Thank you so much @Lady in Red, it sounds like a funny episode...happy that the experiment is going on and Lenny changed the locks in 4A, LOL!!! And...hearing that the Raj's nonsense has come to an end made my day, that was something I could never bear in S. 9. Sorry, anyway, that that happened off-screen....I would have preferred to see both girls kicking his a$$. Well...you can't always get what you want...

I hope that in the upcoming episodes, Leonard and Penny will do more than be Sheldon and Amy's Go-To's before S/A finally talk about their issues with each other. I want Lenny to do more than just react to stuff that others do. That was last season and I don't need it again.

So they finally confirmed that Shamy only do it once a year. I wonder how much longer Amy is happy with that.

So the Raj/Emily/Claire love triangle ends with a whimper not a bang? A casual comment in a hot tub that he's single again? Are we going back to pathetically sad Raj and Stuart? Do the writers care that little about Rajs story?

And Sheldon is now perving on women in the street?

And@Chrismo, genuine question, what are you expecting for an episode NOT to be a filler episode?

Yes that was my favorite part. Woohoo!  Raj is single .  I would have loved to see,at least Emily (if not Claire)  kick his a$$, she deserved at least that,  but I guess, I am okay if they show some self reflection in future episodes and he learns how to be alone for a while.

Also, I think Sheldon didn't really mean it, when he told Amy,  he wanted to date other girls. The story behind the triple knocking relates to that.

And this episode does feel like Sheldon has desires - he himself said that he thinks of himself as a sexual creature. I think they might be doing all this to set up for a future episode where they will explore their sex life. Just my 2 cents.

Yes, I agree; Nerdforrestgirl in her TR said that, since they were fighting all the time like his parents, Sheldon was trying to prepare Amy for him to behave like his father, who cheated on Mary...; plus, in the ice-cream parlor he found no other woman attractive, so all this "hubba hubba" thing for me was a bit of exaggeration, at least in reference to all the womankind...Nice to hear a bit of a back story behind his compulsive knocking after all these years, I like when the writers explain some of Sheldon OCDs with his problems growing up...and I know he didn't knocked three times until the middle of S. 1, but I guess I'll let this pass, obviously since the writers thought about this particular quirk it was intended as a distinctive trait of his personality.

Thanks, but there is plenty of time to take notes.  They film each scene twice, although the taped scenes were only shown once.  The big thing is to ignore the guy working the audience by having people come up to dance, and passing out candy.

Although, I think that was @nerdforestgirl being interviewed at one point.  Am I right?

Molaro recently did an interview and suggested that she might not be for much longer. It was in reference to her birthday coming up and coitus being on the table again. The way he diverted to the "once-a-year rule" potentially changing before her next birthday made me think they already have that episode written down and figured out. Add that Shamy are living together and Sheldon is admitting to his "sexual awakening" in more ways than one and I find it even harder to believe they don't.

I'm still amazed how you guys can take so many notes, when I tried that, not only I felt a little shy cause I was the only one doing it among the people around me, but also a security guard looked at me suspiciously (apparently she thought I was writing a love letter to Jim Parsons : o ) and at some point she offered me to move to a VIP row when somebody left from there and there was a free seat, but said it's forbidden to take notes there! I dunno maybe I was just unlucky, but I'm always amazed when people can take such extensive notes!

TBF the problem with that, is people have probably had a very specific image of what Penny's mother and brother would look like or act like for years. SO like with Meemaw, when it did not meet those expectations. People are going to be underwhelmed. Susan was poorly written I agree. Probably too many inconsistencies, along with Randall. But I thought they did pretty good with the matarial that was given to them. They worked well with Lenny, I thought Penny and the family just gelled. Even if Randall and Susan felt flat.  And yes to the road trip haha. Wanna see Lenny driving on the road. Cut from Apt, Sheldon and the gang are hanging out. Cut to Lenny in the car, no Sheldon!!! WOOOOOO .

Yeah your probably right. 

And your right it is still early in the year for them. That's what happens when you have a cliffhanger final - the following season can't magically just jump 4 or 5 months after the second episode.

Thanks to all providing the spoilers.  Just a few quick comments then back to bed before following up later:

I had to hold my breath when I started reading the TR.  I got scared,  but by the end I was squealing with delight.

First, Lenny changing the locks in 4A to force the new "temporary" LA.  I love it.

Next, I'm eccstatic to learn more about Sheldon's background.  Why he has oppressed sex, why he is so hard on his mother about it, why he knocks the way he does, and why he hates couples fighting.    All the pieces are coming together.   Most of all,  he is afraid of failing Amy. 

It is nice to know that he still wants to be admired for his mind over his body...Oh, Sheldon!

I'm so glad the writer's are taking more time to show the realism of Shamy's situation, and that they are working through it.  Sheldon is working through it, and it doesn't bother me at all anymore that he turns to Penny for help to sort it out.   She has always been his confidant.

More to come later, but one last thought.   With so many revelations in a single episode, I do fear they are setting this up to be the final season.  

I hope that won't be the case.

I only read the quick version of the TR this time as the taping is getting to many episodes ahead of the airing for me.  The idea of the Shamy experiment kind of has me feeling like I'll get bored. I will be looking for a Rogue One episode.

I know it's easy to worry about, but this transition is a very long time coming. It's hard to say if they're doing it now because this is the last season or because they couldn't possibly drag it out any longer than they already have. If we didn't know they were guaranteed a S10, the same worries would've poured in when a breaking up, an engagement ring, an almost proposal, getting back together, and coitus all happened in the first 11 episodes of S9.

The (sad) reality is that we're close to the end whether this is the last season or not.

Or Sheldon who is clearly having urges, sounds very much like something is going to happen on that front soon.

I'm glad to see that we got another episode based on the experiment and it was to be expected that there were going to be teething problems with both Amy and Sheldon trying to adjust. Bickering is fine as long as they eventually discuss it and they come to some compromise which they did by the sounds of it at the end with the bathroom schedule being removed and them sharing a toothbrush holder, small things to most but probably big ones to Sheldon lol.

Sheldon going to Penny for advice is nothing new and I kind of get that. Sheldon has always acknowledged that he is smart when it comes to academic stuff but when it comes to life experience he has always admired Penny's intelligence on that front. He told her as much in the Intimacy Acceleration.

Amy going to Leonard also makes sense as he has managed to live with Sheldon for years without killing him lol. On the plus side this also might advance and develop the Amy and Leonard friendship which many of us have been calling for ages. 

Sounds like the line from Sheldon about seeing other women is just Sheldon thinking that because his parents bickered (and so are Amy and Sheldon as they adjust) a lot his father did turn to other women. I am glad he told Amy towards the end he didn't mean it.

Sheldon has urges we have already known this with comments at the Prom episode and his mention of the practice of Kolinahr in the episode when Amy experienced a sudden sexual urge after seeing Zack. It does sound like he struggling to contain it and something is going to happen with those urges soon. No I don't think he would cheat on Amy before anyone suggests that to satisfy his needs.

I get the frustration this week from Lenny fans about them not seeming to be taking advantage yet of the living situation changes, last week they just danced around in their underwear this week they played a real supportive role? I guess from their viewpoint they know that if they don't help Sheldon and Amy with their teething problems in adjusting to living together then there is a chance it could potentially crash and burn and they end up all living together again. But also on a friendship level they want to help their friends and I get that, you help your friends.

Creepy Stuart makes another appearance lol, I think Kevin just nails that aspect of  his character. I could so imagine him using their hot tub when they aren't around lol.

Raj is now single? Well I never thought those women were right for him so I am glad he isn't with them anymore, but then that probably means him either teaming up Stuart both looking miserable and looking for women or Raj just gets more and more sucked into the pregnancy storyline. Raj badly needs a decent life changing storyline something that grows his character.

I can imagine the Bernadette and Howard scenes are funny as they are quietly freaking out about the hot tub, Simon does freaking out performances so well.

Once again thanks again for the TR, sounds like another solid episode with some funny moments.

Unacceptable that this Emily/Claire thing didn't even amount to real development. Raj is just back in sad sack mode.

IMO I hope Raj remains single to the end. Not everyone has to be in a relaitonship. And I have no problem with Raj playing the field. Even being a gray area by the end.  OR he ends up with Lucy by the end. She is the only one who has made Raj tolerable. So Raj treats two women poorly, and we don't even get to see them kick his ass? Hahaha. Talk about underwhelming.

Probably that's why the writers ended it that way, it was such a terrible idea it didn't even deserve a "closure" scene...Anyway, curious to know how it ended, did Raj explained it to Stuart? Who did break up with whom? Pretty sure I know the answer, though. Oh, now according to a  Molaro interview, maybe we should wait for his parents to insist on Raj dating some girl they chose for him

Maybe the writers have dropped it as it was getting a lukewarm reception, I know many critics hated the storyline but maybe they picked up on audience reaction as well? Has Raj learnt from the experience and will change his ways? It's like we got the outcome most of us wanted to see but know nothing about how we got to that point and what happened. Maybe something else comes out later.

Raj needs something major, something that sorts his life out. Maybe they are going to use the birth of the Howardette child to do that?
