Information For Attending A Big Bang Theory Taping

Recommended Posts

One of my lovely colleagues and his girlfriend are in LA and could make the 10/6 taping.

I'll go and try for them, they'll try and we'd appreciate any help we could get :*

I'll be there! (Helping, I mean, not at the taping.)

Hey fellow shippers.  I have 2 guaranteed tickets and 2 standby tickets available for the August 25th taping.  DM me with your legal name and email if you want them (and how many, need legal name for each ticket).  First come, first served.

Is that from two weeks ago? The ones that went up today were Sept 9, just FYI. :)

Hi guys!

Managed to get a hold of 2 standby tickets for the taping on September 9th today. I originally thought we had secured 2 guaranteed tickets as we did get a confirmation page saying "This is your ticket. Please print this ticket now and bring it with you to check-in on showday". This page however turned out to be blank (no ticket no., name etc.). Anyone who has experienced this before? Do you normally recieve a confirmation via email?

We´re from Norway. Norway you say? The place where Amy had a semester away and her so-called friends locked her in the sauna with a horny otter... ;-) We´ll spend 3 weeks travelling though California this August/September and will only be in LA for 3 days so as you can imagine our time there is quite limited. I would LOVE to get my hands on 2 guaranteed tickets - please do shout out if you have any!

If not I´ll guess we´ll try to be there as early as we possibly can despite our limited time in LA.. Attending a BBT taping would be a great LA memory :-)

Aaeiluj, welcome to the forum.  My daughter just spent a week in Bergen.  She was also there in May, as she is part of the entertainment for the Viking Ocean Cruise ship Viking Star.

They don't send anything via email unless the taping is changed. If you submitted via guaranteed and got a confirmation tab but no ticket to load, email AU and see if your names are on the guaranteed list. It's possible they went through but you just didn't get your ticket back in tangible form. The email is [email protected] Just explain what happened and let them know you're checking to see if the names are on the guaranteed list.

This is the first time I've seen this happen, but they did just revamp their site recently so it's possible it's still buggy. It happened to a few other people this morning as well. Just check with AU and see. :)

Thanks! Lucky her - Bergen is lovely! We live on the west coast of Norway as well, just a couple of hours from Bergen.

Thank you SO much! I just emailed AU and within a couple of minutes I heard back from them. It turns out that my S.O. had infact gotten a priority ticket while I was registered with a standby ticket. They apparently have a very limited number of priority tickets for situations like this when there may be one person in the party with a standby ticket so I was transfered to the priority check-in list!! Needless to say I´m thilled right now :D

Fantastic! I'm glad they were able to get you guys sorted out. You won't have a ticket for guaranteed, so just bring your photo ID to the line and let them know when you get there that you're guaranteed so they'll sort you into the right line and make sure you get checked in all right. :) Congratulations!

Yes, these are from the tickets put up 2 weeks ago for the taping on the 25th. They are NOT for the taping that went up for today on the 9th.

I might have guaranteed tickets left as three "materialized" when I was helping getting one.

So there are possibly two left.

As soon as I know I take DMs :D

Bill just told us to only go to one taping a season.  HA!!

1. thats new.

2. does that include VIP as well?

Also I wanna say that - not only but also - in response to Bill's snarky tweets I've now hooked up a couple (75 and 68) with my two spare priority admission tickets so that they can celebrate his 75th birthday there.

Take that Prady! -.-

The two guaranteed tickets have been claimed.  The standbys are still available.

Good luck. Not surprising since it's the premiere I suppose.
