Yes, pretty much all the episode is covered at this point, they should have made a sneak peek with the proposal and get over with it, LOL! Anyway, I don't mind that way of advertising either, they have done that before, Lenny wedding or Shamy coitus are the most recent examples. Also, it looks like people on social media haven't taken the bait, I was thinking that with Jim saying that "it is an earthquake more than a cliffhanger" and "the world will change" was being too obvious and everybody would have understood Sheldon is going to propose. But I read also a lot of "Amy is pregnant" over there, so maybe for casuals it's not so obvious. I hope in many more interviews tomorrow, I really need Molaro to answer some questions. And I swear I won't screaming at him if he says that the fate of Shamy is still to be determined and everything can happen, LOL!

Indeed. I read a lot of "Amy is pregnant", too. And they even provided their reason:"Considering what happened in 1023..."

And combined with what JP said in the interview:"I think the entire future hinges on tomorrow's episode..."

So, now, they are convinced that "Amy is pregnant", because THAT would totally be "the big surprise".  :icon_cheesygrin:

I love so much how these are so wrong, lol! Because the cliffhanger will be really a huge surprise and something big to them, they might need a few hours to process the info, hehe! Besides, Shamy has plenty of time for having babies, their future really hinges on that ring now :)

And this is it! Happy season finale, guys!

I am so looking foward to seeing Sheldon on his knee proposing a schocked Amy! And also to see all gang protecting shamy from Ramona evil scheme, lol!

This is really exciting! Can't  wait for watching the episode  and discussing every detail with you guys! :)

Btw I saw a wonderful shamy kisses gifset on Tumblr but as I dont know if I could share it here. So I decided to share one gift from one of my favourites shamy moments from this season. Because they know make spontaneous frenzied lovemaking and that makes really this shipper happy!

Gosh, this season was gold for our adorable couple. Can not wait to get my DVD and also watch what s11 will bring to them!

Ps: Sheldon Cooper flirty look is priceless! Love it!

Happy New Episode Day everyone! :)

Wow, final time I can say that for Season 10!

Is it just me or has this season gone really fast? What's the old adage "Time flies when you are having fun"? I have had a lot of fun and enjoyment on so many levels watching our favorite couple this season, unquestionably the greatest Shamy season ever! Absolutely beyond my wildest dreams or expectations for the season!

Just as important to me personally, I have really enjoyed talking about the show with everyone on the forum especially with my fellow Shamies during Season 10. We have a great community here and a real sense of friendship and camaraderie on the forum. Sure we sometimes disagree on some things (it would be a boring place if we all agreed on everything lol) but we all love Shamy that is without question.

Here's to two more years of watching our favorite couple and hopefully more amazing Shamy stories to discuss, debate and enjoy!

Me too! It has been amazing to talk with all of you and to know all your opinions and thoughts about everything shamy related. It has also been great to see the several angles tbbt fans have about same things as they analyse the storylines and it is really interisting to me, as it is useful for my background as viewer and shipper. Most of time all opinions here complete ones to others which really reflects how great is this community in therms of camaraderie. We could not agree all time but the respect and sense of help is mutual and permanent, factors that made me hooked to this community since my first day here.Hopefully we will have lots of great storylines to discuss for the next two years. My days are not complete without a bit of shamy stuff shared here with you all. :)

Cheers to our adorkable couple!

Btw, earlier I forgot to mention that I am also looking foward so much to seeing shamy Skype calls in tonight's episode. It is really one of my favourites shamy things. And now the flirty tone make them so much better, even they were already so good, hehe!

I've done a rough list off the top of my head and there is 15 currently written down on paper lol. And I plan to re-watch them all once I have them all recorded next week so that might increase lol.

For sure It will be easier than having to do a Seasons 3-10 ranking of moments, but there has been that many great Season 10 moments I am expecting some headaches lol trying to whittle that list down.

I think it will be fun if we create our own "Awards" about Shamy in Season 10.

Like: The Best Hug, The Best Kiss, The Funniest Moment, The Funniest Dialogue, The Most Heartfelt Scene, etc, etc.  And we can attach the related GIF pictures to them.

And, then, we can make a Wish List of Shamy in Season 11(and 12).

PS: These are some of my small contributions for this thread to reach 500 pages. :superman:

It goes without saying that I can't wait to see tonight's episode....seeing Sheldon down on one knee asking Amy to marry him ( just give me a minute while I scream into my pillow!! ) is something I've tried to picture in my head many times and still can hardly believe it's about to get real!!

I'm going to have a re watch of every season 10 episode with pen and paper in hand because there have been so many amazing, wonderful, joyous, awesome, beautiful ( can you all tell how much I've loved this season?? lol ) moments for our favourite couple that I need to take notes to help me compose my list of top 10 ( or 20!! ) Shamy scenes:)

I think if we do that or a top ten list we can easily fill pages to get to 500 pages. Love this idea!

Does everyone here buy into the idea that it's totally up to the man to decide when to get married?  Do we all still really live in that world?

A proposal seems silly, to me, when Amy has made it abundantly clear for YEARS she'd like to get married.

I don't think it is totally up to the man but in this situation I would say it is. I think we all know the answer will be yes as you said she has made it abundantly clear she wants to get married. Sheldon had to be the one to say okay let's do this. Plus we know he has had the ring for two years and Amy's known for a year so she was waiting for him to say it's time.

It was like Mary said...."You have to take your time with Shelly."  Amy waited and the reward will be great.

No not these days, you see more women proposing to their partner compared to the past.

However, I would still reckon the vast majority are still carried out by the man. A woman receives an engagement ring so maybe a lot of people do think it should be the man who does it. Think about it, if a woman suddenly proposes then her partner will likely have to go and then get ring to give to her. If a man proposes usually he has a ring on hand and ready.

Anyway in this particular scenario it makes sense that Sheldon does it. Because Amy knows about a ring, and I get the strong impression she wants him to do it rather than take the initiative herself. Amy is a bit of an old romantic, she wants her moment lol.

Exactly! I really hope writers will write such a nice and heartfelt scene for this Amy's moment. She really desserves it and surely Sheldon would response to her "yes" in such happy way too! Only thinking about it makes me all warm and fuzzy, hehe!*sigh*

I live in a world - academics, actually - where the engagement ring is pretty much extinct.

Well, in tbbt world these rings are not extint at all! Bernie had one, Penny too and Amy surely will have one as well :)

I don't but the way the Shamy relationship is set up Sheldon will have to do it. He's the one of the two who has been the most resistant to change in the relationship that if Amy proposed first it would come across as her being fed up with waiting and trying to push pressure on Sheldon when he's potentially not ready. It would be ugly anyway you looked at it.

I would have loved something more bureaucratic for a Shamy proposal (no ring, just simply acknowledging that marriage was a viable option for them) or that Amy had simply stated at some point that they "should" have gotten married with Sheldon agreeing to it, and I wouldn't have found it OOC for them at all. The point is that, once the writers made the ring appear in S. 8 finale, and above all after they made Amy know that a ring exist, all those options become inapplicable and less and less appealing. It is canon that Sheldon was contemplating marriage but was not ready for that. If Amy had broached the subject, for many people that would have been another example of the push and pull dynamic that has characterized Shamy for some time and that has created a lot of problems between them (and also their break up). So, you work with what you are given...In my ideal world, there is no need for a formal proposal for Shamy, but canon has told me otherwise for two years now.

Enjoyed seeing a lot of publicity this week (articles, interviews, photos, video interviews with the cast etc). Part of me kind of wished that had done more of it during the course of the season.

This is so exciting I can't wait to see it!

I guess I will skip sleep, I'll be unable to sleep because I'm so excited.

For me shamy would not need a formal proposal to get married  either as it would not be ooc for both. But that ring need to have its moment, lol!

Seriously, what realy makes me happy is Sheldon was who proposed. I am not saying this because I think the man has to do it in a relationship because I think any of member of the couple could do it. Because it will be clear that Sheldon had felt zero pression about the subject  from Amy 's part as there are viewers who would think it would not sound as an "yes"  from the heart if was Amy who proposed or spoke about the subject to Sheldon.

Course who watch the show paying attention to all details know that Sheldon and  Amy want badly to spend the rest of their lives together.  The ring is  only one  step to the marriage arrangements.  Only a formality needed for some.
