Ship Zone [Spoilers] Shamy: Season 10

I want them to talk about Ramona and so on, while they are on their feet and not sitting on the couch, so after they have cleared things, I want Amy to say yes and jump at Sheldon, her arms wrapped around his neck and his legs around his waist, while Sheldon caresses her thighs and they kiss passionately.

The unique thing about Shamy is that they do everything in there own special way. I am anxious to see how they handle the proposal in season 11. My trust in the writers is at a minimum so I am running through all worse case scenarios in my head. Here's hoping for some Shamy awesomeness. 

I think they still only have eyes for each other, both had the opportunity to move on and try something different (In Amy's case she actually did) and yet they were drawn back to each other in the end. The Ramona factor was all Ramona, she had her own agenda at play there. Sheldon didn't at all bite.

I think overall they have done an amazing job this season by actually getting back a bit to some of the 'allure of the mind' stuff (which you have seen in their conversations, Buridan's donkey, the project they started working on together etc) they had going in their early relationship which was probably lost a little over Season 8 and Season 9.

But then you have the added bonus of the more physical, affectionate and intimate side of their relationship on display as well. I think they got that balance spot on. They are back a little to their quirky, weird, nerdy part of their relationship but also a couple clearly in love and not afraid to express that as well.

They are kind of perfect right now imo, can't think of anything else I would like to see or perhaps change.

I guess I just wish the bolded part didn't have to happen. lol I get it though. 

To be honest I have not re watched season 9 or season 10, I may feel differently when I am able to see the episodes back to back. I always say you can't really judge a season until you re watch cause when it airs you have to wait sometimes weeks between episodes. Especially unspoiled, I sometimes have expectations from promos for episodes that don't live up.

I take the view that if it hadn't of happened (Season 9 drama) then would we be seeing what we are seeing now? I seriously doubt it. Sometimes it takes something to shock you or some painful experience that changes your ways. I very rarely watch that period/some of those episodes anymore but I 100% acknowledge their importance, also some fantastic acting in them.

Yeah a re-watch sometimes does change your mind or the feelings you get on some episodes, just finished mine for 'April's Top 10 Shamy Spectacular' lol. I'll be doing another re-watch just before Season 11 starts being taped and aired.

Each person built their  own track on life from the good and the bad experiences they lived and for harder the bad were in end something good came up for their future. Shamy needed that breaking up , both of them , for putting in perspective what they really meant to each other and what they expected from the other. I am glad for everything that they have lived. Even the most recent events in s10 finale will make much sense as we know how things will happen to both in s11 beginning. I still hate Ramona had to show but it might help shamy in someway  as Dave kind of  helped as well.

 I was not much into reruns of shows before,  tbbt became an exception. It is so wonderful as I revisit how shamy was in beginning and how they involved to each other and with others (family, friends) for they be just like they are now. It is been really a great journey as a viewer and shipper that I can not get  enough of doing everytime I have free time for that.

About the "April's Top 10 Shamy spectacular" I am in trouble.  Rewatched 6 episodes and I have already 5 Shamy favourite.  18 episodes yet and only 5 more to pick up. I am so doomed, LOL!

Like, yes, maybe Sheldon would have latched onto Ramona as a new friend and all that but I think the moment things would have gotten more serious he would have backed out. Much like he closed the door on that seemingly perfect Vanessa girl that showed up on his doorstep he would have turned Ramona down for an equally flimsy reason. I don't think the writers actually have it in themselves to let Sheldon even be tempted by another woman (as per one of Molaro's recent interviews) so I wouldn't be particularly worried.

Happy Sunday, Shamies!!! I was thinking about Amy's family...The engagement makes more likely that finally we have a closer look at Amy's parents, for example (even journalists asked Molaro if there would have been this kind of stories for Shamy in S. 11). Apart the long-standing question about his father being in the picture or not, I was wondering...Do you think Sheldon will be 100% old-fashioned and formally ask Amy's parents (or her mother, if her father is not around) for her hand in marriage? How are they gonna react? Do they like Sheldon? The first impression with Amy's mother was not  the best possible...

Interisting questions you raised here. I would love and I hope honestly we finally get to know more from Amy's family as shamy stepped in the proposal zone and it would bring nice and funny situations for our couple. Fingers crossed!

About  Sheldon formally asking for Amy's  hand in marriage to her parents, I think it would be a bit too formal to the show as it had kept the others proposal more simple and among close friends. Course the writers might choose do a bit different with shamy but as shamy is not a too conventional  couple, I can see them doing the all engagement/wedding more simple and discreet. I just wish somewhere between  Amy says yes to Sheldon and the wedding ceremony arrangements we could  see something really quirky from Sheldon or from Amy about all of this! Star Wars or Little house in prairie could give a nice touch, lol!

Btw, shamy could go back from Princeton married that I would not mind. We could see the all stuff in flashbacks  as we also see everyone's  reaction, especially Mrs Cooper, lol!

And Amy could wear anyway a tiara that Sheldon provided as she would mention hers was at their place. Our Shelley surely would fix the problem. I know , most of you want to see a very detailed wedding but for me as long I see wedding bands on their fingers, it would be just fine

If you can get voting people! The greatest Shamy season ever deserves to be celebrated in such a way! I know it's hard, I had 32 or so moments listed down and it was a real struggle to get down to 10 especially as I wanted to cover a number of season themes. But it is doable and you will feel it is worth it once the run down begins! And you can't go wrong with this, there have been so many great moments this season.

Shout-out once again to @April for putting the time and effort into compiling this and producing a top 10 from our votes.

I really hope Molaro will finally give us a story where Sheldon meets Amy's mother in person. I'm sure they've met off screen but I'd love to actually see them interact. They skype call has been hilarious!

I don't think though that he'll ask for Amy's hand or some such old fashioned nonsense. First of all, you usually "ask for permission" before the proposal and evidently that train has left the station with 10x24. lol Secondly, Amy isn't that close with her mother anyway and who the hell knows what's up with her father - so it doesn't seem that appropriate, imho. 

Instead I'd rather have a scene where Sheldon and Amy tell her mother in person about their engagement and marriage plans which then could be hilarious depending on how Amy's mother reacts to the whole thing. I think there's a lot of potential for comedy here. I'm not sure how her mother would react cause she's such a blank page to me, so Idk... Will she love it? Will she hate it?? Could go either way.

Most of ones you listed are on mine too! I did not include the montage and proposal not because  I did not like it as I really loved the way it was done but because we did not get Amy's reaction yet about that. I believe it will be on my s11 top 10 though!

You are so right, there is no way really go wrong with this! I would also add the heartfelt shamy  talk in Sheldon's old room before they went to 4 B or the Comic con Sheldon seducing try, lol! You had 32 listed, I had 17 ( with other 6 out from the 17, hehe) . It was an epic task!

I might be out of step with the parade, but...I have no interest in meeting Amy's kin.  To fit with various plots, they've kind of screwed up the character of Amy's mother a couple of times.  I think they've written her into a corner out of which it would be difficult to get her.

And the show already has too many characters deserving of more screen time.

I'd just as soon they eloped off -screen.

Nevertheless I´m surprised that Sexy Sheldon hasn´t been mentioned yet when it comes to the Top 10.

Or maybe it´s just me because I love it, when Sheldon discovers his desirable, sexy side.

I know I have a dirty mind, but I can´t help myself.

I'm sure it will be on some top 10's lol. I was tempted to put the train dream sequence on mine but like with anything like this it can be difficult to pick and some other scenes simply resonate with you more.

I was kind of surprised how much brain stuff was on mine in a season full of displays of love and affection between them. But this has been a season where the brain has come back to prominence again when it comes to Shamy imo.

I must confess sexy Sheldon was in my first draft of my own chart but some other meaningful shamy moments had to get a place in top 10, hehe! But I would not mind a sexier shamy top for I include them, lol! Maybe later we have time, who knows?
