Very good episode. Loled several times. Thought the scenes with Sheldon and Lenny were very funny. Have to rewatch it to catch some of the lines again. Wish they could find a way to give Dave a recurring role, he's a riot. And I thought the ending was very sweet. Sheldon has really come a long way. The Howard/ Raj fan part was alright too. Like when there's only 2 plots. Guess it's hard for those who are unspoiled with CBS tripping over itself about next week. They sure don't want it to be a surprise.

Under the sub-heading of useless rock music trivia, I recognized the melody that Sheldon was singing immediately.  I kept wondering if they'd tell us what song it was (in case this melody appears in another song and I was wrong).  So I cheered when they played a snippet of the song.  Yeah, sometimes I get stoked about the silliest little things...

Best episode of the season.  Lots of laughs and loved all of it - Raj/Howard were funny, as were Lenny and Shamy were great!  Love how Lenny acted like proud parents.   So cute!  Dave was hilarious.   Excellent episode!

If you haven't seen the episode yet - DO NOT READ THIS!

***SPOILERS***

My favorite quotes from this episode:

"We both made mistakes; I took the last breadstick, you gushed over my ex-boyfriend like he was Leonard Nimoy and you were my ex-boyfriend..."

"Let me just check my schedule.... he said, trying to sound like a man with things on his schedule...."

"You're inviting him into your home. It's intimate. It's where your underpants live."

"It's like taking your driver's test in a bus..."

"Someday you're going to make an amazing grandma."

"Oh yeah, he got a tuba..."

"Dear crazy future Sheldon"

"The ideal setting is 72 degrees. If you find this too cold, then put on a jacket.... a straitjacket because 72's the best and you're crazy."

"It sounds mean but somehow you make it adorable."

"Sometimes he gets cranky, but you can trust him with your life, and he does more things for you than I can even begin to list"

"You're the lint trap of my love."

"Sorry! Sorry! No one's ever liked the tie clip before so I just lost all control!"

"No need to be nervous with me; I'm just a harmless giant from a foreign land."

"That's Sheldon" "YOU'RE KIDDING! HOW'S MY HAIR??"

and of course:

"Kiss her you brilliant fool!"

Writers were ON POINT this episode!!

(still not able to coherently express what i feel about Shamy and this episode overall, so i thought i'd just say this for now : D )

what happened to penny's apartment....

leonard and penny could not have the common sense to sleep in penny's apartment or go to her apartment........what a bunch of dumb idiots....

I don't think I have seen leonard in penny's apartment this season at all.....

and the reunion of sheldon and amy was so predictable and lame.....

sheldon getting stuck about his song and leonard and penny getting irritated..... that was the only joke in this episode and was repeated like 1000000 times....not funny at all....

howard and raj story line was pathetic....

a guy picks his nose...wow how funny... ...such juvenile crude humor....from what was supposed to be a "smart" show....

Just a horrible episode. Worst of the season. The Raj/Howard storyline was  just plain stupid and creepy. Stalking some groupie fan of theirs and being disgusted when he's picking his nose. Why is Lenny always living in 4A? Did Penny not renew her lease? Then Sheldon, who has no musical knowledge ( he didn't know David Lee Roth was in Van Halen) can't get a song out of his head. Then it magically relates to Amy. Then getting back to the groupie theme of the night Dave has a man crush on Sheldon. Then Sheldon shows and Dave is rooting them on to get back together and kiss. There were a couple funny moments unfortunately they were outweighed by the general stupidity of the episode.

Lol whatever Vasu your just trolling at this point.

BRILLIANT Episode. HILAROUS. Have not enjoyed an episode this much since S3. I thought the episode of Sheldon trying to figure out the song in his head. And then that loop into his brain, almost like it was CSI, was GENIUS. Penny was really funny, as was Leonard. Lenny were really cute in bed. I am loving how they are portraying Lenny as a young married couple this season, its so obvious they are so in love and married, and enjoying life. Yeah they could of gone to Penny's to get away from Sheldon. But A: It was night time B: They didn't want to and C: They were probably curious as to what song Sheldon had in his head. It's a comedy you learn to tolerat these things. And yes the Howard and Raj plot could be perceived as immature. But lighten up huh, yes they are adults. But they are also just two stupid kids, who are still into their gadgets and what not. IF I saw a guy picking his nose, yeah juvenile but the kid in me would laugh out loud lol. The Shamy reunion was really sweet. Not sure how one can call it predictable and lame. Yes predicatable in that they kissed like a conventional couple now, which what got me. Damn Sheldon has game lol. But the lyrics were not predictable. The lyrics to the song, that defined how Sheldon feels about  Amy was the unpredictable thing here. Sheldon understanding how Amy has made his life so much better, and he finally stood up after 5 years. I loved it. My fav bit of the episode though, was just before the Shamy reunion. Lenny's kiss :D. "You are the lint trap of my love" I have no idea what that means lol, but fav line of the season. After S8 awful episodes. I was not prepared for such a comeback, the writing has been excellent. First time since Season 5, where I can say I have loved every episode. And Dave your not going anywhere, he has been a breath of fresh air, somehow they need to give him a recurring role.

ETA: I voted Excellent for this episode. I understand some may think it was terrible. The beauty of perspectives.

1.) You saw it 2 episodes ago, jeez.

2.) They signed an RA agreement remember?

3.)  You're making this waaaayyyy too easy for me.  Apparently you conveniently forgot him being in her apartment in The Separation Oscillation & The 2003 Approximation.  Or you have a very poor memory.  Or you omit things from your criticisms in a pitiful attempt to strengthen your strawman arguments.

4.)  See what I mean about the poor memory?  You apparently forgot other things like the documentary Sheldon was trying to make with his phone.  And Howard and Raj stalking their only fanboy online.  Or again you omit things from your criticisms in a pitiful attempt to strengthen your strawman arguments.

Loved the over all tone of the episode. Laughed out loud several times. Every single actor contributed to that. Lots of cute moments too. Happy for the shamy shippers. But one thing rubbed me the wrong way (I'm guessing I am in the minority here) was Amy's hey sheldon rejected me so let's try again with Dave attitude! I understand that the base of their reconciliation was Sheldon realizing what he lost when they split and then getting more worked up when he realized she could be moving on but this just disappointed me as Amy seemed really desperate. Wish they would have handled that better. Other than that, fantastic episode. Day made!
