Penny suggested Sheldon cares enough in that instance, to ask what she ate at the girls night. ITs an extreme way of getting a point across to Leonard, that even relationship handicaped Sheldon is self aware. But like I Said, every single time their is a vague scene or line. We have LEnnies who are actually Leonard fans and leNNYS who will back penny as well as Lennie's who love them both. We aren't mad at the characters we are mad at the writers because bottom line they are fictional characters not real people they can and do say or do whatever TBTB write them to and they are slowly at first but with more gusto now destroying what they have created. Penny has taken Leonard for granted way more times and leonard has put up with more penny crap than most men will put up with. Well to be fair. Seeing they have both openly mocked the idea of a RA in the past, so therefore OOC. I Don't get why they need to ask Sheldon for help. I mean I Would understand in the past when Sheldon asked Lenny for help with Amy. But Lenny have tons of previous experience from their past relationships they could draw from. Penny could draw from the guys who treated her badly. And realize shes luckey to have Leonard, and maybe she needs to work harder too. Leonard could draw from his relationship with Priya. And realize the love he has for Penny, and doesen't want to lose that, so he needs to step up too. While I agree, Sheldon moving out, does not mean they cut ties completely. In this instance. After making fun of any kind of agreement (relationship, roommate) for years, the acceptance of one, no matter who writes it, is OOC for them, they way I look at it. The only purpose, I can see for the RA is to bring more Sheldon into the show. Why have Lenny solve their problems when you can bring in Sheldon? Is I don't think fighting means they are not happy. Nor do I Think being happy, or showing them happy means they are happy. Lenny have never been written like a fairytale. They have always been realistically written. So you know, I don't think we should expect Lenny to be la de da, drinking coffee at Central Perk. This is Real Life . This is Lenny were talking about. Lets not be selective about it though. Veracity Elasticity. Lenny were portrayed very much in love, in the episode where she storaged Leonard stuff. The end scene, that did not show up in the TR. A sweet moment, where Penny told Leonard she loves him, and they hugged. So who knows. TR are vague. So I am willing ti give it a chance.
