Apparently sleeveless red checked shirt for Penny and purple tshirt for Leonard is the clothing of choice for Lenny disappointing Sheldon. Virtually same clothes they wore in Season 7 finale! ( different pattern on Leonards shirt but....)

And Sheldon at some point wears the same black Flash T-shirt he wore when interviewing Leonard as possible roommate in Season 3...Very interesting wardrobe choices! It seems this episode is really a travel backwards in time....

Good episode I really didn't expect the living arrangements to change all that much I think the compromise Penny came up with was good as long as Leonard and Penny are sleeping in the same bed I don't really care  what apartment it's in

Good episode tonight with Sheldon suffering from revertigo and thinking it was 2003 again and I may be one of the few complainers over the living arrangements (ex: Sheldon moving into Penny's old apartment while Leonard and Penny stay in the apartment).

Great episode showcasing Raj and Howard.  Felt sorry for Sheldon when he said Amy would marry someone better than him.  Agree that Penny's solution about the living arrangements was good but of course I hope it isn't for very long.

All in all a very funny episode.  And the preview for next week looks awesome...

i loved loved loved this episode!!
like i know i'll probably sound too euphorical, but i literally loved everything about it <3

1. never cared for Sheldonette but they were cute!
2. Loved Lenny in this ep, how Leonard couldn't pick what to eat and just what to do without the regulations
3. Loved the Shenny friendship and how Penny cares for Sheldon
4. Loved how Sheldon compared himself to a dog
5. The RA termination scene was hilarious
6. I loved how Sheldon acknowledges he has feelings now... I was waiting for this scene since the TR, but it played so much sweeter and better on screen in my opinion.. like i don't know, it was just touching.
7. I love it whenever Sheldon turns into his quirky independent self and just does w/e he wants, not listening to anybody, just does what he thinks is right, i love his commitment and determination and complete ignoring of anybody's opinion and i missed this Sheldon a lot!
8. I was really skeptical about the whole band idea but i enjoyed watching Raj so much and even Howard (i don't always like him) and I CAN'T GET THE DAMN SONG OUT OF MY HEAD  NOW  (Emily would judge me :D )
9. AND I CAN'T GET STARTED ON THE SHAMY BECAUSE IT'S GONNA MAKE THIS POST WAY TOO LONG, but even in their short interaction i've liked so many things, and i like how they still talk and how there's this warmth between them, and to me their interaction was priceless
10. and omg the roommate interviewing scene!

First impression, a solid 7.5/10, only real down note the Raj and Emily scene was just an excuse to let us see Emily it serves no necessary story purpose and wasent funny. A waste of limited screen time which could have been used elsewhere

Penny living in 4A and being a full roommate can only be funny.  I think this living arrangement has set up the show for lots of laughs this season.  The band thing was funny, but I couldn't get into it too much, however the tag scene was funny watching the expressions of the gang as Raj and Howard performed.  I also got the impression that the Raj and Emily dynamic was different, for the better, she actually seemed sweet.

I would not go that far. It did not appeal to me either but it did set up the disagreement between Howard and Raj.

I enjoy Leonard and Penny's relationship very much.   They are so in sync with each other.   Married life suits them well.

What I enjoyed:

  • The homage to the Container Store.   I love that place.
  • Sheldon having Leonard relinquish his roommate key only to give it back to him as his neighbor.
  • Leonard's struggle with it being Thai food night, Penny trying to talk him into doing something else, then agreeing on Thai, and Leonard saying "good."
  • Sheldon admitting to his feelings and acknowledging Lenny's future in a nice house etc.   I loved the way he referred to Raj's body being buried somewhere by his weird girlfriend.
  • Enjoyed the flip phone.   That was funny.
  • I liked the way Bernie was 7th on the list of girls to talk to.   Goes to show that lack of priority is consistent, not just Amy.
  • Sheldon admitted that his relationship with Penny is strained, as it should be.
  • Loved the Howard Raj bro-fight and hug.  I like that the show continues to play on their bond.

What I disliked:

  • Amy is still showing no feelings or emotion toward Sheldon.
  • Seeing Sheldon's sadness literally made me cry.
  • Sheldon is still not living on his own.   The dog reference was on point, I must say.
  • Didn't care for the song too much.
