@heres2U thank you so much, you are a star !! It sounds a fab episode !

It was a fab episode.  So much going on with all the guest stars!  But it all seemed to flow, and everyone did a great job.  Very few flubbing lines.

Thank you so much, @heres2U!!

This is basically everything I wanted from this wedding redo! The family chaos isn't taking over the whole ep, we actually get to see the redo and lots of Lenny sweetness. And even some Shamy fun on top of it! Well, done writers!

@here2U, thanks so much for your report! It sounds so great!

It seems to have everything I hoped for the première, with the extra of jealous Sheldon! Cant wait for watching that :)

Was Amy wearing the tiara ?

Was either of Raj's girlfriends with him ? Did he arrange a party ?

No Amy was not wearing the tiara as I recall. I don't remember a girl with Raj .

Also guys I added an important line to the TR.  when they are having pillow talk in the first scene. Sheldon mentions it is weird they are living together

Oh, Sheldon, you are almost there, hehe! I like that! :D

Just hope it might not be one of those scenes they decide to cut in tv version, as they did in scene of ep 11 where shamy cuddled after sex. They wont do that, for our sake, surely :)

Thank you!!

Weird for grown man to life together with a married couple? You don't say! A fault confessed is half redressed, eh? Makes me hope that this means LAs are on the writers' agenda, despite the weird threesome marriage thing. They are such scaredy cats about breaking up the big three but at the same time they are getting closer to that one baby step at a time. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the info heres2u, sounds like a fun and sweet episode.

By the sounds of it has a bit of everything. From a sweet Lenny re-do this time in front of their family and friends, Shelnard bromance, some cute Shamy scenes, Parental drama but not too big, some nice parental interaction between them and their children/children's partners, get to learn more about Penny's family etc.

Can't wait to see it and by the sounds of the TR's so far it sounds like a strong start to Season 10 and back to more overall comedy and less drama.

Thanks, here's2u!

well, the show giveth and the show taketh away, eh?

on the upside:

HARP! EEEEEEEE!

'You don't know his girlfriend very well, do you?' Oh, how I cherish these reminders that Amy is a weirdo in her own right!

what seems like a proper wedding redo! Lenny basically enjoying their wedding with hopefully minimal distractions from the family and other animals!

'take a cold shower, grandpa. She's mine.' Ah, the return of Jelly!Shelly. I am tempted to also put this in the 'downside' column because this, too, is an old, reliable trope. But hey, I'll allow it. (Or do I?...Yeah, I do. Go on, show.)

obvious fakeout of Mary and Alfred sleeping together was, in fact, a fakeout!

on the downside:

alfred and mary are 'continuing' their 'relationship'. Thereby leaving open the option for leonard and sheldon to freak out about being stepbrothers. Again. Some more. eesh, it seems like they could have found a better way than this to have the option of Judd Hirsch coming back. He's Leonard's father, show. Beverley doesn't need to be banging anyone to make frequent appearances. Her relationship to one of the show's leads is sufficient. Is it weirdly feminist that Alfred's reappearances need to be 'excused' in this manner, while Beverley's don't? (Unlikely, I know).

Sheldon gets up to make a speech about someone important to him. Amy, having apparently sprung newborn into this season without ever having watched a single episode of television, is literally the only person to think he refers to her, gets her hopes up, and of course is hilariously disappointed. Show, this joke pulls off the impressive balancing act of being stale, unfunny and nasty, all at the same time. It has no redeeming features. And yet, some variant of it will, I assume, despoil our screens for many an episode to come. Whatever did we do to deserve it?

the show has Sheldon apologise to Mary and not to Amy. There seems to be little point to this other than to diminish Amy's importance in Sheldon's life. To be clear, I am NOT of the opinion that Sheldon can only ever be allowed to listen to, or respect, or value, Amy. Of course not. Equally, i get that Sheldon will still have moments if being a jackass-to Amy, and to others. But you can leave amy out of these interactions, show. You don't need to have her get her hopes crushed when Sheldon is having a moment with Leonard, or emphasise that he will apologise to his mother, but not to Amy. It adds no value to involve Amy's pissed-off/disappointed reactions. Especially if you are then in another episode going to have Sheldon look down the barrel of the camera and instruct the audience that Amy is special. You can't TELL us that Amy is special to Sheldon, and then go out of your way (and you ARE going out of your way) to SHOW her relative INsignificance in certain encounters. It smacks of dishonesty.

just leave Amy out of those encounters. Let me enjoy Sheldon moments with Leonard, or his mum, without shoving your elbow in my ribs and saying 'WONDER IF HE'D DO THE SAME FOR AMY! EH? EH? EH?' I was NOT wondering, show.

I largely agree with you, I would rather not see those jokes as much either especially as the characters are supposed to have evolved and strengthened their relationships. But they use it as cheap humor for the great masses that get home from a hard day's work and just want to be entertained for 20 mins, in other words those people that aren't so invested in a particular character.

Overall I don't have a major problem with it, the show is catering to its core that has made the show so successful. Sure it's disappointing at times with a particular scene or piece of dialogue but I can live with that.
