They wrote an article about a show that they are not at least regular viewers. Who could a tbbt viewer forget  about the geologist Bert? :)

I could even understand it if they don't remember him from S6/7 - but the guy was on the show just two episodes ago!!?!? Quality journalism right here! LOL

I don't know if this is allowed--BlastingNews claims they got the synopsis of episode 6 on 10/17/16 from CBS.  Penny is asked to be a guest at a comic-con.  Howard & Bernadette finally feel their baby kick.  Amy & Sheldon hold a brunch in their apartment. (My comment;  the people shown at the brunch are Amy, Sheldon, Bert, Stuart, and a previously unseen woman-NOT Amy's parents.)

This is where the site @Vittoria Jacoel posted got their information from.

LOL, that sounds as if they copied it from our summary taping report.

Wouldn't be the first time.

Sigh, yeah, it happens quite a bit.  Spoiler TV has linked a TR from TBBT Wiki, who had done nothing more than copied it straight from a post here.   If we don't have explicit permission from a report off of this site, I will put a link in, but won't do a straight copy and paste.

They do provide a link to the original site.

TBBT Wiki currently has an episode description of The Fetal Kick Catalyst, that is word for word, of a post here, with no attribution, no links.   Spoiler TV earlier this year, was providing a link to TBBT wiki, whose episode description (prior to CBS releasing it) was word for word from a TR post here.  If they are now providing links, to original sources, instead of sources that have been copied from original sources, that is good.

I agree on the remarks of Season Ten. They tuned me out in 8 and 9. But Season Ten imo has beeen OUSTANDING. Alot of the charm to me of the show was the girl next door. My avatar is so, because I feel the core of the show was Penny. I feel she has returned, she felt bored, and domesticated the past few years. She has returned to young, hot, fun Penny. And the writing has improoved out of sight. Still wish they would do more with Lenny. But Lenny at comic con sounds very intriguing. Be refreshing to see them do their own thing, we have seen Penny in Leonard's world of physics alot of times. Other then Season 7, have not seen Leonard in Penny's world. But also kinda worlds colliding, because you got Penny basically part of Geek Culture now, with the cult success of Serial Apist. This could end up being the best Season since Season 6, if consistent. And Rival Season 3 for me, as the best ever. Emmy worthy IMO.

Guys, do you think season 10 will really be the last season? Or so far it's just about rumours?

If it is true that the actors want it to continue, then it is up to CBS to be willing to pay the increased production costs for the next season due to salaries increases.

Truth be told I'm feeling less confident than I was. I think it obviously comes down the salaries more so I would add about what Mayim and Melissa are getting imo. They both seem to be getting big storylines with major development implications for the show and other characters, Shamy possibly living together permanently plus possibly getting engaged and Howardette with a baby on the way. If I was Melissa's or Mayim's agents I would be pointing that out in the negotiations. Quite frankly they deserve a bigger raise in my view than the main cast, without them we wouldn't even have a Season 10 and possibly beyond.

That's a reasonable thought.

They seem to be in a pretty strong negotiating position right now with the way the storylines have and are continuing to pan out. Of course they might be giving them both more prominence because this is indeed the last season...

Which I really hope is not the case, not after some of the changes and freshness that Season 10 seems to be bringing.

Considering they told Kunnal and Simon to take it or leave it in the last negotiation, and told Jim to take it or leave it back during the renegotiation after season three, not sure "good negotiating position" really means that much.

Showing my age here, but ever since they swapped out Elizabeth Montgomery's husband in "Bewitched" and Samantha never noticed it was a totally different actor, I've know that everyone is expendable in the TV world.

So if Bernadette has her baby in Season 10 but Melissa and the powers that be can't come to a decision and she doesn't return what is going to happen in Season 11? They just going to write her and the baby out? Kill her off and have Howard bring up the baby on his own (way too heavy for a sitcom imo). Recast her?

Normally I would agree with you, but with the prominence of certain storylines this season I think some actors may hold a bit more power than usual. Unless of course this is indeed the last season.

But you may be right, they may offer take it or leave it deals and deal with the consequences after if the actors don't commit.

Or not....:

In a very special episode of The Big Bang Theory - Bernadette and Amy are trapped in an elevator when Bernie goes into labor. Amy attempts to deliver the baby, but Bernie dies during child birth. With her final push, the baby shoots out at high speeds, hitting Amy in the head, killing her instantly. The elevator is fixed. The baby survives. Howard is a single dad.

Brings Howard's story around full circle. Single parent raising a child alone. Solves the pay raise problems.

Not feasible? Charlie Harper was kept in a deep well, in a dungeon basement for four years, got out and got killed by a flying piano as he was finally going home.

In your example, they could simply have Bernadette and the baby off to take care of an ailing family member in another part of the country.   Howard devotes himself to perfecting the Bernadette love robot in his spare time.  Laughter ensues.

So many possibilities in TV Land.

You forgot Raj dying in an I'll advised rescue attempt and Sheldon having his long overdue meltdown.

New on CBS The Big Bang Theory: Life with Lenny

Raj (Kunal) isn't going anywhere. He's currently making $20mil a season. Priyanka Chopra is only making $4mil a season and she's the star of her show.

If they can tell Jim to take it or leave it, which would have basically taken him off the show after season three, I don't think there would be a problem adjusting for either Mellissa or Mayim's departure.
