Have I ever mentioned why I couldnt stop to watch bbt season after season as I decided to watch the show? Besides the science and nerd culture, it was Sheldon. I have certainly seen and had my attention held by pictures of Jim from that shoot more than once . However, to see Sheldon looking so intentionally and thoughtfully sophisticated, masculine and sexy is just such a different aspect to that character that it is the more compelling of the two pictures to me. Seeing it makes me wonder how successful the writers will be at putting the seductive side that Sheldon is apparently capable of "back in the box" to have him return to his " normal" self next week, as it sounds like he will. Not that I'm hoping they will - I just want to see how and how much they integrate this new side of Sheldon as he moves forward. One other thing that struck me in the sneak peeks from this week was how, um . . ., nice it was to see Sheldon touching his own chest and running his hand up his torso when he was excited and having his 'profound sense of creation' in the lab with Amy. It reminded me of the scene when Amy was guiding him through a very pleasurable massage after him saying that rubbing his own shoulder seemed like a lot of unnecessary touching. It seems like he is now actively becoming aware of his own body, moving more freely, touching it and allowing himself to be touched by/touch others. (E.g. I was surprised when he helped pick up Wolowitz in 10x3; I just can't see himself doing that in earlier seasons). I adore it. 2) Sheldon's guns. How much longer can they hide him going to the gym. 3) Sheldon's genuine excitement at their biology experiment. 4) Sheldon lime a proud Papa every step of the way. How adorable will he be when it really is a baby! Showing. Bernie the pics on his phone. Comparing their children. The way he loomed at A y when she called him a functional boyfriend. No hint of the usual annoyance. He is so proud that he is doing a good job with her now. 5) Shamy absent from group dinner scene. They are off having a cozy dinner alone. 6) We didn't have to have sex with Howard to create it??? Sex ya'll not coitus. Big deal for what comes later. 7) Did not care for Raj's plot. Racist and annoying. Raj needs to do Raj for a bit. Let's pull down our pants a little and make a baby??? I amy dead dead dead... jenafan Posted November 11, 2016 Share Posted November 11, 2016 (edited) Tonight's episode, Oh my goodness. So many wonderful Shamy moments, but Sheldon stole it. He cracked me up laughing with the whole Bend and Snap and exaggeration of popping his butt out for Amy. Then he stirred my senses trying the role of a sexy Spaniard attempting to seduce his woman, which in my book, he got perfectly right with the exception of the deer smell. Even Sheldon's change in voice was hot, and when he asked Amy if she wanted to pet something with the sexy sway of his upper body....swoon! Amy's reaction to all of Sheldon's over-the-top drama was priceless. Between her egg crawling back up, taking credit for making Sheldon a functioning boyfriend, commenting on Bernadette's baby finding the exit, I'd say she took home the gold for the come backs. I can't tell you how much I appreciated her confirming her love for Sheldon to Lenny despite his crazy antics. As it turns out, her reason for not giving into Sheldon's demands wasn't because she wasn't prepared. She recognized Sheldon was overreacting, and the things Sheldon was doing to seduce her were not turning her on. I wonder if Amy even knew she was ovulating. She seemed surprised to learn Sheldon has been tracking her. To see her panting for him in the end was a relief. Apparently, Sheldon's dancing did arouse her, and he pulled it off very well. I just love these two so much! Sheldon is so clueless, he didn't get it when Amy said she wasn't ready for a baby. Biologically, perhaps, mentally and emotionally, no! Also Sheldon saying sex instead of coitus and Amy's little comment about making him a functioning boyfriend (it's funny because it's true). That whole scene with Bernie was the cutest! The lab experiment was awesome...amongst other things Sheldon in seducing mode was hilarious but he also had his moments (if you know what I mean ; ) at certain times. I still can't get over Sheldon's invitation for Amy to pet something on him, except his hair. The writers have been so clever!!! It is so obvious how much Sheldon just adores Amy, and he is so proud of where they are at in their relationship. I love the way he flaunts it in front of Lenny for all to see, leaving a rose petal trail to the apartment and then sexy dancing for Amy in front of an audience. I thought I would miss Sheldon's three knocking, but I just enjoy the way he just walks right on into Lenny's apartment as if it's a second home, which we know it is. He knows where to find his woman when she tries to escape from him. I'm so loving the development of the PALS relationship this season. So, Amy felt like she was being pursued by a Rat Pack Pee Wee Herman, until he started dancing. Sheldon excels at so many things, if he dances horizontally anything like he does vertically, I can understand Amy's panic. For my part, my ovaries would have grabbed on as soon as I as saw Sheldon at the kitchen bar and heard his sexy invitation at "hello." I don't know how Amy maintained such self-control. LOL ! BTW Amy panting after Sheldon, (when she was alone) in the end, was indeed the punchline of this episode. LMAO. We(and Lenny) are supposed to believe that none of it is working on her , but surprise surprise, some of it is . Well played writers. Clever. And I thought his flamenco dance was not bad at all ! Jim Parsons can certainly shake his hips and make Sheldon look utterly ridiculous yet sexy at the same time. I mean, I think he has great arms and a great ass, but the sexiest thing about Sheldon was his confidence . Confidence is always attractive in men(IMO). And judging by the look on Amy's face in the end, it kinda worked . Edit: The way Sheldon bragged about their neural nets ability to recognize data stream from background noise, made me think, he's just gonna end up being one of those dads who is always bragging about their kid to other parents, for every little thing. It was like an instant flash-forward view for me about what they will be like when they're actually parents. I have a feeling Sheldon will do everything all-out for his kids, sparing no expense for school or technology. I also feel like he will have to buy magnetic boards to put every single good grade on display because they don't all fit on the fridge... *Squee* Dad!Sheldon is not something I ever really thought of but this episode made me picture the future and boy is it bright. Actually, I've always imagined that since our geniuses had such a rough time at school, being bullied, stuffed into lockers and so on, they wouldn't send their own children to school if they were as bright as their parents. Pre-school ( is that a nursery school ? ) perhaps, where they can have fun and challenge the teachers, but no further.
