Calif (the OC) and for the very first time, I am going to try to secure tickets this Monday morning (Aug 31). I've read thru the blog - thanks for all the info!!! I plan to start online about 7:45 am on Monday morning. I need 2 tickets (hopefully guaranteed, cause I'd never get my husband to agree to wait in line all day like you die-hards!!!!)Any particular tips for getting the tickets? There are often members on this site in the chat room who are willing to hep try and get tickets for those trying to get multiple guaranteed. I myself have a flight tomorrow so I may or may not be able to get on from my phone to try and get tickets, but hopefully other members will be available to help out. Good luck! Anyone have success this morning getting tickets?So far, other than the fact that their site really still sucks for lag on ticket release, the changes are all helping. I did a little experiment this morning to see how easy the site would be accessible and approximately how long tickets would be up (both guaranteed and standby) to see if the new name changes rules might affect things.Site lag was bad but it did seem quicker and in my case, only showed an error message once, and that was just before tickets first went up.Guaranteeds were up on the site for nearly 10mins before running out.Standbys were up on the site for nearly 15mins before running out.So it looks like, if you're not particularly picky about guaranteed or standby that tickets are a bit easier to get now. The fact that they're now sending email confirmation is excellent too (no more wondering if it went through or not!) kerrycec03 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 (edited) I had no luck with guarantees as I was stuck in "loading" mode with two different screens for a while BUT would have had no issues getting standby tickets. I also know my company has been loading more programs on our server so that may have caused the slowness on my work end. The email confirmation is a long time coming and much needed improvement!! I just got an email back and they have upgraded my husband, so I now have 2 guaranteed to the 9/21 taping. We are excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's insane but nothing you wouldn't expect from the most popular show in America. I've looked around the TV Tickets website and clicked on all the available shows. TBBT is the only show where I have never seen any dates available LOL But could it also be possible that another reason it now takes more time for the tickets to run out is because the show's popularity is dwindling by a little?
