Not including during their breakup, they've had a few episodes involving Amy, where Sheldon hardly featured in her scenes.

In real life married couples might stay in their first apartment a few years. In the really of the sitcom changing the locale changes the dynamics of the series. All of the main characters are still in the same building and will probably remain like that until the show ends.

This sort of thing is slow-moving. I don't know what Penny expects : she's the one who said 'Some nights we'll sleep over here,' and somehow morphed that into living with Sheldon. The only one who's even hinted Lenny might want to move into a bigger place is Sheldon when he was bewailing the changes it would mean in his own life. 4A is still something between a thoroughfare and a social club. Dr Gallo or some sort of counselling might help her to get  a better gestalt on her situation and enjoy her life more.

Rajesh, OTOH, can perhaps be taken somewhere. He has to learn to be an adult, just as Sheldon is doing, albeit from a different place. Sheldon acknowledged what he had to learn and set about learning it. Raj saw himself as a victim with 'diagnosable psychological problems' and is only just beginning to realise that he needs to take control of his life. His journey, I hope, is going to be fun to observe. Sheldon has someone to pat him on the back and encourage him. Who'll do that for Raj ? That remains to be seen.

Think you are right. Believe they do have something in mind for Penny.  As I recall before this season began the producers said they may have a career change in store for Penny.

But as of the first episode she said the company gave her a better territory.  Maybe they will give her a promotion. I thought that maybe she wanted a baby but that was before the news of a renewal, so now it may be something else in store.

I would really like to but I don't think we will. The Shamy split was a golden opportunity but it was done 95 % from Sheldon's point of view. That pretty much tells you what the writers think of Amy. A pity indeed.

Lenny don't need to move forward. They did that in s6. 

This. What "moving forward" do people want? They're married, they live together, they both have good jobs. I think they've reached the end of their storyline. Actually, most of the characters have. All that's left for Shamy is an engagement. Howardette have nothing left, really. They need to focus of Raj, now.

What I want to see for the next (last) two seasons, is just them having fun. Something akin to scavenger vortex and reentry minimization.

I want things to happen in Lenny's marriage, just don't stand behind the kitchen island and looking cute or some fight over something ridiculous.  

There are so many options the writers could do with Lenny but absolute nothing happens.

Imo I think the writers have run out of ideas for Lenny. Their story ended after they got married. I think they are attempting to focus on other characters ATM. I mean pacing Maybe off since season 5 tbh. As theirs 7 characters. 3 couples. They seem to struggle to accomodate all the characters. And find that balance. So that's part of the reason imo, why Lenny are not at the forefront of the show anymore.

And I don't think their fights have been uneccessary. They have been typical married life fights. So I don't think they are random all anything. But they don't lead anywhere. Next episode Lenny are happy and fine. Tbh though this season since they changed the LA. Lenny have in a way become forefront in 4A. Even if most of the time they are not the A story. They feel the centre of the show. I do agree with the notion though. They just need to portray a happily in love married couple. And imo I think generally they've done a good job with that. It's not Season 6 anymore. I just think theirs other stories to tell with the other characters now. So I agree Lenny are at the end of their storyline. Tbh it feels Leonard's ready to drive off into the sunset. So In Season 11. Would love just some fun plots. Lenny don't need any serious movements. Or big story archs. Just some  fun married life plots.

Imo I think the writers have run out of ideas for Lenny. Their story ended after they got married. I think they are attempting to focus on other characters ATM. I disagree. So because they are married their story ends. Wow. I think as a married couple there is a lot to explore. It's just easier to write shamy than lenny and the writers have chosen the lazy option just like the writting. Looks like fans are bored of the same old and have sussed this out. According to the latest ratings. Hopefully it will continue and wake up the writers to remember the show is called The Big Bang Theory. Not The Sheldon Show.

I wonder when Bernadette will return to work... As episodes in season 5 suggested, she was keen on having Howard stay home with their baby. Perhaps an upcoming episode this season will tackle this looming question. Maybe Stuart can do some part-time sitting at the comic book store. I can see the writers having Raj and/or Stuart using the baby to meet women.

If Lenny storyline is over so is Howdette's. They have repeated the Shamy once a year coitus numerous times. If they can't write a Lenny storyline maybe they need some new writers.

I'm not sure why they don't just make Stuart move in with Raj to help pay rent. Now his Fathers not supporting him financially. Although I could care less about Raj. I like the tptb are finnally adrsssing the issues with the character. And giving him more stories. I could see Raj and Stuart using the baby (We have yet to see btw) to meet Woman. Like Joey and Chandler did lol. Seems to me they well be changing Penny's career or giving her a promotion. I would like to see Penny involved more at work. And coming home and see how that effects their relationship. That seems more believable then Leonard playing video games.

Looking at it from the Tptb perspective. They may possibly think that Lennys storyline has ended. Would explain a lot.

Then I wish they'd write them off. If there's nothing left to tell then why bother paying 2 actors 2 million per episode?

They don't, the studio does not the network. How much screen time the execs choose to give J and K, is  a separate matter.

In any case. The only real storylines left for Lenny. Big archs. Is Penny pregnant. And that we'll most likely happen at the very end of the series. So they maybe dragging things out. Like some said Lenny are the nucleus of the show.

It looks as though Howard's idea to raise money so they can afford for him to stay at home has backfired because he's needed at work. Bernadette doesn't seem as resentful at being a mother as she expected to be. I too have been wondering how they're going to resolve the issue. At the moment she's only just up to getting dressed to go out for an evening; work may be a step too far right now but a decision has got to come soon. Yes, a baby as a way to meet women is better than a dog. I see some fun there, whether Bernie goes to work or not.
