This has literally been my #1 wish for YEARS! I have been desperately tweeting articles to Bill for ages hoping that he would get the hint! LOL! And this is EXACTLY the topic I had in mind!!!! You have no idea how much I've been spazzing all morning and I can't get anything done for the excitement. I can die and go to heaven now, the show can get cancelled, the apocalypse may come (although, if it could wait until I see how Game of Thrones ends, it would be much appreciated) and I couldn't care less.

Me too and can't help myself: another day to include in my silly smile at my face days list  probably made by my colleagues by now. Poor guys, I am such a weirdo, LOL!

But the science has to be celebrate everyday, especially when shamy is involved together in it! <3

I am so happy today and it was only a shamy science project! A shamy science project together!!!

I really hope it's an arc that lasts at least until the end of the season. Or one of those plots that pop up here and there across next season. There's a lot that can be mined here and, if they are to be realistic, it's not the kind of stuff you work on for a week and then drop it.

i HAVE AN I DEA FOR A PROPOSAL (sorry that's all i care about now)

 i want to play a game with you guys some of the shamy fans have there take of a Shamy Propsal and i wanted to make it into a game see who is gonna be the best  this is my take on Sheldon Proposing to Amy

it’s been 6 months since Amy last saw Sheldon before he was jetted off to Iraq to join the navy the bed felt empty without  Sheldon in it next to her and the house felt empty without Sheldon holding her in the kitchen while she cooked amy was in her room looking at the last pic she took with Sheldon it was when she was graduating from UCLA and Sheldon was there with her smiling so proud of her he was really in love 

 

Sheldon was on the plane from Iraq to California to see the gang and Amy he missed Amy all he kept thinking about was her long brown hair that looked like a duckling stuck in a oil spill and her laugh how she some times fakes it to make him happy oh how her loved her laugh as he got off the plane  he walk to to the outside and called Leonard

“Hey Leonard can you come pick me up?’

“Why can’t you ask Amy?”

“Because i want to surprise her please”

fine wait there”

After An hour Leonard picked Sheldon  up at the airport

“good to have you back buddy”

“thanks Leonard how is Amy doing?”

“sorry buddy not so good buddy after you left for Iraq she has been a mess he really misses you”

“ok leonard can i tell you something?”

“sure buddy what’s up”

“i am gonna ask Amy to marry me”

“what when where why how”

“today when i get home can you take to me the jewelry store before going home”

“sure buddy”

It took 30 mintues to get from the jewelry and 30 mintues to the Apartment

“ok Leonard you have Amy intyour apratment right”

:yeah why?”

“ok you keep her over there while i make an entrance”

“of course you will”

Leonard entered the house and Amy was on the couch

“hey Amy are you ok”

“i miss my sheldon” Amy said sadly

“i know you do but soon he will arrive and you will be happy”

“Really? When?”

“sooner then you think” Sheldon said entering the room

“Oh my GOD” Amy said crying and running and hugging Sheldon

“Amy, look, I guess on every mission I’ve ever been on I’ve never felt that type of fear. Ever. And going through I thought you  were with someone else, I was terrified.”

“So was i i didn’t know you were dead or Alive”

“Amy I…I love you. 

“ I love you too.”

Amy..” shedlon said getting down on one knee

“Amy farrah fowler will you make me that happies man in the world and Marry me”

“yes sheldon yes” Amy said crying and jumping in her arms

If the plot had anything to do with that , that would be so awesome! Paraphrasing the article, as the understanding of the base machinery of the mind mighy be connected with the possibility that quantum processing with nuclear spins might be operative in the brain , this would sound so shamy! Thank you writers for such briliant idea for a plotline. It could not be about this article but I hope writers can make a nice story arc about this project of shamy. They have two years for creating such great shamy plotlines, let's go writers! Keep it up

Oh my, when I read the latest TR information, I almost passed out, because this is so freaking exciting!

 

A dream is coming true for us, Shamy are working together on a scientific project!!!

I hope the writers extend this story arc, like they did with the cohabitation experiment, because I would love to see them working together at work  and continue their work at home, because they are so into this project, that they both get addicted to it, throwing ideas at each other and rooting for each other in order to excel themselves mentally, doing experiments to boost their thinking processes, etc.

I´m sure it ignite a firework of brainstorm meetings, which will end in hot make out (and surely sex!!), because they get turned on, by their conversations.

I can totally see them waking each other, discussing over ideas which just came to their mind or they do some overtime at the university, which make their friends scratch their heads.

The possibilities are endless, my mind is near to explode, I´m bouncing up and down all day, fangirling.

Please writers, don´t leave this plot, like you did with other plots in the past!

I would love to see Shamy succeed at it and get an award for it! *drifting into dream mode*

One of my all time favorite episodes is the Troll Manifestation, obviously because of Amy's fan fiction reveal but also the mature way Leonard and Sheldon co-authored that research paper. I am hoping something similar perhaps even better and sweeter than those scenes should they get to the stage where they co-author a paper. 

This storyline could be like a one or two episodes thing that barely gets mentioned or something longer-term and truly amazing. I'm really hoping for the latter lol.

Well, the thorny issue of which name should come first in the paper should arise. In theoretical work, such as the first paper Shelnard wrote together, the alphabetical order is often customary, while for biology and applied sciences other rules usually apply; it could be interesting to see how they solve the problem...or they could just get married, so that Cooper is the first name in the paper either way, LOL! Just kidding, of course, as I said many times I hope Amy keeps her maiden name after her marriage!

Yes! I've been saying for years that it would be a total waste for this show not to play on the Curie symbolism with Shamy since they're literally the only couple on the show that can do that. Howard and Bernie could only feasibly work together if they build biological weapons (LOL). But physics and neuroscience these days are a total power couple in academia! Furthermore, they could get Howard involved later on too if they want to play around with neuromorphic circuits. (I need to stop before I get carried away).

Regarding authorship... You can have joint first authors when both authors have contributed equally. It's usually a little asterisk by the names that is footnoted as "these authors contributed equally to this work". What would be good to see for a change is a plot where there's finally a move on from the usual "Sheldon wants all the credit" stuff.

Oh, interesting, I didn't know about that possibility, it seems fair. In general in theoretical work the order as I said is strictly alphabetical and you assume all authors contribute equally to the paper; actually, a strong hint when it isn't the case is that the order in authorship is not alphabetical, which happens very seldom nowadays, anyway.

Agree April, I'd love to hear a bit more about this taping if we're lucky ! But so grateful for what we have I wonder how it got decided and if any sexual tension was hinted at following the snark #forscience! , so far it sounds like they are totally on the same page I LOVE they set rules and decided together what worked best for them working together - hilarious its snark lol !

Yeah, it's quite common in my field, at least. Even theoretical work in neuroscience usually goes by order of contribution, rather than alphabetical order. 

And YES SNARKY BANTER! I just love when they get all sassy at each other about their respective fields. I am actually really tempted not to read the full report and just go into this unspoiled to surprise myself with it. We don't have to wait that long for this one, right?

Actually after the episode on March 9th there is a two weeks hiatus for a baseball (I think...) tournament, so the 10.19 should air on March 30th. Sad that we have to wait more than usual, but it looks like the episode is worth it!

Unfortunately we'll have to wait quute a bit. Tomorrow it's 10.18 and 10.19 will air on March 30th, because of the basketball tournament.

On the bright side, there's another taping next week to keep as going. Also I imagine 10.18 will generate quite a lot of talking. :D

New sneak peek for tomorrow episode is up! It has PALS in it, it's the scene on the stairwell where Sheldon displays empathy towards Raj and Leonard and Penny can't believe to their ears! The jokes Leonard made about medications are not so funny, though, Sheldon and Amy seemed not very amused too...I love when Amy is on Sheldon's side when people mock him!
