SRAM
I didn't think this episode was very funny, it seemed forced. I understand they wanted to break up the couples, but it just didn't work for me. I hated how they all seemed to gang up on Stuart, they all actually acted a little like bullies to the poor guy.

And people want two more seasons. Not a good episode. Stuart at the end was plain dumb. The writers must Have had flashbacks to Speckerman. vonmar
To me, it really felt like that this episode was laying the groundwork fora few things... A living arrangements shakeup, in the next few episodes. Raj, maybe having his bubble burst? Howard growing up a bit more, appreciating what he has. I don't know...I'm going to have to watch it again, but to me it felt like a "building episode" if that makes sense.

I get what your saying but they have been laying the groundwork for practically the entire season. Till the hospital Raj was just plain annoying. I'm with sram that the whole episode seemed a little forced.

Leonard finally put his foot down, hard. It was weakly unspoken before. To me this felt like a push toward a change in the L/P/S dynamic.

camelliayao
Amy's facial expression was weird. It's like her mouth was saying that she's annoyed by how close Sheldon and Penny are but her face suggested "Whatever, couldn't care less"... Other than that, meh, it's not as bad as I thought but nowhere near good either. I wouldn't call it a Shenny episode though.

I liked the way some subjects got aired. It's so handy to have a spare apartment. One double and one single still works for three people - for now, but it looks as though it could come to an end. I didn't think the male banter about the bike was bullying. The way they were shouting up and down to and from the window like students on a campus reminded me how grown professional men can so quickly revert to their earlier selves. Pretty much how I would summarize it....a building episode....I hope it really does go somewhere though. Still unsure about that. It really wasn't very funny....but it wasn't horrible either. Just "meh" as camellia said above.

No, Amy is trying to make her point without saying the obvious, that Penny should not be living with Sheldon any more. She is dancing around the elephant in the room, but it is a bit difficult. Sheldon wakes Penny up in the middle of the night to talk about comic books, and not Amy. Just saying that part of the reason is because she is sleeping in the next room. ( Ever seen doctors at a conference ?) I just didn't get the point of the scene. I wouldn't consider the guys professionals although they dress like they did in college. Also I can't picture them doing that while they were younger. On top of that it just wasn't funny. The episodes are short enough you think the writers could of come up with something more creative(and funny).

But I don't think Amy was suggesting that Penny should move. She was just expressing her true feelings. Actually I feel proud of Amy, 'cause she stood up once for herself. She may not have the "ability" to change the living situation, but at least she got to speak her mind, unlike in 9x17 where she just stood there quietly. What an episode!! Jesus Christ!.. first off, what was the purpose of the "fight"? make it clear, confirm, remind for the umpteenth time that sheldon and penny have this "weird, twisted brother and sister" relationship? because we've seen, heard and felt that at least a couple of times every season and it's getting bored and tired.. and second..really? Sheldon, Leonard and Raj making fun of Stuart?? that wasn't funny at all, why do they always treat stuart like sh*t?.. my god! give the man a chance to be loved, included and accepted the way he is... BTW: penny should memorize her husband birthday instead of bothering in memorize "the roommate agreement pledge".. just saying Edited April 22, 2016 by Thyanic <
serena_1995
Sheldon loves Lisa Simpson. And he finds a guy hot on GoT. Who knew. Wonder how Sheldon feels about all the boobs and nudity on GoT ? Looks like he enjoys it. LOL. It was an okay episode.Except Raj, he is insufferable . And why are they so mean to Stuart ? Not funny. Bullying is never funny. Sheldon bullies Leonard too, Leonard usually fights back . But making fun of Stuart was so mean spirited. What did Stuart ever do to them ? Stuart is genuinely nice guy I feel, atleast better than Raj. 58 minutes ago, Lady in Red said: No, Amy is trying to make her point without saying the obvious, that Penny should not be living with Sheldon any more. It seems to me they would have a lot of compassion for him because he is always so down on his luck with finances and women both. They all know how it felt to be socially awkward and left out, so that is why I would like to see them realize that they used to be that way as well and show him some compassion. I think perhaps Amy wants both Sheldon and Penny to figure it out . But I agree..I would love to see her have a truthful conversation with both of them (probably individually).... A.D.A.
That wasn't the worst TBBT episode I've ever seen, but it certainly isn't on the rewatch list. The jokes fell pretty flat for me (let's just say I was done with Manbatman five seconds into that conversation) and otherwise it was all the characters at their most unpleasant. Not really a fan of them scratching away at Amy's and Sheldon's ever-shrinking list of similarities, either (last episode was so good about making it feel like there are reasons the two are a couple); that's not even to speak of Lenny. The situation didn't even get resolved in any way and though I'd like to believe it is building up to something... well, continuity has never really been this show's strength. On that note, we already did the Men Also Have A Hormonal Cycle joke - last time, it was Sheldon's, but it was also about Howard and Raj. And the end scene with Stuart on the bicycle could have been funny if those were just friends messing around; but Stuart has always just kind of been a hanger-on to their group who can't really be expected to be invited to everything and we know he has zero social grounding otherwise, too, so it just felt like kicking the dog that's already limping.
