Ship Zone [Spoilers] Shamy: Season 10

That's the spirit...I mean, it's a fact that, if we only insist long enough, the writers listen to us; that happened with Sheldon and Amy living together, with their science project going on, I know there were fan-fics about Shamy being both into HP and I can name many other things (like for example Lenny redo). So, what do we want? Come on, the writers are among us, LOL!

My personal wish list:

- As many of you want the show to give up to this idea of constantly teaching Sheldon a lesson. Let him be the straight man for once, with Amy, but also with some of his friends. I want a plot where Amy is the messy one, or the scared one, or the weird one, and Sheldon is there for her.

- I want Amy's family on the show, I want to know what happened to her dad, to meet her mother not just on Skype and to understand what kind of person she is. During the years, I thought she was a well-meaning but old-style woman that for some reason just over-protected her daughter from the world, maybe because she realized she was different and didn't want her to be hurt because sometimes it hurts to be different. But then we got that awful episode where the "sin closet" appeared and that changed the opinion I had of her. At this point, I don't know who Mrs. Fawler is.

- Can we overcome the once-a-year-thing or, at least, can we choose a different day from Amy's birthday? It's getting creepy, next year the gang will be celebrating Halley's first birthday, so I assume there will be a children party with clowns (if Sheldon is not afraid of them anymore), balloons and all the jazz. How can the writers tie it up with sex? I know that I've said something like that also about 10.11 and I was proven wrong since the writers did a good job in that episode mixing up Halley's birth with Coitus 2.0 (elephant pregnancy apart), but, you know...move on, writers?

- Can Sheldon propose in a reasonable time and without too much drama or doubts on Amy's part if he doesn't make up his mind as soon as we hope?

I would write my wish list in detail  but it is pretty same as yours. Mostly right now I hope a quirky and sweety way of Sheldon propose Amy as he is ready for it and no because someone made pressure for it to happen or someone may have sugested him to do it.  And  the once in year thing must be killed off as soon as possible. Because imo what shamy have been showing through their emotions to each other as they are very confortable living together and sharing touches, kisses and other litle details which proove they could not be more confortable physically and emotionaly  as a couple  , putting them to have sex only in Amy's birthday is too much non sense in light of their most recent character development. And that  reason writers may claim that Sheldon need to  be in charge as he want everything following rules and schedules had already fallen to pieces long time ago as he is in some occasions  who is more into touching  Amy and he had even already being very flirty to her often . And I dont buy Amy might have reserves about their sexual life. She seems very confortable with the way both lead their relationship in all fields. It is on writers hands to put some plotlines happening on screen.

Writers  please show us how good shamy could do as they live their  sexual life  nicely as every couple else. They are two capable individuals able to get a balanced relationship physically as much as they  have it in emotionally and intelectally therms.

Two whole seasons for all shamy goodness writers may provide. Let shamy  do everything they deserve to be happy! We will watch and cheer for our beloved couple. Always

According to Mayims IG they are on hiatus. I'm confused I thought the next three episodes, 10-22, 10-23, & 10-24. Have yet to be taped and are usually done for the summer by the end of April. Did I miss one?! Haha

By hiatus she doesn't mean the summer hiatus,  just a week break; they will tape the next episode on April 18th and start working on it on April 12th.

A few random thoughts rattling around in my head while sitting in the basement this afternoon waiting for storms to pass...Someone who knew Franklin Roosevelt well once said that he was a loner who liked to have people around.  This explanation is helpful when reading about how FDR would spend extended periods of time building ship models or playing with his stamp collection, completely ignoring all others in the room.  Sheldon has often been depicted - and described by Amy - very much the same way.   At other times, he needs affirmation and someone to drive him to wherever.   

One thing I noticed about the episode with the emotion detector - and as you all know, that's one of the longest consistent themes in the show, ever since the iconic scene where Leonard holds up the "SARCASM" sign for Sheldon when he's being yelled at by Penny.   But in this recent episode, when Amy and he are talking, she equates his lack of perception to her needing to wear glasses.  Acknowledging that it is part of his biological make up, just as being near-sighted is for her.  He can be a jerk, but he can't help a lot of it.  Some of it - yes. All of it - no. 

I think the folks here have had some interesting ideas for how to focus on various characters on the show.  I am just reluctant to introduce new characters. I'm looking forward to the upcoming Penny and Sheldon laundry room scene.  We haven't seen them there in a while.  Next stop, the Cheesecake Factory?

My DVR cut off early and I didn't get to see the preview for next week.  When Raj asks Sheldon what attracted him to Amy, it sounded like he said "her mind" and then added "mostly her body" and then Amy said to Raj "relax..." The closed captions/subtitles don't work on previews, so I'm not 100% sure that's what's said.   If someone sees this exchange somewhere and can tell me where to find it or tell me what he says, I'd appreciate it.  Shamy was cute tonight, even if it wasn't a big episode for them.

Just watched the episode - I loved it !!
It was a funny episode also with some very cute Shamy - a lovely balance
Amy singing soft kitty was adorable - they are just too cute together !!!!
Plus we solved the mystery of the blue thing in Sheldon's mouth in the promo pics !!!

I have really enjoyed the episode , more than I thought I would.  Sheldon has been really growing to an adult, it was nice to see how he handled with he being sick as he did not make anyone's life a hell as he was used to make in past. It was funny how he divided his time to both projects and showing his geniality is the same but the scientist is really a better man now. 

The scene at laundry room was a great comparassion between past Sheldon and present Sheldon, Penny really had great points  there, lol. 

The Country bar sequence was very funny, especially the scene of promising not telling the military secrets between Sheldon and bar costumers.  The black board with Sheldon's  notes cracked  me up and also because  he told everyone. Sheldon can't be alone with strangers as he split almost everything of his life, lol! The only thing there I thought it could have been much better was the dance scene. It lasted what, 10 seconds? 

The interactions between shamy are really getting even better every week, if that's  possible as they are already so good! The breakfast scene was lovely for Amy concern and Sheldon adult atitude. I only would live without the butter joke but that's  okay, lol! 

Tag scene became one of my favourite shamy scenes! It was so funny for Amy's quirkyness as she knew all those languages for a simple song and for Sheldon's s contentment as he listened to his girl singing Soft Kitty to him playing a type of harp, something he mocked het in past and now is visible he enjoys  to listening her playing .  And Amy rubbed Sheldon's chest with vick! I was watching the scene and remembering those old show times I wished Sheldon had a girl for take care of him in moments like sick time and not his mother or Penny. Thank you wtiters, Sheldon is now in a very happy relationship and his growth is something very nice and tender to see. Really curious what this season could come up more to add to the perfection shamy have been  this season . Using Neflix rating system, I would give a  thumb up on this one.

I loved the episode too! It was funny and lighthearted, one of those classic TBBT episode! I liked Sheldon so much in this one, he came across as an eccentric genius rather than a weird guy who happens to have good ideas from time to time (as he sometimes is portrayed in the show nowadays); he was really brilliant! Plus, he got sick but wasn't the usual pain in the back with everybody, he was cranky, but not a child...I loved also Shamy in this one! "What happened to our love?" might be my favourite line in the episode! Amy was not mothering Sheldon at all, even when she sang Soft Kitty to him that was just a loving girlfriend taking care of her boyfriend; probably it helped he didn't say in a childish voice "Sing Soft Kitty to me, please?!?" as he did with his mother or Penny, LOL! And the fact Amy sang it in German, Mandarin, etc, made it "their thing"; BTW, German and Chinese folks, was it translated faithfully?

As for other miscellaneous stuff about the episode, I liked Sheldon and Penny laundry scene, because it had  "good old times"-vibes, with a fair amount of playful snark. Finally, I guess they edited a lot! There was very little Sheldon dancing or dancing in general (the videos from Kaley's sister IG contained a much more elaborated choreography). Sorry about that!

I have just seen the sneak and I almost spilled my orange juice! After that Sheldon's look at Amy as he said her body,Amy mentioned her organs! Those two, LOL!!

The reason Sheldon is attracted to Amy's body is because they are the same blood type and he can harvest organs...or something. That was the joke I guess.

I think this plot is very original and interesting.

when everyone(as in every casual viewers and fans) thinks this is another old joke about sex, turns out this is literally about human body.

I think it is very “Shamy”.

I haven't seen the promo, but I laughed just reading you guys' posts.

I agree with everything you say. I loved Shamy in the TAG, Amy singing soft kitty was nice. It was my favorite part. I liked that Sheldon wasn't really acting like a giant baby and I also liked that Amy showed empathy towards him . I'm glad they are continuing with the Shamy science collaboration..also nice to see a laundry room scene with Shenny too.

I didn't really have any expectations for this but it turned out really cute! <3 There isn't really anything I actually dislike so good job, show!

I really appreciated Sheldon not being a big baby at all about being ill. Heck, he wasn't even cranky! So thank goodness that episode last year wasn't for nothing! YAY!! Amy taking care of him played out really sweet.

Sheldon being such a terrible germ spreader had me squirm though. For goodness sake, do not sneeze onto your hand... or on someone's toast. LOL

A fun light episode with some nice, cute interactions between Shamy.

Way better than any of the other Sheldon is sick therefore being an ass episodes they have had in the past so I found that rather refreshing.

What she lacked in pronunciation she got in attitude, I loved her funny expressions when she sang in German and Mandarin, those were the most hilarious part of the scene!
