Ship Zone [Spoilers] Shamy: Season 10

Hey, guys, we completely forgot! Yesterday it was Amy's birthday and the anniversary of Shamy's coitus...Happy birthday Amy!

TBBT Official FB page, decided to celebrate the event in its own way, 

Nice picture, but I found the word "Coiutusversary" a bit creepy, LOL!!! Sheldon's way to celebrate Amy was way better!

Happy  belated birthday Amy!

I thought the word was creepy too! When I saw it yesterday I thought: :" Oh man, controversy ? Shamy? What's up now, lol?" Reading invented words sometimes got funny, lol!

Last year Amy had a happy birthday but I think she realy got a very happy one this year. Getting finaly to live with her boyfriend, be able to display  affection with him, to get a hearted and lovely birthday gift from him and to feel he desires her not only for celebrate her birthday  were the best gifts ever she could wish for!

 I think 10x11 , started with a bang and ended with a bang.They nailed it, pun intended. The only similarity it had with Opening Night Excitation, was that it was Amy's birthday, But in terms of tone and temperament, the two were miles apart. 10x11 was more about desire for each other. It was naughty, freaky and fun. It was a step in the right direction. And all episodes, 10x4 onwards were leading up to it.

And we are actually getting a proper follow up to 10x11 in the form of "spur of the moment" PDA in "The Romance Recalibration". I can't wait to see another make out (hopefully steamier). And look forward to the breezy light hearted Shamy plot with them, in the hotel, talking about hitting the mini bar lol !

As far as 10x11 is concerned, my personal favorite was the TAG, just so we could once again, see clear desire from Sheldon and the look of joy on Amy's face. What better sight than Sheldon, the Gryffindor almost chasing Amy, the Hufflepuff into 4B to get it on with her , and she couldn't be more delighted ?  I'm typing that sentence and realizing that it actually happened on TBBT, and not some fan fic.

And I needed an excuse to post the GIF  :

Sheldon and Amy are really special people in this world. Their feelings for each other are so true and they are so honest to each other for the other feel confortable that warms my heart to think that may be more sheldons and amy out there. Not exactly all so quirky like they are but surely with the honest of heart they have.

She gets a few facts wrong like what that viewer record was actually about and Amy puts on a Hufflepuff robe not Gryffindor but that's really nitpicking. LOL

Anyway, I love the actual topic of the essay: TBBT showing with Shamy how to do consent right! I was already raving about this with ON and I'm over the moon that they stuck to it in BdayS!!  I loved how Shamy were checking back with each other several times making their intentions clear and see if that's alright with the other.

I think that was particularly import and meaningful because actually that was their previous agreement. It was "established" (for the lack of a better word) that Amy's birthday meant sexy time for them, there were all sort of jokes about it, even Penny and Leonard knew that. Sheldon woke her up at midnight and he seemed very "ready" to get busy. Nonetheless, Amy checked on Sheldon to be sure it really was what he wanted. The same happened with ON. It should have been a given that Amy was very willing to have sex that night (her body language, the kiss, it was clear), but Sheldon asked anyway. That was tender, and that is what makes Shamy special to me.

Never having watched a Harry Potter movie, I was completely lost when they started talking about Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors.

Indeed, if it weren't for Amy's "Harry Potter make it hotter" line, I wouldn't have had a clue what they were talking about.

Nitpick ? Who, us ? Surely never ? ROTFLMAO.

 Seriously, considering how many scripts these people must have whirling round their heads, however hard they try to forget them,I think after two more episodes already recorded she did very well.  Perhaps it was a Freudian slip and she wanted to be in Gryffindor.   I loved how she said she enjoyed playing Amy !

Have you never even read a Harry Potter book ? They sell them in Latin, Greek and Welsh, plus translations into foreign languages, so you can feel virtuous exercising your mind rather than guilty for having fun. That's what I do anyway. The magic spells tend to have Latinesque endings, hence 'hanky-us panky-us'. The school Hogwarts is in Scotland. The pupils travel there from London on a special train, a replica of which presumably pleased Sheldon.

I'm a bit late to the conversational party, but I really liked the latest episode from what I've seen of it. All the storylines were fun, Shamy in particular.

I want to add to what everyone has said that I thought it was great how in the hospital Sheldon told Raj off for whatever rude thing he said to Stuart and then looked at Amy as if he wanted to make sure she saw that. He takes Amy's guidance seriously because he knows where he's lacking and he's showing signs that he wants to get better and he wants Amy to know that. Generally in season 10 Sheldon has given me the impression that he's more of an adult than ever and I think that's a by-product of him living with Amy. Season 9 was big for him as the break up made him more mature in his relationship and in general but the cohabitation in this season has taken that a step further. That's why I think the hallway scene in Veracity symbolised not only him choosing a future with Amy but also him finally choosing to be an adult.

Was that the line about you can think something but perhaps don't say it? Can't remember exactly the line but you are right he looked at Amy, a strong hint that he was trying to take her advice of certain behaviors on board.

Yeah Sheldon is trying so hard especially this season on that front, at the brunch we know he said that thing to Stuart about them being like a beta test of guests lol. But he knew very quickly he fucked up and looked to Amy for advice then as well.

Sheldon has become more self aware of himself and his behaviors. Remember the Intimacy Acceleration test he did with Penny when he said he wishes he could read people's minds because it upsets him deeply or he finds it very stressful that he struggles to read people, know if they are laughing at him or with him, whether he has said something to upset them or if they are in a bad mood. Sheldon has shown that he wants to improve on this.

Amy won't force change on him, she won't want to change him radically because she loves him for who he is. But if she can offer some advice especially if Sheldon wants to change something about himself she will offer it. She is always going to help because that is who she is, it's a large reason why I think Amy is amazing. She has shown she will help her friends or her boyfriend if they ever asked her for it.

Same here. They are the perfect match because they love each other for who they are and help each other to get better together. They have been growing together and this is one of the most beautiful things a relationship can anchieve imo.

And some things have been always there, they only need a litle push to be expressed.  Like when Sheldon could not express how he was thinking that Amy was hot in Star Trek cosplay as he even can't move...

 

And now he realy can express how much he thinks Amy is hot in Harry Potter cosplay...

Something I've been thinking about concerning Sheldon's MRI. He could've been thinking about anything while he was lying there having his brain scanned...trains...superheroes...science...but...no...he's thinking about Amy!! It just melts my heart to think that, even when he's away from her, he's still thinking about her!!:-)

Actually, I noticed yesterday night (after having watched the episode for the 1000000000000000th time, LOL!) that Sheldon was suggesting kind of a sexy role play himself when Amy said she had a surprise for him...Here's the lines...
