Growing up the way he did he obviously would be familiar with certain terms like "living in sin" which he used here to provoke her. But I don't think he has any moral qualms himself. It's something we could only speculate about. He's certainly tossed the religion aside, I agree, so it's just a question of whether he considers that topic to have been an entirely religious lesson or a more general ethical one.
