Bert and Sheldon seem to get along,at least they were good in end of episode Bert won a prize . And it seems they might be talking too much, lol!

Aww, thank you, Trinabeana! I really love the sounds of this. I love that Shamy are having date night, and that they resolve their argument because they're in a mature and loving relationship. <3 I like when they argue, I don't know why. As long as it always ends with them making up of course, lol.

I couldn't care less about how often they have sex, I really couldn't, but I do like that the writers are addressing it and are making plans to delve more into that side of their relationship. I really love the idea of Shamy discussing their sex life. Lol, that makes me sound like a perv I think. But it looks to me that Shamy will break that once-a-year-rule soon, and the writers are probably planning to build an episode out of that.

I hope Shamy don't start having sex more because they're being made fun of. I'm not too worried about this at all, though. I don't get that sense from the details we got, and Shamy have never been the type to conform to "normal" relationships. But if this drives them to have a discussion about their sex life, then that's pretty cool.

Overall, once again, another episode I'm super excited about! :D

What I gathered from the summary was that it was less about how often they have sex or about their sex life, but more about what's appropriate to share with other people. I think Amy is upset because Burt (and all of Caltech, apparently) knows something private about her relationship. 

So I dunno. I'm excited about Shamy date night but I'm not really sure that this discussion will really address the sex once a year thing or their desires. But maybe I'll be surprised.

Okay, after reading the full taping report (thanks so much trinabeana! <3) this sounds super duper cute and sweet. I love that Sheldon has the heart to invite Bert to sit with him because he looks sad. And they're still continuing with this Sheldon reading emotions mini-arc. It has been several episodes this season where it's been brought up. I love that he's trying so hard to get better, and that Amy recognizes this and supports him.

Their make-up scene sounds really sweet and tender, too. Sheldon is trying, and Amy understands him. That's really what it all comes down to. And when Amy screws up - like when she lied to him about her apartment being fixed - he understands her too. It really is such a strong relationship. It's like the writers keep proving over and over how they're in such a good place and I'm just like, "MAKE THEM ENGAGED ALREADY ARGGGGHHHHHHHHH."

Dropping by to say that I love the sound of the latest tr...I agree with rice sheldon that the fight is about people knowing about their sex life, not the quantity itself. We'll have to wait to be sure though.

Anyway, things to look forward to:

1. Shamy date night!

2. Shamy being sweet to Bert and particularly Sheldon's behaviour towards him.

3. A little bit of angst never hurt anyone.

4. The diagram/chart/whatever that was with Shamy in the middle. To me it's a visual sign of Sheldon putting his relationship with Amy above everyone else. Also Sheldon telling Amy about getting his license and why he still lets other people drive him around.

5. Their convo about keeping some things only between them.

6. Sheldon putting everyone in their place at Cal Tech.

*No Valentine's ep though and no proposal. I'm still convinced there will be a proposal in this season.

OMG after reading the long report, This episode it's so sweet !! I can´t wait to watch it!
The scene in bed is glorious, they are the best couple, how tender they are with the feelings of the other and how grown up is Sheldon now, so considered, this season is gold!!! 
And he has his license! woh! Can we have a date that Sheldon pick up Amy for a surprise ride? PLEASE!

And I know that I say it like literally all weeks but THE PROPOSAL IS COMING! *sigh*  chop chop writers, we are waiting for this for almost two years!

Just finished reading the full TR - MANY THANKS @Trinabeana78!! that was impressively detailed!!!

From the descriptions that sounds like such a super cute episode for them, even with the fight. The way it came about made a lot of sense and the way they make up is really sweet. <3

I really like how they continue with a lot of little things they've brought up especially this season. Sheldon has been dropping intimate details about their bedroom activities more than once so it's not that surprising that he also did that at Caltech. Homeboy needs to learn some boundaries and I like that they explicitly talk about this and find a solution. It also fits with Amy's character cause as far back as Love Spell she was shown to be concerned about what people think of them and people not taking their relationship seriously upset her greatly. The idea of their colleagues gossiping about them plays right into that.

I also like that they continue with the idea that Sheldon is really really trying and gets better at interpreting body language and displays of emotion. And I like that Amy continues to support him even in small moments. They're shown to be really working for their relationship and I love that so much!! <3

One detail I find intriguing is the idea that there are some naughty private thoughts that Sheldon still keeps hidden. Naturally, they go for the not-so-naughty reveal that he got his licence two years ago (which actually fits with what he said back then to Leonard, there was much debate if that meant he got his licence but now we have confirmation!) but it surely can work as a seed for a story that reveals some other naughty thoughts... *nudge nudge wink wink

I also like how nice Shamy are to Bert and that he and Sheldon actually have some common interests.

And of course I like when in the end Sheldon tells everyone off. Only then to proceed to drop some private/embarrassing stuff about Leonard. Amy is getting special privacy privileges! LOL

Focusing purely on the stuff that I liked from the TR as this is the thread for supportive comments about our ship and the characters:

- Them going out for a meal, haven't seen much of that recently so that's a plus point.

- Sheldon taking on board what Amy said about being polite and social conventions by inviting Bert to join them and Amy actually being fine with it at that specific moment.

- Slowly Sheldon seems to be coming around to liking Bert a bit more.

-  Sofa thing sounds funny.

- The part of the scene where Sheldon brings in his chart and he apologizes and that he is trying.

- The cafeteria scene at the end and Sheldon trying to correct his mistake and put and end to the gossip.

That's pretty much all I got right now, that might change when I see the episode. Thanks again for the TR report @Trinabeana78!

I have just  read the full taping report and I realy like how it sounds. First and foremost thanks again to @Trinabeana78!! It was amazingly detailed!

It sounds a cute and lovely episode, even with the fight that imo it was fixed  in a way very them. Glad to know Amy was not frustrated for the once in a year but for Sheldon didnt keep their private stuff in their private circle of close friends. I think it was nicely done they had this kind of conversation as they might improve their communication and some bondaries are up about what can be told to others about their relationship, especialy to whom they eventually might tell some more private things.

I really love how this season is showing Sheldon really trying to improve some of the things that he fails yet about body language and emotion stuff. Also I love how Amy doesnt keep to herself anything that makes her upset about something between them and how she is so understanding about Sheldon, as she knows him and as she is aware of the efforts he does to make things between them work. Looking foward to their scenes at their bedroom as the way Sheldon shows Amy he is trying to fix things he messed up seem really sweet.

Two more things I loved. Sheldon had his licence two years ago. It is remarkable as it was something he seemed to not be suceed and he challenged himself into doing it. I am really proud of him. Course he would say that reason for keeping it only to himself , it is our Sheldon, lol!

Sheldon has secrets, and one of them he was hidding from Amy. Now it makes so much sense his understanding behavior when Amy was hidding from him her apt was fixed. Love when the writers put old details connecting with new one that appear in shamy relationship.

And last but not least....so Shelly has naughty thoughts he keeps them hidden. Feeling this might be  brought up soon, hehe!

 

BTW, I love the fact that Bert, Sheldon and Amy are friends. Sheldon has been realy learning to make new friends, no matter the academic level they have

And have I read it well? Sheldon spoke about his and Amy's sex life with Kripke? I just laugh so hard of this tip, lol! Shelley, sometimes you are so naive, lol!

I am very much on the I don't care how often they do it as long as they are both good with the frequency ! - given the "goodbye" kiss in last episode, plus lots of other pointers we know they have the hots for each other, just maybe don't need sex as much.....for now anyway - it's just Shamy quirks and all to me and I couldn't love it more !!!!

Totally agree, next up Proposal I think ( hope, oh pleeeeaaase ) !!!!

It sounds as a nice episode, thanks so much to @Trinabeana78 for the detailed TR! It looks like Amy gets really mad because she doesn't want people to gossip about her sex life, but she hasn't any problem with the once a year thing as it is, and frankly that already was more than obvious by the way this season has been handled up to now. At this point I guess it is just another of Shamy's quirks, that the writers like to underline from time to time, LOL!   I like in the episode, as others have mentioned, that Sheldon is still trying in his effort to be more emphatic with people, and it is very evident, not only with the way he treats Bert, but in particular with Amy. He tries really hard to understand why Amy is mad and then to make up with her. I like that Amy is open about her feelings, there is an effort to communicate (even fighting) with Sheldon, which is very interesting, since that was their first fight. Sheldon doesn't know the protocol, but neither does Amy.  The bedroom scene seems really really sweet, with that chart and Sheldon learning how to put boundaries where needed and protect his relationship. I also like there are secrets and things he takes for himself (as I'm sure also Amy does...); it's healthy in a relationship, IMO, to have some private place just for yourself. 

As for the cute and fluffy part, the date night at the Mexican restaurant sounds very nice, I hope we see them in their date night dresses, I miss them. Plus...Sheldon has his driver's license! How cute is that? There were hints in S. 8 he was on his way to make it and now we know for sure he followed through with that! And he decided to share this with Amy!!!

Not for the first time, either. LOL . Sheldon went into great detail of the squishing and bathing suit parts when it suited him to let Kripke think he was too distracted to write a paper as good as Kripke's.
