Yeah that was my favourite bit of the episode as well. Adorable and so them.

Pretty much everything was perfect with Shamy in this one. So happy to see them do a big time PDA.

This episode just reinforced in the minds of viewers how great a place Shamy are in right now!

I really enjoyed this episode much, not only for how even better are our shamy as couple but also for how grown they are as individuals. It was  very nice the way Sheldon supported Leonard . In  his own way but he worried for his friend and tried to do something for cheering him up , something  really huge for Sheldon. And it really sounded from heart, btw awesome job of Jim as he is nowdays totally exploring new Sheldon facial expression for emotion Sheldon but without changing much the old Sheldon, you know. Chess on 4 A was a nice touch too as the boys have now less free time for their old hobbies but they can manage a  bit for being together as they were used to be.

Amy was on fire! First, my impressions of her as individual. It is so nice to see finaly Amy having her own place in her girlfriends group. For years she did most of things with girls for adjusting to the group. Now she has her opinions and her own  stuff. She was sassy than ever, loved it!  And how in love is Amy for Sheldon, that smile! Sheldon really was late to become a nice boyfriend but now he excells really the job! :)

Btw, Mayim 's performance  was really amazing too, her gridding on Jim when they kissed was so funny but at same time so passionate from Amy, who would just put Sheldon against the wall if she could, lol! Bravo!

About shamy, they are so so great! And so on fire for each other too! They are living a honeymoon phase indeed. Their looks at each other in 4A as they were saying good bye, the touchs, the smiles, the hearteyes! The kiss was amazing and so them. Loved how it started timidly and escalated to something really hot! Did you notice the way their hands took a bit long to leave each other as they were getting apart from the kiss? Boy, they can't  get their hands of each other and that makes me so happy! Go shamy! Show to everyone the love and lust you too hold for each other!

And last but not least, it is so great as shamy still have their own games and have fun each other, something really important in a relationship. So Sheldon loves Godzilla, lol! So he would show Amy how it showers..in their bathtube together, right?

And Sheldon now also drinks, for show how Godzilla get drunk,lol!! Shelley, Shelley who saw you 10 seasons ago and see you now, a man in love and a socialized physicist. So proud of our couple

Good lord, Shamy were some ridiculously adorable cutie pies in this. Fanfic goodness is the new normal. I love it!

I'm not even sure what my favourite part is here. The kiss was great in that it was a good mix of steamy but also funny. The "I miss you" one-upmanship was so cute. But I think was kinda killed me were the Godzilla jokes. It seems exactly like one of those stupid little in-jokes many couples have so seeing them so playful was amazing. Not to mention the idea that Sheldon showing Amy how Godzilla showers is 1) such a totally silly fun thing to do, 2) it shows that he's a lot more comfortable now with Amy seeing him in the shower (compare to 10x05) and 3) it even implies they may be showering together. *squee*

As for the two individually:

I really enjoyed how Sheldon continues to work hard on becoming a better version of himself. For the most part he's just plain nice and supportive in this. I can only imagine that this quest of self-improvement and growth might be part of the reason why he's holding back with that ring. There's still so much he has to learn but he's embracing it and in the end Amy's will get a guy that's top notch husband material. LOL

And Amy was also a lot of fun in this. Loved her hosting girl's night and feeling all popular and being proud about how her relationship with Sheldon is going. Bless. Though of course there was a little snide remark about Sheldon again and Amy didn't look happy about that. Always makes me wonder if one day she snaps and goes into a rant about how Sheldon actually is a great guy and all that, like some passionate little speech about how much she appreciates him and his efforts etc.

I'm still "meh" about how the re-introduction of the RA was handled. Idk if we'll hear something about that again but this feels like a missed opportunity. Oh well. But that's the only even remotely critical thing I can say about this.

All in all, a wonderful episode for Shamy. <3

I love how they are playful with each other and we are slowly finding which characters make them particularly playful, lol! Godzilla, Harry Potter, lol! They are really two peas in the pod  

Oh and writers enjoy to tease us! There are a few hints about what might go on off screen in 4B. Shower and shamy in same sentence, writers, you!!

The "miss you" part made me grin like a mad for the cuteness, the math (so them)! They were not into those pda in past but now it is nice to see them being into them but without being sappy, you know. They incorporate these displays of affection into their favourites matters or in complex discussions, which makes the thing even more valuable, know what I mean?

Next episode is the mutual "I love you". I am today  in that fangirl mode which made my colleagues looking at me suspuciously because my interaction with my mobile!

In  10.15 TR it looks like there might be a scene where they are both in the bathroom (depending on which take they choose), so it seems to be pretty usual for them to share that space...I'm easily entertained too, but that makes me so happy, given where Sheldon is coming from. Anyway, I hope there is no curtain involved when Sheldon shows Amy how Godzilla showers, LOL!

I am easily entertained too and agree totally with you, Sheldon has been really excelsing himself lately. 

It is curious how the bathroom schedule almost made them getting really mad with each other and now we know they share often that space at same time. The bathroom schedule was easily put down after all! Good for them.

Surely there would be no curtain... Godzilla  would spread water all over the bathroom so they would need to be close to each other for Amy to see properly how  Godzilla showers. Behind the curtain they would be!

I think Sheldon and   Amy  along with Howard , quite added to the cheerfulness and comedy of this episode , which could have otherwise easily  become a downer about another married couple fight between Lenny.  

The sweetest , corniest yet quite a brilliant joke of the episode was when Sheldon said if x is I miss you , then he misses Amy x+1 . And Amy's reply about using parenthesis with x+1 , in attempt to indicate she will miss Sheldon even more was utterly adorable and the whole thing was very  charming.

The Godzilla showers jokes and Shamy just simply having fun with each other, in the hotel was great. I really loved that Shamy were just being themselves , with Sheldon enjoying his love of burocracy and Amy taking harp lessons and showing up fully dressed under her robe in the spa LOL ! 

Loved the makeout but what I  loved even more was that smile that Sheldon gave Amy when he looks down at her and gently says he misses her, he  has a beautiful smile but he rarely shows it. And that flirty way he said "Hello , Amy" in the spa, just killed me !

Overall they just seemed pleasant , mature and adult yet very quirky and funny. I also liked that Shamy are gushing about each other, and honestly it didn't feel like a temporary honeymoon phase or anything out of character. The writers have shown how hard they have both worked to make it succeed. Obviously there will be more roadblocks ahead, but in 10x13, Sheldon and Amy seemed  strong enough, to overcome those things now , than ever before .

Wanted to specifically talk about this. I'm not a fan of conflict especially on this show but after all these years of banter/snide comments about Sheldon in front of Amy I wouldn't mind at all seeing her claws come out and put people in their place one day for a brief moment. Not going to lie I have dreamed of Amy putting down Raj, for example this season in the Geology episode he gave her a pretty good excuse to do so lol.

I remember discussing with you during your excellent season reviews about the comments over the years and how it has got to Amy at times. IIRC there was some discussion at the time that it could have possibly played a role in their break-up, Bernadette in particular has said some barbed comments.

Your idea is probably better, a reasonably toned defense and argument. The likelihood is they will keep those gags going, just one of the cheap running ones you have to just live with and the show is full of them for each character.

Yeah, the show will probably always throw around these little barbs between the characters but it also always makes a point about how they are received, in case of both Amy and Sheldon they're not amused at all and sometimes actually look hurt by what was said. The show could easily capitalise on that and turn it into a plot point - and it wouldn't even be the first time. Love Spell is pretty much a case where the teases of the gang went too far and it hurt Amy because she's very much aware of how mean they are about her relationship with Sheldon.

Now, back then she fled to the safety of Sheldon's room and he comforted her. But it's been a long time since then and Amy has become more confident so I think it wouldn't be unimaginable to see that she stands her ground and "her claws come out", to borrow your phrase, instead of fleeing the scene.

Yes, those snide comments by Leonard about throwing Sheldon out of the car and Bernie's barb about Sheldon not being real, just seemed out of place in an episode,  and even a season where I have seen Sheldon genuinely try to improve himself and be sweet. It would have made sense in season 5 or 6 , but not now. You would think, after Sheldon agreed to give 25% of his earnings to Bernie's kid, she would be nicer . It just seems the writers can't come up with more clever things for Leonard or Bernie to say, so they default to the lazy, "let's roll eyes " at Sheldon jokes, no matter how outdated those seem. 

I guess they sometimes roll their eyes at Amy saying weird stuff too, but not to the extent of Sheldon. 

Good thing is that writers have been showing that Shamy enjoy each other, quirks and all, so this is probably not an issue for them , how others perceive them.

If they get engaged maybe that could be a good time for her to do it should someone say something on those lines again? Though I expect if we see them married on the show at some point they will still have those gags. To be fair though I don't think we see as many of those type of gags as often as we did in the past, but we still do get them. Without question we are seeing Sheldon get more annoyed with those gags.

Well maybe 'get one's claws out' is a bit too aggressive lol.  Though Amy having a claws out moment might be pretty tame lol

When I was watching shamy kiss  this morning and noticed specifically the passionate way Amy grided herself into Sheldon's body and as I was watching  her scene with girls where Amy had a warm smile when she spoke about Sheldon, my thoughts were " it would be great if this passionate Amy snaped against those snark remarks their friends usually made about Sheldon. Every week we see Sheldon and Amy getting more open about how they feel to each other and also displaying affection with less hesitation as they are not alone. You said it so well ( as usual  )  that would be so great as Amy gave a kind of lecture filled of passion and love for her Sheldon to those remarks that most of them at moment are like a old stupid habit, as Sheldon is much better in his interactions with their friends. 

It is missing indeed a passionate speech about how great is her man , how she apreciated him and how the others should give him a chance to show how matture he is. Maybe writers can make our wish coming true soon, as this is really the shamy season

I was watching the slow mo gifs of the kiss, you know #forscience !! And they are so in sync , just before the leg lift starts, Sheldon moves forward and his left leg is placed in between Amy's legs - just as Amy goes to grind.....not that I was studying closely or anything lol !!!!
Having just watched the episode again as well, I am grinning so much I'm loving the writers having them so team Shamy this season, their own personal jokes , and very affectionate but still keeping them in character, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this season , thank you writers for showing that everyone is different and once you find the "lid for your pot" so to speak it's you guys against the world quirks and all , adorable , just perfect !
Also - I like how they are showing the character growth for our two not only when they interact together but when they are dealing with their friends as well,I loved the Sheldon caring about Leonard dynamic in this one as well.

Of course, Shamy were on fire. They are shown to be so lovey-dovey, without even trying too much. Amy reminded me a teen at her first crush the whole episode. She seems so happy right now, she gushed over Sheldon as she used to do at the very beginning of their relationship and had that adoring grin on her face. Shamy seemed to be so partners in crime in this one, Amy was so into the Godzilla jokes; also, the shower one is, well...interesting to imagine! Sheldon felt so comfortable in PDAs (the kiss was Shamy-hot, I would say....) and saying nice things to Amy in front of other people. It's clear that they enjoy being together, probably they are still in their honey-moon phase, but they are a delight right now!

Finally, I loved the mention of the RA, I think it's clear it's still on for them, and it has now a "no nostalgia" clause and a "I have to laugh"-clause; those two are not very romantic, but Amy gushing over signing their first RA was a nice touch. 

I loved the role reversals for both Amy and Sheldon: Amy with being the "host" for girls night, and Sheldon for the hot beverage scene where Leonard is the one going through the checklist of asking if hia tea was prepared correctly and Sheldon getting annoyed! I thought that bit was hilarious.

I agree I loved the I will miss you more stuff...so sweet! I thought the kiss was very awkward, not very steamy. It was funny though, and very Shamyesk. In general, I found this episode to be fun to watch...

I just watched the episode and I really liked it.

But of course, like most of us here, I'm always just waiting for the Shamy scenes and this week (again) I was not disappointed. 

I loved their goodbye kiss (obviously) cos it was just so them, like... I'm never expecting it to be too hot and kind of cringy really, I like that it's awkward and weird and imperfectly perfect, like them.

The best part was that 'I'll miss you more" banter between them. I thought it was adorable. Rewatched that part like seven times because it was just perfect.

The rest of the episode was nice. Aside from Lenny and their issues. But honestly, that's not even the sad part. The sad part is that these Lenny fans on here are always being negative when it comes to Shamy, yet we Shamy shippers generally all support Lenny as well. 

Also, just remembered that someone told me, when I first came on here, you need xanax for the Shamy thread and insulin for the Lenny thread. Role reversal much?

This is just a really good season. Someone coined it "Shamy season" earlier and I have to agree. If this is the last season, at least it's ending beautifully for us. Always hoping it isn't the last one though.

I loved the role reversals for both Amy and Sheldon: Amy with being the "host" for girls night, and Sheldon for the hot beverage scene where Leonard is the one going through the checklist of asking if hia tea was prepared correctly and Sheldon getting annoyed! I thought that bit was hilarious.

Last night I rewatched the episode a few times and the tea moment was very funny again. It was a win to Leonard because Sheldon felt how annoying he could be about the perfect food or drink,lol! I loved the moment Sheldon said to Penny that Amy was free for spa because her harp class had been cancelled. The look his face held was like a boyfriend who knew his girls' s events. Then we got a Sheldonesque quote about being like a geizer he knowing about people's lives, lol!  I think the writers had been doing a great job about the Sheldon 2.0 but keeping his main traits, you know.

Some people think the kiss was akward and ooc. I disagree about ooc, shamy has been bonding more as couple since they started to live together and being more confortable about expressing to each other the passion and love they feel. That is really expressed on that kiss, the way Amy got closer to Sheldon's body, how Sheldon's hand pressed hard into her waiste, their legs so close that their above waiste areas could not be more closer. I think the fact they for seconds forgot they were not alone speaks volumes of how confortable they are about the physical side of their relationship.

Awkard? Sure it was just a litle bit. But as Sheldon said once to Amy :"Awkard is our thing!" And we love that, dont we?

Sorry guys that I can not write a extended review, I have a lot of work this weekend (I'm writting this, hoping no one is looking at me ha!) But I'm so happy to see them so good and so in love!! This is the golden season for Shamy, and for what we know, continuous and continuous ...! If this is the last season it will be awesome! (Hope is not).

And my favourite part was the "i'll miss you more" (so sweet) and the godzilla joke, because that means that THEY ARE TAKING SHOWERS TOGETHER!! and that is too much for my heart! *sigh*

have a great weekend, on monday i´ll write more, long live Shamy!
