That he gives her gifts not for her enjoyment but just for his own ego boosting? I just don't see that... and I really don't consider myself to be a viewer who would get excited if Sheldon gave Amy a stick from the yard (to paraphrase another poster). Sheldon has gradually become someone who (like Amy) saw no benefit in being with someone to a person who is now undeniably in love. We don't get hardly any gang scene in 4a and Lenny in 4a last about 10 seconds or longer if Shamy are there so I guess now it make no sense being there. Or maybe the lenny bits are funnier so they are keeping it under wraps until aired. I doubt it tho.
