I sense shamy cuteness ahead, with or without proposal! <3

How is suppose I calm down after this? My brain is overloaded with speculation.

It's a possibility, but believe me a baby at the zoo at halley's age is a bad bad idea

Why? She'd be sleeping in her stroller for the most time anyway.  ... Which is probably a good argument that it may not be Howardette cause taking a baby to the zoo would be more for the parent's enjoyment anyway if they're into that. So yeah...

Probably she is way to young to  appreciate the trip...but I can totally see Shamy taking her there, they love zoos and I guess they are not the kind of baby-sitter who do just things kids like!

I'm assuming halley is 3 months old, Spendind a day outside with your 3 months old baby, specially if it's the first one, involves leaving home like if you were to spend a week in the desert, you arrive at the zoo with the baby sleeping and at the second enclosure she is crying like mad, one hour later you have visited all the toilettes, two hours later you are overwhelmed because it's hot and you are afraid she gets dehydrated, buy lunch time you are tired of pushing the baby car, takes half an hour arguing with your husband and has seen two animals.

My own experience

I'm trying to wrap my head around these pictures..  It's only the 2nd day of the rehearsal week and it doesn't appear that they built a special set.  I've seen that space before in pictures, that gallery wall up above, the P/A painting lives there when not in use.  If today was a Monday, I would thing that they are pre-taping, but it's Thursday.  It's possible they wanted a live animal for a scene they are planning and the only day the sloth was available was today, so maybe they are taping background action for a scene they will pre-tape on Monday editing in the sloth?

Anywho..Paco isn't a koala or a monkey, but a sloth...what a metaphor for the Shamy relationship. lol!

@Anita just described what a nightmare can it be...which, IMO, in Shamy case would be hilarious!!! But I don't recommend that with RL-babies, LOL!

By the time the episode airs she'd be 4 months old not that it would make much of a difference. Point taken. lol

Yeah, that sounds plausible.

I'll probably crack up if they manage to squeeze in a cheesy line about how Shamy's relationship is moving as slow as a sloth or something. LMAO

Shamy might visit zoo with Halley as they might think  she should contact with nature as soon as possible and it is something they both enjoy to visit. As bonus we could find out shamy enjoy to babysitting Haley but in not very conventional places for her age. And a visit to a zoo doesnt mean it could be the whole day. First time I went to a zoo with my niece she was one year and half old and although she was older than Halley and already walked  , we were there just for the morning. A baby in a stroller could spend nicely a morning there with her lovely uncle Sheldon and aunt Amy :)

i have so many arguments against that, but of course my point of view in a real life situation, for comedy porpouses all is possible. I have a very good story at the zoo when my daugther was 2 too, and at the amusement park at 3.

Fair enough. Aunt time spent with niece is not so much as  time spent with mother or father so the chances of great stories tend to be yours, parents :)

For comedy purposes, we know almost everything is possible.

And last but not least, shamy+ baby+ zoo, even a bit unrealistic, it could be hilarious, dont you think? :icon_cheesygrin:

On that picture from Mayim's Facebook page, you can see the corner edge of a little plaque. I'm guessing it's the beginning of 'Three-toed Sloth'. Seems like a zoo exhibit to me.

Totally.

This is a job for Lenny.

No, sorry. I don't think this is Lenny's JOB.

I agree with @Jonny, I hope they will interact with Howardette. Needless to say, I want some Howard/Amy, Sheldon/Bernadette scenes so badly!!!

Or, like @April said, Sheldon figures this out by himself.

But either way, I want Shamy hanging out with Howardette! :icon_cheesygrin:

I think Sheldon, like Leonard,  is an 'indoor cat'.

Sheldon and Amy often visit zoos and aquariums. In the tiara episode in S. 5, Sheldon said " We go to the zoo all the time. She knows my koala face" and when he offered her the aquarium tickets in the Thanksgiving episode in S. 9 he also implied it was something he/they often do. Sheldon is an indoor cat, but probably he doesn't mind to look at other animals as long as they are in their cages.

Yeah, I think Shamy are the only characters ever established that they're into such activities.

I really enjoyed their little aquarium trip and I'd love if with this little sloth exhibit we could see a similarly cute trip but this time to the zoo.

Anyway, it's the 24th already here so:

Here's to the best captain a ship can wish for: Happy Birthday, Jim Parsons!

Long may he continue to campaign for all the things we want! lol

I've just remembered that last Friday Jim said he was not going to be on the air with his radio show today. Is that possible they were rehearsing yesterday and today  they are actually shooting the scenes with the sloth?

Oh, yes, the man that puts into words all our wishes for Shamy and usually gets his way and makes them become true!!!! Happy birthday!!

PS: I know he is so committed to his work, so the previous part of my post might still stand, I don't think he might have decided to skip a show to celebrate his birthday, LOL!!!

You never know, maybe Todd has something special planned for him??

But yeah, the idea that they have a busy day at set that prevents him from doing the show makes just as much sense.

Oh yeah, good catch ! Maybe the sloth has a super busy social life and could only fit the Big Bang in around that !!! Lol ! Yeah I'm also sure he doesn't want to pack too much into his working day to celebrate with Todd later :)
