I think because of the writers strike looming , they wanted scripts in the bank for the new season which affected the quality at TBBT

It's clear to me now that Penny and Leonard have evolved into your run-of-the-mill sitcom married couple.  Most of their stories are about some sort of simple conflict that is ultimately meaningless because they are MARRIED, which generally makes them untouchable in sitcom land.  It's not something that shippers can get off on because conflict is valued over sweetness--because comedy comes from conflict--and there won't be any drama because all drama ends at the wedding (until they try to make a baby and struggle with that). 

Howardette has pretty much always been like this, which is why nobody really ships them.

From the information that we have so far and regardless of the cliffhanger, it sounds like a fun episode overall

While Sheldon and Amy are on Skpe (or whatever you call it), Sheldon tells Amy about his day and so happens to mention Ramona.  After their Skpe session, Amy immediately Skye's P/B about her talk about Ramona.  She has the most terrified but hilarious look on her face!  It was so funny.  The dialogue was funny and Mayim's acting was really good.  Amy's like "I told you to look after him!", or... something along those lines.

Like how this was mentioned before Mayim really deserves an Emmy.

I don't think they have scripts "in the bank", I think they will start the season late if the strike is still on by July.

She's also an actress without a contract. Obviously those Emmy nominations don't mean much.

Thanks for the offer, Kazzie ! I have a few questions. So glad you seem to have had a great time again !

Why were the cast dressed in waterproofs and black clothes ? What were the outdoor and night scenes about ? Why was Amy wearing carpet slippers on her feet and a mac over what seems to be her nightie ? Did Sheldon wake her up  ? Where were Sheldon and Ramona when Ramona wanted to kiss him ? I'm picturing a restaurant or something.  If Sheldon ran away from Ramona at that point, and jumped in a cab to the airport, did he happen to have the ring in his pocket ? I wonder if he's been carrying it round with him like Leonard carried his.

What was the reason Ramona turned up again in the first place after all these years ? Is she an airforce officer connected with the project the boys got chucked off ? What was her excuse for seeing Sheldon ?

My sympathies go out to the Lennies that direct their anger and frustration at the writers. It has been a disappointing season for them, even I have noticed that and I am no Lenny shipper. 

Shocked they went with the one storyline in the finale, isn't that pretty much unheard of for a finale? Even the heavy Sheldon Season 7 finale had two other storylines to it, with Howard's mother being incapacitated and looking for a carer as well as Lenny announcing their engagement to the group and Leonard's mother and mulling over where to live.

I will say this though I will like the scenes with the group trying to make sure they are around Sheldon and Ramona as that is highlighting the close friendship they all have with each other. Just surprised the whole episode revolves around it.
