But random classic Simpsons quote aside, I assume Penny meant that her love was lint and Leonard is the lint trap that caught it.  Quirky but it works in its own adorkable way.

I understand what your trying to say. But this entire episode Lenny spent in  4A. You stated instances when they weren't but after watching ten episodes it feels lopsided towards 4A. In regards to RA IMO people think of that as a joke and pay little attention to that while watching the show. In regards to the documentary it was related to the song storyline. And the Raj Howard storyline IMO was pathetic. You can refute Vasu not knowing the facts and his wording can be overly harsh and negative but I agree with him that it was not a good episode. I do realize we are in the minority on this but many on here loved the episode before it was even aired.

BRILLIANT Episode. HILAROUS. Have not enjoyed an episode this much since S3. I thought the episode of Sheldon trying to figure out the song in his head. And then that loop into his brain, almost like it was CSI, was GENIUS. Penny was really funny, as was Leonard. Lenny were really cute in bed. I am loving how they are portraying Lenny as a young married couple this season, its so obvious they are so in love and married, and enjoying life. The Shamy reunion was really sweet. Not sure how one can call it predictable and lame. Yes predicatable in that they kissed like a conventional couple now, which what got me. Damn Sheldon has game lol. But the lyrics were not predictable. The lyrics to the song, that defined how Sheldon feels about  Amy was the unpredictable thing here. Sheldon understanding how Amy has made his life so much better, and he finally stood up after 5 years. I loved it. My fav bit of the episode though, was just before the Shamy reunion. Lenny's kiss :D. "You are the lint trap of my love" I have no idea what that means lol, but fav line of the season. After S8 awful episodes. And Dave your not going anywhere, he has been a breath of fresh air, somehow they need to give him a recurring role.

I don't know you much 3ku11 but from what i've seen on the forum you're really a hardcore Lenny and you don't really like Shamy and even you enjoyed this episode!

Some people just need to take a chill pill! 

I thought the same Lenny-wise (Shamy part i obviously loved since the TR ) - Lenny look so cute, a young married couple in love, i think they looked all season like that more or less (ok since e4), but esp. in this ep!

I even wanted to say in the Lenny thread idk why you guys feel Lenny has been neglected, maybe there wasn't a 'big', major storyline for them this season, but they just look so cute/on the same page/in harmony with each other , that (in my opinion) it's totally worth it!

i'm not a Lenny , and one of the main reasons for this is, in the past their relationship always seemed too unbalanced to me. Like that Leonard invested way more than Penny in their relationship, or something like that. This season however, i am liking them much much more, because they're constantly shown to be on the same page, equally in love, always getting each other, and Penny's shown to have insecurities too (and not just Leonard).

As a non-Lenny I can say that Lenny-wise it's my fav season, i totally love their interaction in each episode (and in this one in particular ).

-The RA can't serve a function BESIDES being just a joke?  Like when Leonard & Priya disputed it in season 4, or when Leonard knocked down his status as acquaintance in season 5.  Or about how Leonard got sick of it to the point that it caused him to leave for a short time in one episode in season 6?

-Only in the sense that Sheldon thought he was going crazy and that it also annoyed Lenny.  It was still a different joke IMO.  Whether Raj-Howards storyline was pathetic or not doesn't change the fact that it was a different joke.

It was funny: "Why are you so strong?!" "Oh yeah, he got a tuba." "You're my heartworm. The metaphorical kind, not the poodle-killing kind." "Kiss her, you brilliant fool!"

Sweet: "He is your best friend. You can trust him with your life. He's done more for you than you'll ever know."

"You're the lint-trap of my love."

Romantic: "I was living like half a man. Then I couldn't love but now I can." And of course, hot, hot kisses.

The Howard and Raj storyline was just meh, but I adored everything else!

Because just like the group rarely eats together things change. Lenny is married now. If things were going to Stay the same with them what was the point of getting married? You may be right in your instances about the RA but IMO it's time has passed too. I think I don't like the idea, and I have said it before, of Lenny ending up on their own only after Sheldon is ready for that.

I loved all these little Sheldon-vlog bits:

Telling himself that he can trust food from Penny and his gushing of how good a friend Leonard was - super sweet  

Bernadette was barely in the episode but still managed to deliver one of the funniest lines! "That's like taking your driving test in a bus!"  

I watched all of the Howard and Raj scenes through my hands  I quite like their band though, not sure why 'footsteps on the moon' are getting so much hate in the reviews tbh.

besides the bed scene ( which I liked but with Sheldon in the next room) Lenny was with Sheldon the rest of the scenes. kind of killed the cuteness with him there.

I liked it. The part that made me laugh out loud the most was the sound of Penny snatching the instrument away from Sheldon.

"Hey that's mine! WHY ARE YOU SO STRONG???" 

LMAO. 

Still enjoying married Lenny. They're as cute as can be. 

Shamy getting back together was sweet and I love how far they've come, but I still wish we had seen Amy on a date with a guy genuinely interested in her. I know she went on several dates so I'm gonna assume they didn't all have a crush on Sheldon, but I just felt bad for her. She's a great woman and she should get more attention. You could tell Dave was just waiting for her to mention Sheldon.

The Howard/Raj storyline was a bit creepy, but Simon and Kunal managed to make it adorable.

Penny has always been insecure when it comes to Leonard. She's always felt Leonard was way too smart for her. And while Leonard actively did more to get their relationship moving, it doesn't mean she didn't feel as strongly about him. She was clearly happy when things didn't work out for him and Leslie. That was episode 5, so they were on the same page very early on. The difference is that Penny was scared. Leonard was not as scared. And forgive me cause my memory in terms of Shamy isn't very good, but hasn't Shamy's relationship always been very unbalanced, too? Amy invested way more as well because Sheldon just didn't feel comfortable going at a faster pace. If a Shamy fan could weigh in on this, that would be nice. Again, my memory of them isn't as good.

I don't get why it matters Lenny are still living with Sheldon. Yeah I would like them living alone too. But that's not the show. They are the three stars of the show. Lenny choose to live with Sheldon, apart from the convenience, they signed a RA. Right now they cannot afford to live anywhere else, nor can the show. 4B is too small. Where do you want them to go? They have no other choice. So stuff like "All their scenes were with Sheldon". Well yeah that was the point. Lenny maybe married, but they ain't going to drive off into the sunset. And leave Sheldon and all their friends, like a reflection in their rear mirror. They still care about their world, they maybe the centre of the shows universe. But that does not mean, they are going to go off live in 4B. What Sheldon is going to all crazy in 4A, and no one to respond to him lol? Yeah that would work. Chandler and Monica didn't get married, and suddenly stopped hanging out with their friends. Nor did Joey stop being so attached to them. So what makes anyone think Sheldon is going to be less then a third party, is beyond me. Lenny had a cute bed scene, and delt with Sheldon as a team. In s3 it was generally like it is now, and its no different now. Other then Lenny being married now. It's a formula that has worked since the beginning. So its not like its a shock it is still continuing.

ETA: And forgot to say, Bernadette is continuing to get on my nerves. Just her reaction to Howard and Raj. Oh why would you be in a band. OH maybe I should just marry Trent. I don't think that was necessary. She looks at Howard, the way Lois looks at Peter in current Family Guy lol. Like shes already emotionally checked out of the marrage. Sorry Howard can do much better.

I really liked the episode and I'm happy Shamy are back together.. I felt a sweet sense of "coming home" from their reconciliation scene. Liked the Lenny balance of support and frustration with Sheldon and their loving, private moment on the couch. The funniest scene for me was Bernie advising Amy about inviting Dave to her house for dinner.I need this sign:"Home is where your underwear lives" to hang under "Home is where the heart is."
