That was never established in the show. Raj said nobody was asking too many questions, which does mean he didn't tell them they weren't exclusive. Claire wanted to know if she was the only one and tricked Raj into telling her. She wasn't happy with the answer. No clue about Emily, but we might infer that the same thing held for her. You can't casual dating your ex girlfriend for 2,5 years if she is in love with you and you are not. It's immoral and deceiving, in my book.

Agree! That's why I think it is about time Raj would get a lesson for all mess he has done. As I have said earlier, imo Raj didnt show any sign of really loving Emily and in my book is totally wrong being with someone  for have a girlfriend like everybody else he knows.

Obviously he can't be taking about the Shamy storyline. Unless he think the audience is a bunch of morons.

It's sad that they now speak for the fans and because they think it funny, everyone else will. It's like telling someone a joke and laughing at it because you think it's funny. Doesn't mean the person found it funny.

Watch the episode again. Tptb wanted the audience to know both knew about each other. Both women's body language gave it away that they knew. And when Claire found out she still continue dating him.

What on earth are you talking about? Emily wasn't even in those episodes - neither when we found out he somehow ended up dating both women, nor when Claire found out. And this was really one of my biggest gripes about this: We don't know what the girls truly think cause we only have Raj's word that they agreed on casual dating and "not asking too many questions". That is literally all. In 9x22 Claire didn't know about any other woman he was actually dating. We also never really found out what she thought about that cause that storyline ended right then. I guess seeing that both women dumped him they weren't happy about the arrangement.

I disagree. I think they both knew and were happy to date him. Nothing wrong with that. Like a said their body language give it away. Raj even said something to Emily while she was crying on the phone hinting he was with someone else.

All he said on his tweet was that it was "his" favorite this season. I think its a big distinction between" his" and "the".

I am pretty confident it won't hit the heights of Veracity Elasticity despite not having seen it yet. Veracity was the best all round episode they have done in a long time imo.

Though I guess I will wait and see what I think of this one and if Prady is right or not.

That doesn't make any sense cause he wasn't dating Claire at that point. Honestly, I think you're misremembering how this whole thing went down.

9x15 Raj dumps Emily, tries to date Claire but she turns him down, Emily doesn't take him back

9x18 Raj gets a present from Emily who wants him back, he's on the way to her when Claire calls and asks him out, he's going a bit back and forth between the girls but while he tells Claire that he's on his way to Emily he never tells Emily about Claire, he ends up in bed with Emily

9x21 we find out Raj somehow dates both women, he's an obnoxious douche bragging about it the rest of the episode

9x22 after Leonard specifically asked if the girls know about each other Raj explains that they're not exclusive and don't ask too many questions, Claire doesn't know Raj is seeing someone else but eventually finds out the truth

Rewatch the episodes or read the transcripts if you don't believe me. But there really wasn't anything. If it were 3 adults consenting to this 3-way thing then by all means, go for it. But the show told us that no, the girls didn't know. Not even Claire who should have easily been able to put two and two together and suspect that he might still see his ex, and she could have been totally cool with that. But we didn't even get that.

So the episode should have under 3 laughs?

April is correct in the facts. Claire tricks Raj into finding out in 9X22. I will say though you would think Emily would of figured out being dumped on Valentine's Day there must of been someone else. And I think Claire put together the Valentines Day break up in her questioning in 9X22

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but I still say there were hints that both girls knew or suspected what Raj was up to. I may be getting my episodes mixed up but both were suspicious at one point. Just because Raj told the gang they didn't know about each other doesn't mean he was right. He can't read minds or what the girls were thinking. To me, we the audience knew what they were thinking more than Raj. Hence why I said they knew something was up and still wanted to date him. And like you said that story ended suddenly and we don't know why they ended it. Just Raj's pov which could have been
exaggerates to make him look good. Still don't think he is a douche.

If (and this is a big if) Raj is correct in saying him and the women are not exclusive, then I can't see how it can be a problem.  If the women agreed they and Raj are not exclusive, then they can't complain about his seeing someone else, just like he can't complain about them seeing someone else.  They may not know if he is, but if they aren't exclusive, I don't see where they can complain about it.

Now, if Raj wasn't correct in saying they aren't exclusive, then there would be a problem, for either of the women.

There is literally no line of dialogue saying or hinting that the girls knew anything. Really. I'm not making this shit up to win a silly argument on the internet. By all means, go and find that line that proves you right but it will be a futile endeavour.

At most we have Claire suspecting in 9x22 that Raj might see someone which then leads to the reveal when she finds out. But that is literally all and her reaction shows that she didn't know for sure.

I can see that they might have agreed to non-exclusive dating, but the whole "don't ask too many questions" and secrecy is the big problem that most here have. If this was an honest and open arrangement then sure, why not? They are adults they can do what they want. But we don't know how much the girls were aware of what was going on. If the show had made that clearer the reaction would be different.

When does the show make anything clear. Like I said you just have to look at their body language, suspicious faces and Raj's bad lying and how it played out to know they knew. It just another sexist thing about the writers that women are dumb. Just like the girls were fine with him dating 2 girls even though they knew Emily.

The girls seemed to all get along. There seemed to be no Penny/Emily conflict. They were doing movie nights. It was all odd the girls were siding with Raj.

Again, Emily literally wasn't in those episodes so no way to judge her body language. Claire acts like she's suspecting something in the very episode she finds out because, well, that is the point of the plot. Before 9x22 we got nothing. We didn't even know about the non exclusive agreement so for the longest time it looked like Raj was just straight up cheating on both. His behaviour wanting to keep Emily a secret from Claire and begging the gang not to say anything certainly didn't make him look better. Ugh.

Yeah, I can agree that was some major BS!

Nope. It was Halley who they were talking about.

Again I'm talking about episodes where Emily or Claire or both of them were in. And if you can't see it. Because no dialogue was used to prove my point. Then no point carrying on with this discussion. Sometimes actions speaks louder than words.
