Opening: Guys are playing online, they lost because Sheldon was too slow. He feels bad about it and doesn’t like the idea of loosing his capacities while getting older (something like that)

Girls night in a bar next day. Penny notice that Bernadette is drinking beer while nursing, she says it’s alright, Amy wants to check that online and B. snaps her to not to.
Penny goes to the bar to refill and meets Zack. They have a little chat, Zack says he’s engaged, asks about Leonard, says he loves him. Finally they agreed to go on a double date.
In the comic book store, the guys are talking about the game they lost the night before. Sheldon is annoyed because he lost against teenagers.

LP plot:
Leonard and Penny and getting to get ready to go to the double date. Leonard isn’t enthusiastic about it because he doesn’t have much to say to him. Penny convinces him saying there will be his fiancee. Sweet talk with a little banter (pretaped)
When they arrive, Zack is alone, saying he is fiancee couldn’t come. Awkward silence between them, not knowing what to say. Penny says «*so you like Deadpool too?*» (I don’t remember but I think it’s about something LP said in 4A)
They retaped this scene a lot, making some changes. Zack and Leonard reactions to what Penny says, then Zack says that his girlfriend had an emergency - Penny: what happened? - Zack: I didn’t ask. (no more Deadpool line)

Later, Zack ask Penny about her job, she says she’s still a pharmaceutical sales rep, Leonard speaks proudly about her.
Penny says that the worst part is that she has to lie and doesn’t like it. Zack tells her she could work with him and sell menus, she won’t have to lie. The only lie they say is that they use recycle paper, they don’t. Penny seems to think about it.

In Penny’s car, L&P speak about the diner. Leonard ask if Penny really thinks about the job offer. Penny says that it could be an opportunity, she doesn’t*like her job. Leonard says that it’s awkward for her to work with her ex-boyfriend, Penny doesn’t see why, Zack is armless and engaged.
...
pretaped: in 4A, Leonard Raj Howard - Leonard speak to his friends about the job offer. He’s not comfortable with it, not really jealous but doesn’t like the idea. Finally Howard agrees with him
at H&B house, Penny and Bernadette talk about it too.
It’s a montage between the 2 scenes

Leonard at his desk, Penny comes back and wants to talk. Leonard is not comfortable but he’s doing his goofy smile with thumbs up. Penny says that she not going mad, Leonard does the thumbs up again, Penny tells him she doesn’t like that, Leonard says sorry. Another version, probably the one we’ll see : P - I don’t like that after sex, neither now. L - Sorry
They sit on the couch to speak. Penny says that she gets he’s not at ease with the idea but she’s really tempted to accept the job, L repeats that he doesn’t think it’s a good idea but can deal with it, he wants her happy. P says that if he doesn’t agree she’s not taking it and go to the fridge. L follow her saying that he want’s her happy in her job so she should take it. Another exchange between them, and Leonard says «*I feel selfish*», Penny doesn’t answer and when he ask her to stay something, she does the goofy smile with thumbs up «*you’re right, it’s annoying*»
They’re just talking, no screams. (At the end Johnny and Kaley gave each other a hug so I thought the plot was ending.)
...
Penny and Leonard near the kitchen’s table, Penny ask if he’s sure about it, he agrees so she calls Zack to says that she accepts the job. But Zack says that he talked to his fiancee about it, and she doesn’t think it’s a good idea that he works with his ex-girlfriend, so there’s no offer anymore.
P ends the call and tell it to L. , «*Told you!*» , he says something else and do the thumbs up thing.
They changed a lot the end
1st : she stares at him a little angry
2nd: she stays blank, no anger
3rd : Leonard’s line changed (sorry I don't remember it), he’s doing the thumbs up, she stares then smiles and comes to a big hug, L. gives her a cheek kiss. It’s very sweet. (After the cut, Johnny lifted Kaley, he want to see Leonard doing that!)
4th: they kiss and hug.

Sheldon plot:
in 4B, Raj and Sheldon are baking croissants. Amy comes in and ask why. Sheldon explains that he’s trying to find some new challenge. Raj says the croissants are very good, it makes Sheldon unhappy ("physicist, lover, baker, there’s nothing I can’t do"). Amy tries to suggest another type of challenge, he says that there’s no way they’re going to tickle fight.
...
At Howard &Bernadette's, Sheldon came to try to do something new. Juggling. He tries first with one ball but he’s afraid to catch a juggling elbow.
...
pretaped : Sheldon is doing one wheel cycle in 4B when Amy comes back, Howard gave him one to try.
live: Sheldon stops trying, Amy points him out that each time things become difficult, he stops. «*you call me quitter?!*»
Then Sheldon leaves to go to the bedroom. Amy : «*maybe the cycle worn him, ...he worn me*»
...
S is reading on the bed, A comes and says she’s sorry to have said he was a quitter. S answer that it’s ok, he quitted that idea. Then says that he saw an article saying that the average time to get a Noble price was around 40, he feels running out of time. Nice talk between them where Amy notice that if he doesn’t win a noble price but has a life full of friends and love, it worth it. He agrees. «*you’re cute*», then goes out because he has a lot to do (I don’t remember what he’s saying)

Sheldon is walking on stilts and he’s happy because he finally did it. He wakes up, it was a dream.

You must be talking about demisexuality. That's when you can only be sexually attracted to someone if there's an emotional bond first (if I'm wrong someone correct me). I think that's possible for Sheldon. Though I remember him talking about using Kolinahr to suppress his urges so I wouldn't rule it out for him to have been sexually attracted to women (fictional or not) in the past. Only very few though, because as we know he has very high, specific standards. And he must have figured out along the way how to suppress these things.

Going back to the TR is it just me or would it have been more interesting if the job on offer was more substantial and she had took it? Clearly she is still not enjoying her job. But I guess this is the first time since Big Bear she has really complained about her job, so the writers haven't forgotten and career change still might happen at some point.

If I was a Lenny I might be happy they were on the same page in the end but her career might be the real factor Penny has been the way she has been for a significant part of the season and is no closer to resolving it.

Yeah, that would be the alternate interpretation I mentioned: That he's just a heterosexual dude with a very specific type and a bunch of personal issues.

I only read the Lenny plot because I want to leave myself some things unknown... 

It sounds really good!!! Supporting Leonard! That's his most charming mode! And both of them seem loving and condsiderate of each others feelings. That how you write Lenny TPTB! See? You know how to do that!

I hope they will make good editing choices, not cutting good parts and keeping the ones where they kiss, hug and smile.

I'm somewhat disappointed that the job change ended up not occuring... Poor Penny really hates her job. It also means that it may not be "THE resolution" for the frustration/unhappiness of Penny/Lenny of the second half of the season. Nontheless, it may lead to it. She might start to actively look for another job, with Leonard supporting her of course. However, the cliffhanger could be her getting a very attractive offer far away... Then we will be left wondering what they will do. 

The little BTS comments on J&K sound so cute! They really do seem to be good friends.

I'm a bit bummed Penny is still stuck in a job she hates...I would have loved to see Zack and Penny working together. But i dont know how much fun Penny would have had selling menus either. 

 anyway, Leonard sounds really great and supportive and I also LOVE Zack . He's one of my favorites,  and the way they used him as a guest star in this episodes sounds very funny and much better than the Bert episode last week. Though, it could just be coz I prefer  Zack over Bert as far as guest stars go, lol.

That she would have chosen selling menus over selling medicines is a testament of how much she hates her job! Frankly, it's time for a change for Penny, and I hope the writers choose something a bit more believable than what Zach offered her...

I think she should return to acting. I mean Webseries could be her thing. I am just saying she needs to find something she's passionate about. Passion is the right word to describe Penny Since season 7, well lack of passion.
