I know some people who aren't fond of Sheldon will say this is proof that he cheated, but it's actually the opposite.

Someone like sram has nothing against Sheldon and said he cheated. His beef was with other posters who made comments about Leonard. I think some is a bit of a stretch.

I here a big chance of Amy saying no due to her work and the Romona fling but in previous episodes she has made it clear that she want some to be marrit's and sheldon has expressed his feelings for having a baby I think in s11 ep1 amy will say to sheldon I'm pregnant from what happened in 23

The show now is dead to me and I probably  wouldn't even bother watching 10x22 now.

Same. It's a bummer because I was looking forward to Lenny solving a problem together and talking about stuff, but the realization that absolutely none of the crap they wrote for Lenny this season leads to anything substantial makes it impossible for me to enjoy that episode. And I know how ungrateful this might sound. I'm extremely thankful for all those great moments in the early seasons and I would be very much OK with Lenny taking a back seat, but not like this. If you reduce them to supporting characters, at least don't fill their limited screen time with pointless snark and fights. It'd be so, so easy to please us and yet they choose not to. Ergo I'm not gonna waste one more minute watching this show.

Yeah, I totally understand you not much reason for a Lenny to keep watching the show to be honest.

I understand your frustration.

But I don't think the writers would have placed Leonard and Penny in the show's primary set if they had no plans for them. Fingers crossed they come up with something good.

Hey guys, Here is another report for 10x23. Enjoy!

OK some details on 10x23.....

Shamy were incredibly cute in this episode. It really marks how much they have grown to rely on one another, especially Sheldon.

Amy has the offer for a 3 month placement at Princeton. She is incredibly excited about it but also incredibly nervous to approach Sheldon about the subject.

She talks about it with the girls and and urge her to go for it, Its an opportunity she cant refuse. Amy is obviously concerned about leaving Sheldon on his own.

Long story short, The guys have finished phase 1 of their military project and they are excited to start the second phase. They arrive at the university in high spirits to get started only find their lab had completely been emptied. The guys are pretty upset to find the military are responsible for this. The military had decided to take the project into their own hands and the guys were no longer needed.

Sheldon, Howard and Leonard are heading back up to the apartment in low spirits, The enter the apartment to find it completely empty, Nothing there at all. Exactly the same situation as walking into their lab. They are all visibly confused and re-visting the earlier trauma before they realise they are still on the third floor and walked into he wrong apartment by mistake.

They cautiously enter 4A and are relived to see the familiar surroundings and the rest of the gang there. They join their respected wives (and raj). Everyone tried to comfort the guys after losing their project but they insist on changing the subject. Penny pointed out that Amy had some news to which the attention points to her. As Sheldon is upset she doesn't want to break the Princeton news to him just yet and shifts focus on Raj's news on him moving out of 4A and moving in with Bert as his roommate.

The girls are walking in the park with Bernadette pushing Hally in her push chair. They are urging Amy to go to Princeton and how she cant miss this opportunity, Sheldon will be fine. Bernadette expresses her concern for Howard as he has become incredibly needy and clingy since losing the military project. After some more dialog with Amy, Howard is seen to run over and join the girls. He greets Bernadette with hugs and kisses reinforcing Bernadette's earlier concerns about his behavior.

We cut to 4B. Its the next day and Amy is cooking oatmeal for Sheldon. She is hoping to cheer him up with food he likes to approach the subject of Princeton to him. Sheldon enters and he is still pretty down about the project, He apologizes that his bowel movements have not been to schedule. Amy comforts him and serves him up his oatmeal just as he likes it, Plain. She advises Sheldon he should take this opportunity to shift focus onto another project. Sheldon seems to light up at this idea and suggest they start working more on their joint research. Amy knowing this would be near impossible if she was leave shoots down the idea quickly stating that if they proved the theory, They are still paying $3 for a loaf of bread at the end of it anyway so whats the rush. Sheldon immediately becomes suspicious she Amy rejects the notion of spending more time together and feeding him his favorite oatmeal. He confronts her and asks her whats going on.

Amy finally spills that she has an opportunity to go to Princeton on a research project for 3-4 months. Sheldon immediately tells her she must go but he is visibly troubled by her leaving. He is trying to support the idea but he snaps and storms off to the bedroom. He is totally not ok with it.

Howard and Bernadette are at home and Hoard is continuing to be needy and clingy. Bernadette decides it time they have a talk about his behavior. This is a very cute scene as Howard acknowledges his behavior but completely turns it around to prove to Bernadette does exactly the same thins when she loses work project. One example is that it lead to them having Hally. Bernadette is apologetic and immediately gives into Howards neediness. The roll onto the bed kissing.

Next, We see Leonard assisting Raj with moving his boxed downstairs. As they approach the 3rd floor they can here someone playing harmonic from within 3A. They both enter to see Sheldon sitting alone of the floor playing the harmonica. He is incredibly sad and expresses that everyone and everything is leaving him. He lost his project, he is losing his girlfriend.. He is sad and alone. Raj suggest with him now gone, Sheldon could move back into his old room so Sheldon doesn't have to be alone. Leonard asks to speak to Raj out in the hallway for a moment and instead shuts the door behind Raj so he was out of the room. Leonard sits next to Sheldon to offer him advice on what to do with Amy. He tells him that he is not losing her and that Amy will only be gone a few months and he needs to show her how much of a supportive boyfriend he can be.

4B and amy is sitting on the couch on her computer. Sheldon enters holding a suitcase as a gift he got for Amy. He tells her this is an opportunity she cant refuse and as a supportive boyfriend he wants her to go, He got her this case that has been tested to survive a plane crash, So maybe Amy should trade inside the case. Amy stands up and is taken aback by his gesture. She walks towards him and asks him if he is really sure about this and he says. "Sheldon!" Amy says in inviting tone while wrapping her arms around him and planting a kiss on him. They kiss (very much like the Harry potter robe kiss) in one another arms until Sheldon breaks off and says, "I know its not your birthday, but we could continue this with intimate love making: (Disclaimer, This is not the actual line, and I for the love of me cant remember what he actually said, so this is just a guide to what happened in this scene, But y'all will die okay?). Amy agrees to coitus but only if Sheldon is sure to which he is. They continue kissing and Sheldon pulls back quickly to reinforce something. "Just know, This coitus is in no way a ploy to get you to stay" Its a very tender scene and the delivery is very sweet. Amy smiles at Sheldon and acknowledges that she understands. Sheldon goes onto say because when she is at princeton, He cant give her this, And he cant give her his goods via Skype. Amy smiles mischievously. Sheldon says "so lets go to the bedroom, Take off our cloths, fold them neatly and make passionate love". (Again not actual words but very close". He takes her hand and leads Amy to the bedroom, while they are making their way there, Amy says in caught a naught tone, "How about we take off our cloths, DONT fold them up neatly and then make passionate love" Still hand in hand they stop at the door ways and Sheldon responds in a very Sexual way, "or how about we Do fold up our clothes" Hand and hand they walk into the bedroom.

Next scene is Raj in the hallway saying goodbye to Penny and Leonard at the door. They get interrupted when Sheldon shouts from 4B Bedroom " Oh Amy you naughty Vixen". The guys seem disturbed with what was going on next door, Someone suggested going in there to see what was happening but after amy shouts out something like "Oh Sheldon, that is a great method to cause forward stimulation" (Again I cant remember what exactly it was but it was something science-y turned sexy". The guys just all look on with a "nope" look on their faces.. It ends with Sheldon shouting WOOHOOOO.

4B and Amy is ready to leave. Sheldon is upset but he's trying to be supportive. He walks her down to the car telling her to call him as soon as she gets to the airport, "I Will" And to the gate? "I will", And when you arrive in New Jersey? "I Will"..
The last line was Sheldon.. "And if you meet another scientist as smart as me and as tall as me, I want you to step away from him and call me immediately"

End,

As always, happy to answer questions!.

What a disappointing finale if you are a lenny. No progress or resolution for lenny. I guess the fighting arc will be carried over to S11 whenever they need to pull the card and the continuous snark by others how they should get a divorce. Well nothing new to discuss for Lenny. As I have said before, nothing tptb do these days shocks me anymore when it comes to lenny. They have just proved what they think of lenny and how much they are not on their radar.

I guess what we didn't get for lenny when they got engaged will now be played out by shamy in S11 and what we didn't get for lenny marriage will also be played out in S12.. It's just the way it is now and what brings in the money and what the TPTB think the fans want. The show now is dead to me and I probably  wouldn't even bother watching 10x22 now.

Same here. I never signed up for The Sheldon Show. I cannot take the neglect and minimization that Lenny and the Lennys have been subjected to for the past three seasons.

Didn't intend to intrude on the finale talk but I Just came home from work and saw the sneak peek of this week's ep. Zach says, "What are the odds of running into you here?" and Penny answers"Well, it's a bar, so... pretty good." And whenever I mention something about Penny's drinking I get slammed. I find that a little ironic when the writers keep going there.

Now going back to read the pages I missed.

Really ?? Why would they "stick it" to Leonard ? Amy was shown to be sympathetic to Leonard's boat kiss .Amy defended Leonard to Penny. Leonard was NOT painted as the bad guy at all by the writers . Quite the contrary, everyone made excuses for him and it was never mentioned again.

I was refering to Sheldon ("him sticking it to Leonard's face"). They had Sheldon do these kind of things many times. That part of my post, however, was more of an exaggeratiom for humor to vent frustration about the over-glorification of Sheldon by the writers.

I appreciate the positivity, but when you keep hoping for something better to happen only to be disappointed over and over and over again, then at some point you realize that maybe it's time to just let go and watch better TV shows.

I misspoke (typed?). I understood the logic, I am only disappointed that the proposal had to be combined with a rather eyerolling plot (Ramona going all bunny boiler). I wasn't fussed about a shamy wedding (I am on record as being quite happy about an offscreen affair mentioned in passing!), but had there been one, this is my preferred ranking of reasons:

I love you, you love me, P A R T E E E

I totally sang that in my head to the tune of the Barney song. I really hope that was your intention ;)

Well it is just typical Sheldon up front, everyone at back do nothing. But annoys me is Lenny. IT seems now all those episodes where they were fighting over Leonard playing video games, Penny not feeling appreciated. That stupid and pointless Relationship Agreement. Remember that? LOL. Remember how Non Lenny fans. Were going oh this is good for Lenny e.t.c. Nope. Has not been referenced once. And obviousley was just a throw away gag.

I felt that way about Sheldon's mom and Leonard's dad after they made such a big deal out of it. This happens all the time now. It's one of the reasons I didn't really want a renewal. I wanted them to start tying some things up and go out on a high note.

That was a short 1-2 episode bit. The Lenny bit has been going on 1 -2 years. I'm not sure how the parents and Lenny are comparable.

Just a few notes on the finale..

- Swimming, The way Sheldon got over the initial fear of being in a pool was just imagining it as a huge bathtub. He then freaked out at other people being in his bathtub

- Sheldon being Sheldon was oblivious to her advances. He mentions to Penny that he didn't even notice Ramona was a female until he saw her in her bathing suit which was highlighting her bosoms. (Now y'all take that as you want, But I see that as Sheldon not defining people as a gender)

- Amy is to be at Princeton for 3-4 months

- Sheldon DID NOT Kiss Ramona back. As I said, He was not inviting of it. He was sitting at his desk talking about how he couldn't be involved with Ramona when she was standing over him and she planted one on him. It was unexpected, uninvited, Sheldon didn't reciprocate, He didn't close his eyes and I'm pretty sure when he pulled. It lasted around 2-3 seconds. This is NOT cheating and the playback gave no intention of cheating what so ever. IF both parties participate, Its cheating. And trust me.. Personal here but I've been cheated on and I know.

- At this point, All we know that Amy knows about Ramona being around, But she doesn't know that she kissed him.

Absolutly agree with this entire post. It's like tptb wants to get rid of the remaining L/P fanbase in favour of the Sheldon show. Oh wait, they are. Let me tell you, they are doing a good job of it. Even better than the writing of lenny. I just can't comprehend how they would end the season with no compassion or even a small resolution for lenny after all the made up artificial drama they created for them. I guess it will be continued in S11 and beyond. I was done at 10x18 and I feel so much better, not stressing and gobsmacking at the way lenny are written in most episodes. I don't have to suffer anymore at the total deconstruction of lenny that I find myself not being able to relate to. And to add insult to injury, even Stuart and Bert are given more plots than 2 of the main characters. If the writers are not willing to invest in lenny, why should I and give a toss. I don't enjoy the show and haven't for a very long time, so I'm with you on this one and think it is the right time to call it a day and enjoy other pastures. Netflix and Amazon. They have some great shows.

I just hope they don't drag out this goddamn soap opera.

Eh, could've been worse. My worst case scenario was something like: Ramona lays one on Sheldon, Amy - returning home unexpectedly from Princeton - walks in on the kiss, storms away in tears, and the cliffhanger is her in a bar with, like, Dave or someone saying 'Hey there....'

As it is, Ramona was a low-key bunny-boiler (and not even in a professional way, but in the most tedious, cliched, romantic way), Sheldon was oblivious, and realised that he needed to put a ring on it to...signal to other bunny-boilers that he was taken? Because bunny-boilers are respecters of paperwork? Of bling? It's not clear.

So...still annoying, but not as ghastly as it could've been. Anyway, it's over now. Bye, Ramona. I'm sorry they lame-ified you for no very good reason. I maintain that if they wanted a proposal, there was a way to have it without extraneous soap opera silliness.

Man, I would so have loved it if Ramona wanted to get in on the Sheldon/Amy project and was increasingly terrifying to the degree that Sheldon and the gang legged it to NJ. And the finale would have been Ramona saying 'Hello?.....Hello? In 4B', with Sheldon downstairs yelping 'DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE!'

Blackout, and then '....Your check engine light is on.'

And then the premiere of the next season could have been a road trip for the gang, or the gang in NJ! Leave Halley with Stuart.

...I know. I should just hand in my 'shipper card.

You may be right but it's a bit out of left field to go swimming since Sheldon really isn't into  physical activity.

Obviously Romana exercised whatever power she had  (perhaps still has - we may find out next season ), or recast whatever spell she conjured, over Sheldon to get him to do or not do things against his will.

Yep. Sheldon cheated. He was just asking for it, wasn't he? He told her no and when she pushed it anyway, he did nothing but leave the room to find his girlfriend. What an asshole.

But he went on the swim date(s) with Ramona. That had nothing to do with the kiss.

Yikes, you do have a way with words!!!!  Your posts are so fun to read.....

I  have to ask.  Bunny-boiler???? Does that have anything to do with "Fatal Attraction"?  Also.  I nearly did a spit shot when I misread your last two words.  I saw it as "stripper card".....anyway....Thank you for  the chuckles!!!!

But he went on the swim date(s) with Ramona. That had nothing to do with the kiss.

He went. To a swimming pool. With another person. I know this comment is going to get modded, but I'm morbidly curious: do you see swimming pools as a hotbed of animal lust? Is it the chlorine? You can tell me if it's the chlorine.

As to Sheldon noticing that Ramona is a woman because of her bosoms: Sheldon notices and makes inappropriate remarks about basically everyone. He talks about Amy's nose-hair and calls her a foxy tea-kettle. I think the show is clear that the Cooper Libido is not a tits and arse libido.

Listen, most of us - Shamies included - loathe the Boat Kiss. We think it's shitty writing. We hate the resolution (or lack thereof). We are sympathetic - sometimes through repeated incantations of 'Remember the nice Lennies'. But I'm sorry, in canon all we have to go on is 'there was kissing'. In other words, Leonard has not denied some measure of participation. As opposed to sitting like a block and promptly heading for the great open spaces of New Jersey. And - as sympathetic as I am to the anger of Lennies - my sympathy does not make the two levels of participation equivalent. They're simply not.

Thank you so much Kazzie for the info.

God I hope Amy's says no. Because I see no logic behind Sheldon's reaction whatsoever. How does he decide to propose all of a sudden? Is it guilt? Is it that he's afraid other people might do what Ramona does to him to Amy? Is he freaking out because of the kiss? It doesn't look like it because he watches sponge bob on the flight to Princeton.

I hope they figure it out in the premiere of next season, instead of rushing to an engagement that makes not sense. If this indeed is Shamy's long-awaited proposal, I must say I'm very disappointed.

this... totally agree...

First of all thank you to all those who kindly provide us spoilers.. really really appreciate it!!! big THANK YOU!!!
Second, although there's a lot of good positive points that almost change my mind... I do think that Sheldon cheated on amy; I'm a shamy shipper (honestly not the same way that I used to be) but most of all I'm a Amy shipper, and it hurts me so much the way she has been treated (obviously by the writers in form of Sheldon and his sometimes unbelievable circumstances). Is Sheldon that stupid to not realize the real intentions from Ramona even when Penny was warning him about it, sorry I don't buy that sh*t!!!...He was spending so much time with Ramona and clearly we was enjoying her company, otherwise he would've used one of his stupid excuses in order to keep her away, (like he did with Vanessa and had used multiple times with amy and no, i don't want sheldon to be "exclusive" for amy, he has the right to hang out with whoever he wants (including women) same right that amy has (including man); what bothers me is the fact that suddenly from nowhere sheldon is allow to spend time with a woman that is not even one of his closest friends, put them aside just to please her, have a date, yes it was a date, because as far as we know they were alone swimming in a public pool (or was it a "private one"?) where is his germophobe?? (oh yes!! that excuse was only for amy),  and if that was not enough he let her kiss him, he was not capable to push her back from minute he felt her lips on his (we don't how much the kiss last) or when he saw her leaning toward him, he was not capable to say her simple "NO, that's not correct", why was she the one who stopped the kiss?? he only said excuse me and ran away, what did sheldon really feel?? Guilt because he knows he was cheating on amy?? or because he enjoyed the kiss "more than he thought he would"?? who knows!!! (it's a lorre comedy)... I just really hope that he is completly honest with amy, she deserves a proper explanation of what happened from sheldon's mouth, not from raj, bernie or penny much less Ramona... and I hope Amy asks sheldon the real reasons why he is proposing at that moment because not so much time ago she was crying because his lack of interest in marriage and because she didn't see any indication he was going to do it.

And for the ep 23.. wow!! amy only gets some action from Sheldon in form of an anual present (on her birthday, because you know it's only once a year), when sheldon feels the need to procreate a superior human being (because you know it's for science) or as farewell gift (because you know she's about to leave and he needs to be sure that she's happy and there won''t be the risk to lose her with another scientist), .. wow!! how humiliating is that!! I think she deserves to be loved and desired by her partner at any time not only in "risk to lose" or "special aka sheldon's terms" ocasions, there is not need to "sacrifice" sheldon because it seems that it is exactly what he does... is enough to see the way he kisses her... (i bet the kiss with ramona is more believable than the all shamy kisses together)...

I'm so sorry Lenny fans, i feel your pain.. you deserve so much better than this pile of cr*p.. i do really hope that if the shamy engagement is on, now the writers can focus on lenny making a good plot for them (yes I know it's difficult to believe but it's not impossible let's hope!!) hugs from another dissapointed former shipper!!!
