By the sounds of it they came up with the idea, they decided what they wanted in this RA ( I can imagine he went to both of them saying what do you want me to put in it) and he just typed it up. Well, the TR states it was their idea and they think it looks great, so I guess that's all that matters. (I don't think they'd be saying it looks great if stuff like "no sentimentality" was in there.) So yeah, whatever floats their boat. If they're happy with that, I'm happy too. But please, show us some of that recalibrated romance. I want to see some results. 13 minutes ago, April said: Okay, I'm not sure if that helps but whatever: What is a contract? At its core the most important part of a contract is that it is a mutual agreement between two parties. Marriage is a contract. Now, the RA as such is a commitment in writing in which Lenny agree to certain terms and conditions to improve their relationship. There is nothing unhealthy about figuring out what doesn't work in a relationship and try to correct course like they do with this. Naturally, the joke is in writing all this shit down and actually sign it, but if you think about it couples do this all the time. Really. As for "punishments" or whatever: that would be negotiated as well. When Sheldon missed a couple of date nights he had to make up for them later. Simple as that. Lenny can come up with their own solution. Again, a contract is a mutual agreement and it was their idea so I take it they're serious about their commitment and devotion to each other here. It'll take some time to get my head around that.
