9x21 instead.

I've got the tickets to 9x18, 9x19 and 9x20 and all 3 times I have emailed them and they've replied... Now on Monday i'm gonna try to get the ticket for 9x21, and I just thought maybe I don't have to email them, maybe they just send confirmation to everyone? (before I assumed I have to email them first, otherwise I won't know if I got the ticket or not). It's just that if that's the case, I don't wanna be the only one who sends them emails obsessively every week haha...
(I'm sorry if it's a silly question, I just really don't know how it works!)

I'd love to help you out, but this week I'm gonna try to get a ticket for myself : (
But if you (or anyone else = ) needs help with any other week, let me know!

The tickets are released in the evening, not morning in my timezone, so it's not a problem for me usually.

With priority tickets, if we get there around four should we be ok to get in? We can't get out of work any earlier, but I'm worried we'll lose our spots...

Check in time is 5 PM...but if you can be there definitely by four you should be okay although you will likely be toward the end of the seating line for guaranteeds at that time (meaning your seats won't be front and center likely).   But all seating is a gamble because you don't know where they are filming and so everyone has a decent seat no matter where you are.   I would not want to get there any later than four though.   So if  you can be there definitely by four...you should be fine.

On my ticket it says that it is not a guarantee admission to the studio. But it doesn't say standby do I'm pretty sure it's priority but what does the admission to studio part mean? Is it for the show? Or to the Warner brother studio? I don't want to get there and not be able to get into the taping as I am traveling a distance.

standby tickets clearly say standby, so you have a guarantee.  And no, its to the studio, not the WB studio tour.  Its for the show
