Just bringing this back as I still have these tickets available: 1 guaranteed and 1 standby for the Aug. 25th (9.03) taping.

First person to DM with their info gets them.  Come on, you know you want them ;)

You should! We can at least try and get you tickets in case you're able to make it work. Which taping date is it?

Help for a newbie!!!

Hello, I'm going to try to get tickets to a taping.  Right now it's going to be me and my dad any mabie (possibly) my boyfriend.  IF HE DOESN'T COME (sad), I'm going to give the ticket to my brother if I even get thim.

This is what it says on the website:

"Sorry, tickets for THE BIG BANG THEORY are NOT TRANSFERABLE and we cannot make name changes (other than to correct spelling) on tickets ordered.

What do I do?  Do I get it in bf's name and then what?

Help!!

Uhhhhhh..... That's news to me. I wonder why there singling out BBT. What date are you trying for? If be happy to help get tickets. Your best bet is to get tickets for all four of you and then cancel anyone who doesn't end up coming. Man, what a a buzzkill, AU.

Wow very big change. I just checked and saw the same message and its not on any other shows. Might put a damper on the process but then we'll just have to help using actual names in advance then. Wonder how recent that change went into effect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've been following Bill's tweets about tickets, and I wonder whether this change is actually pushed by TPTB. I don't honestly understand what's their beef with people getting standby tickets to go to multiple tapings. They're not taking anybody's seat, they're simply taking the seat of people who didn't bother to show up in the first place, so, obviously, TBBT tapings aren't high on the list of priorities for many people who get tickets and then don't bother showing up. Not to mention repeated attendees are what? 2-3 people out of an audience of 200? I'm frankly rather disappointed by Bill's attitude on the matter.

Sorry if this rant is OT, but I've been getting quite annoyed at those tweets this week, and I've never even been to a taping!

Whats ironic is that I remember for my January taping there were empty seats. And the AU website clearly states when tickets are available so I don't understand those who complain that they are always gone when they haven't really tried. Its like any tickets you have to jump on them the minute available (for anything in-demand). But regardless it changes the whole process for our community Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sad to say Koops, but I think only thing there's behind this is poor attempt to prevent spoilers. People who goes to so many tapings are BIG fans, big fans tend to talk about show much, being part of many fandoms and sharing their excitation, with spoilers out there. Simple as that. I guess Prady think without those fans, amount of spoilers getting on the public will lesser. That notion that those fans are taking seat of someone is silly IMO. Everybody has the same chance to get tickets. If the who goes first time would want, they would do just the same thing frequent visitors did, and get there like anybody else. There's no way anybody would take someones place. And Standby's? Well, it's like you said. I'm not so happy with Bill's attitude in this situation either, and I feel bad for those who now feel unwelcome to see their favorite show, the more when those are people who are helping others all the time, not just to get tickets, but giving advices on every little thing that goes with the process. I hope they will not take his tweet too seriously. It's their favorite show, and until there will be strict rule "carved in the stone" I would just go and enjoy. I would say there's just two years, if you have opportunity, don't waste it just because one silly tweet.
