I´m glad I´m not alone.  I thought that because of all the great "mind" things, that the sexy Sheldon scenes would play a minor or no part in the Top 10 at all. As @April said, there's no wrong answer here, probably if I did my chart again from scratch I would have different moments listed in it, I must confess I've forgotten a few and the charts you guys posted made me regret some choices, LOL! Anyway, the die is cast, and this is just a fun way to celebrate this fantastic season! Whatever moment ends up in the final chart, it's the right one!

I was kind of surprised how much brain stuff was on mine in a season full of displays of love and affection between them. But this has been a season where the brain has come back to prominence again when it comes to Shamy imo.

Well, I don´t blame, if the train dream didn´t make it into your Top 10, because the Sheldon scene was more a fan service for us ladies! LOL

But Amy´s facial expressions were so great, especially the scene where wakes up and finds out she has been dreaming and Sheldon says that they will arrive in 3 hours time and she simply replies that she can make it in two and pushes the accelerator pedal, while Sheldon is pushed back into his seat.

I would have loved to see them actually rinding on the train. I´m sure on their way to the station Amy bought a dozen water bottles and offers Sheldon to drink them, while she throws the coles into fire, to increase the heat, so Sheldon starts to sweat and hopefully pours the water over his head. LOL

I can also see them having the following conversation:

Amy: Here have some water, babe.

Sheldon: But I already had three. We have a long way back and I´m afraid that my bladder won´t make it before we get home.

Amy: Don´t worry, we can make breaks whenever you need one. Oh babe, you are sweating let me help you pour some water over your head.

I mean you say.....when things get serious with another girl, Sheldon must back out ? And if things get serious with Amy and another guy,  even then Sheldon must take action? . In other words Sheldon must do all the work either way ? 

If it wasnt for Sheldon interrupting, Shamy wouldn't even be together today coz Amy may  have long moved on to Dave.

That´s right there are no right or bad choices, after all it´s a matter of personal tastes and opinions, which make things even more interesting and keep the discussion vivid and interesting. It would be boring if we all had the same preferences.

I´m happy, that they have changed Amy´s skirts and that she wears the denim skirts more often, because they suit her so good. I´m sure Sheldon told her that he liked them, so she decided to put them on more frequently.

Why do you think that?  I did not see Amy being sure she was moved on about Sheldon, I saw her in pain for he seemed to moved on about her, which was proved he did not either as Amy did not.

Besides there are couples who had a period of time separated as neither one of them tried to see other people or just one of them tried it. It is not an obligation to handle with a broken heart with a quick match for replace the former SO.

I am not getting into shamy breaking up subject as I have already said everything I thought about it and at this moment imo is time for celebrating how their relationship came along so far this season.  And Amy's  yes and shamy talk in s11 premiere is my  priorities in the part of my brain reserved for shamy thoughts. No offense but I can not discuss past sad shamy things that they had already moved on.

Ofcourse,  they both could have not dated anyone.

I just don't understand this "god forbid Sheldon be interested in another girl " attitude,  at a point when Amy herself was actively looking and interested in other guy.

 

I was responding to the original post that said, Sheldon must have backed out if the same situation occurred in season 9.

 if things get serious with another girl , we expect Sheldon to back out. If things get serious with Amy and another guy, we expect Sheldon to do something,  not Amy.  So in both cases, we require Sheldon to do all the work. I just didn't quite see even a whiff of logic and sense in the Shamy reconciliation. 

Anyway, you are correct, I don't wanna drag this either, but I wasn't the one who brought up the season 9 stuff.

I agree with you! Allready to many characters that need some more screen time. I would love if they came back from Princeton all ready married. I don't see them wanting a huge wedding. I think a nice flashback scene would be wonderful and enough for me...perhaps a celebration at home with the group.

I was answering @djsurrey's inquiry from the writer's point of view. If you want to discuss it from the character's point of view this would be a different argument.

But from the writers' perspective we know how they handled both Sheldon trying to date while he was single (half-hearted and even when a perfect candidate shows up he turns her down with a flimsy reason) and Sheldon getting chummy with Ramona (he backs out when things get too serious). That makes a strong case that the writers would handle the hypothetical scenario with Ramona showing up in S9 as a potential love interest in a similar manner. That is simply how they see the character. They had a hard enough time making him embrace his relationship with Amy - another woman entirely seems completely out of their comfort zone and Molaro said as much in a recent interview about the finale.

Similarly, they actually did make sure that Amy's dating experience didn't go too far. Sure, she was allowed to dip her toe into the metaphorical sea but even with Dave who seemed to be the best candidate for the most part there wasn't much going on beyond those two pecks we saw on screen. So I think there's a similar reluctance to let Amy stray too far from Sheldon even while she was single. They put a final stop to Amy's dating when Dave stole a kiss from her, and they put a final stop to Ramona's pursuit after she stole a kiss from Sheldon.

There is surely something to be said about the tendency to let Sheldon make these huge gestures. You wouldn't get an argument from me if you want Amy to do those, too. But again, the writers just really freaking love to put Sheldon in those moments. I think that was also something Molaro said recently.

So yeah, you gotta have to take up your grievances with the writers not me.

How about we talk about things we would like to see in season 11 for shamy while the Top 10 shamy favourites moments from  season  10 is submitted? 

My  wishes / hopes for s11 :

*Amy could say yes to Sheldon. I believe she will,  no matter if it will be in first scene of s11 premiere or in tag scene. I can not believe the writers will drag her answer beyond 11.01. For shamies 's sake, they shouldn't!

*Amy may have  her complete fellowship time at Princeton.  Sheldon could take a few days off from Caltech for spending time with his fiancée  ( love the word!) and getting to know better Princeton campus. After all he doesn't like much taking vacations out of a university, lol!

* Sheldon could spend a time alone as Amy is in Princeton.  It would be great for him and it is a situation I think it has potencial for some comedy too. Besides, we would get more shamy  Skype calls that I love so much!

* We could meet Amy's  family. I would love to see a talk between Sheldon and Amy's  mother, hehe! More potencial comedy and some shamy goodness ahead.

* Some wedding planning or shamy could  be already married when Amy go back to Pasadena. One of these options would work for me.

And these are on my mind at moment.

I agree with almost all your wishes...I obviously hope and think the engagement will be a sure thing for the end of 11.1. After that, I wouldn't mind Sheldon being back in Pasadena and shown to live by himself and Amy in Princeton succeeding in her fellowship. When Amy is back home, then it would be nice to know something more about her family, her father especially, since we don't know even if he is alive, en engagement might be a right way to introduce them. I don't necessarily need a whole season of wedding plans, I think Howardette's wedding was a good compromise on that respect, there were a few scenes here and there about that or their preparations were the excuse for hilarious plots involving other characters (like The Isolation Permutation). I wouldn't like that much, instead, if Shamy come back married from Princeton, but that's is just me, I hate flashback episodes and I imagine the writers would show on screen how they get married, so it should be a flashback kind of situation.

Tbh, although  I don't  mind flashbacks episodes, I dont believe much writers would do it about shamy wedding. Because most of audience want to see it at the moment of happening and they surely would please the best they could all fans.

When Shamy and Lenny were on the couch discussing where Amy and Sheldon should begin living together, the scene had leapt there from Sheldon at his desk seeing the other three grinning in the doorway, having missed out any conversation in which they told him about the leak in Amy's apartment and Penny's suggestion she move in to Leonard's old room. I suppose we were expected to imagine for ourselves how they'd broached the idea and his immediate reaction.

I'm wondering whether they'll do something like that in 11/01 so we'll be left to imagine Amy's answer to the proposal and find them on the couch or in her bed, discussing what they're going to do next or why he suddenly appeared out of the night with nothing but what he stood up in. She'll be wearing the ring. He'll be wearing nothing and his clothes will be in the washing machine.

I'm new to this forum and I would like to just say that this has been a massive year for as Penny called them "Pasadena's favourite power couple". I'm not entirely sure how Season 11 will premiere but I have a couple of ideas for how the season could premiere. The first idea I have is for the majority of the episode the rest of the gang go looking for Sheldon and we hear the answer to the proposal in the tag scene. My other idea is that we see the proposal and the gang contacts Amy over Skype to say that Sheldon has gone missing but she shouldn't worry. This could lead into Amy (with Sheldon next to her but not saying a word), trying to help everyone find Sheldon but also majorly hinting the she and Sheldon are engaged by pushing her glasses onto her face several times with her left hand before Bernadette or someone notices and asks her why she is doing that and she tells them everything.

These are just my rough ideas and this is my first time posting so don't go to hard on this or me.

Just one more thing. Is everyone excited about the Young Sheldon TV series? I personally think it could do well, and I read online somewhere that the show could begin in a How I Met Your Mother style with Sheldon talking to his kids about his childhood.

In one of his post finale interview, Molaro said he was not sure how the Season premiere will be, but probably people will feel robbed if they don't see Amy's answer. Personally, I would feel that way, especially with that "Ramona broad"-thing still pending somehow...

No 3 - agree some more complimentary moments from both of them, nothing huge, just as you suggested something like "beautiful " or Amy noticing Sheldons muscles !!!!
No 4 - some more working together or just doing something quirky together and loving it, getting turned on by it !
No 5 - seeing them supporting/helping their friends in some situation !
No 6 - wedding planning and or wedding ( or save the actual wedding for season 11)

The first idea I have is for the majority of the episode the rest of the gang go looking for Sheldon and we hear the answer to the proposal in the tag scene. My other idea is that we see the proposal and the gang contacts Amy over Skype to say that Sheldon has gone missing but she shouldn't worry. This could lead into Amy (with Sheldon next to her but not saying a word), trying to help everyone find Sheldon but also majorly hinting the she and Sheldon are engaged by pushing her glasses onto her face several times with her left hand before Bernadette or someone notices and asks her why she is doing that and she tells them everything.

These are just my rough ideas and this is my first time posting so don't go to hard on this or me.

Just one more thing. Is everyone excited about the Young Sheldon TV series? I personally think it could do well, and I read online somewhere that the show could begin in a How I Met Your Mother style with Sheldon talking to his kids about his childhood.

Welome to the forum! I hope you have fun here, the Shamy thread is a hoot and a half! 

As for Young Sheldon, as far as I know, Sheldon will narrate the story, but not to his kids as in HIMYM, at least in no interviews or article I've read about this show on reliable sources that was ever mentioned. TBH, when the project first came out,  I was not very excited about it, because it can create some troubles with the pre-existing canon and because in general spin-offs and prequels are very seldom successful. But the casting has intrigued me very much and I found the trailer interesting. Still not sure it will be a successful show, but very willing to give it a try!
