It was #5 on my list, it was such a momentous moment and just check the thread way back, some British poster from the UK who is male and 34 years old kept going on about proposals and the 'Shamy Trifecta' for the season (living together, more coitus and engagement). Perhaps he was a tad obsessed about the proposal lol.

However I've actually watched the episode a couple of times since submitting my list and actually I would have put it a lot lower in my personal top 10 now. Controversial I know but the more I watch the episode the more I dislike it. Coming round to the idea that I personally would have preferred a proposal in Season 11 and under different circumstances so 10.23 would have been their finale, sorry just the way I feel. Maybe if we get the resolution we want in Season 11 I may like it even more again?

But it is still a top moment/iconic for the season, clearly a lot of Shamies enjoyed it as well with it placing being so high. I have no complaints about its placing.

What did I like best about it? Probably the fact he traveled all that way on his own more than anything and he looked perfectly serene and calm doing so, there was no panic, no agitated or rushing like behaviour.

I know what you mean. 10.23 could have been shamy's season finale imo as well as it is far a better episode than 10.24. I wont repeat myself about my opinion about both episodes and why this moment was not in my chart as you all already know that.

The bold part of your post was also what I loved most about the scene :

Sheldon for love have been challenging himself about getting his bigger fears and phobias under control. 

For love Sheldon had been handling the best he can with changes.

All that travel was a sum of everything Amy meant to him and how she changed him for good. It was really inspiring to see Sheldon's  growth in s10 from his taking in living together with Amy to his decision of propose finaly to her. Can not wait for seeing their relationship into engagement level

It would have been lower on my list, as well. 

Why?  Because 'making it legal' comes naturally to a man obsessed with contracts.  Living together, sex and first kiss were, in my book, FAR bigger steps for him than this one.  But, like you, I like the fact that he went cross country all by himself and looked so at ease doing so.

This was my top pick I chose this episode, this scene for a couple of different reasons. 

My main reason is because Sheldon flew across country, ring in hand to propose to Amy. I love that he was so calm and determined. He did not go into one of his classic meltdowns. He calmly did what he had to do. Some people are not fans of this proposal because they did not deem it romantic or grand enough. For me though, I think it perfectly fit with his character. Flying across country to ask Amy to marry him, to step way out of his comfort zone like that was romantic in itself. Secondly,  I loved the look on his face, so sweet and loving when he asked the question. I loved that he was on bended knee. It was a simple and straight from the heart proposal. Very Sheldon like. I loved it.

Buridan's Donkey scene was awesome in so many ways:

• Her not pressuring him.
• Talking about smart stuff.
• Each taking the conversation to another level.
• Only circumstance I can remember where I actually like eggplant.

Wow I am kind of shocked one of these isn't no.1. I had both of these in my top 2, with the MRI #1 and Buridan's #2 though it was more like 1a and 1b.

Buridan's was my #2 and what can I say it is just pure genius on all levels. The acting and writing was brilliant and perfectly captured Shamy's relationship and the allure the brain has in their relationship. You won't find many better written and executed scenes in the entire series.

MRI was my #1 and that should be no surprise considering it's my signature on the forum lol. It was the perfect gift to give his girlfriend considering her profession and again like in Buridan's how the brain plays such a huge role in their relationship. Amy absolutely loves it and it now takes pride of place next to their bed which is great to see.

Truly fascinated to see which made the top moment.

These two are definitely in my top 3. Loved Buridan's Donkey....no pressure from Amy whatsoever and he just casually walked into the apartment and that was that. No more talking no more deciding.

And who couldn't love the MRI gift as well as the annual birthday booty spectacular.

I have a feeling I know what number 1 is and I hope I am right. I guess I will find out tomorrow.

Both moments had to be included in my chart! Love them so much!! 

Ties could not be better  as these the Shamy Top 10 from S 10 got! More than 10 moments for we gush over! I have a feeling I know which one is #1, hehe. Unless there is another tie for our delight!

What can I say about these two shamy masterpieces?

The Buridan's Donkey was my #1 favourite for a while (until one moment from ep 23 that was equally fabulous as the Donkey's was) as it really showed so well shamy is the perfect intellectual match. I just loved how Amy knows Sheldon so well as trusted him to choose the right decision without any pressure that could be bad to him as she used logic to prove him he would know what he wanted for best. Sheldon for other hand had not any doubt about what he should choose for his life as he realized Amy was and always be who stimulates him intellectually and how she is his perfect match to share a life with as for him in a relationship it is as much important as is his unconditional love for her as she understands him and loved him just like he is, like him about her. It was really a beautiful and insightful scene about everything Shamy means to each other.

About the MRI gif moment, everything was just perfect as well! Sheldon waiting for midnight for show his love and caring for Amy , the MRI gift ( he used to not like to give presents and he changed it with Amy and for Amy) was the perfect proof how much he loves her. I mostly loved how eager Sheldon was to share with Amy something he did for her and especially how he was eager for be physical again with her. The heartfelt kiss Amy gave Sheldon was one of my favourite of the season, they were really holding so much passion for making love again. And last but not least the interruptions were funny and very meaningful as by the end of the day, despite the lack of sleep and the tiredness of such day filled of emotions, Sheldon was still eager to make love to his girl. Season 10, you hold so much shamy goodness! <3

Btw, I am looking foward to #1 tomorrow!

10x23 Quality luggage and frenzied lovemaking!

If 10x23 were to be Shamy's S10 finale this scene would certainly be one of the reasons why it it'd make for such a satisfying conclusion. Through the whole episode we see the culmination of Shamy's growth this season.

In this particular scene you get Sheldon being the one supporting Amy by letting her go and throwing in some quality luggage for good measure.

But of course the one thing we've all been waiting for all season long was when and how the writers would finally get over themselves and get rid of that annual birthday sex joke. Especially since they've been just as physical and intimate with each other as (if not more so than) in all prior seasons combined. It was only a question of time and it finally happened! Hooray!!

So, the frenzied lovemaking made it!!! Thanks again @April for having organized our "tournament", it was so fun!!!

That was not my #1, but it is such a meaningful scene for Shamy. It was, IMO, the final step Sheldon had to take to be fully committed to Amy. He is selfish by nature, he really can't help it, but (with Leonard's help) he realized that on this occasion the right choice was to fully support Amy. And he did it in the most Sheldon and sweet way ever!

Plus, this scene meant the end of the "once a year" deal, which was really nice for me. I really can't understand to these days why the writers stuck with this joke, there are so many throw away lines in the show, but they felt the need to be so "faithful" to this one...it'a a wonder! My main problem with this was, not really how many times Shamy had sex, but the fact that sticking to a particular day of the year (which also happen to be so close to the mid-season finale) might have limited their creativity at some point. 10.11 was a tender episode, but i still can't forgive the writers fro the elephant-like pregnancy*. I'm really glad it is gone!

* Full disclosure, in the S. 10 tournament, I've voted for 10.8 against 10.11 exactly for this reason, LOL!

I am so glad for such excelent S 10 Shamy Top 10 shippers choices! Thanks so much @April for organizing this, it was so fun and a great way of revising such wonderful season for shamy altogether with my shamy fellows! ❤

 With the risk of repeating some of your thoughts, the luggage quality/ frenzied lovemaking was imo perfection, it was in my case a dream which came true as one of the things I most wanted for shamy was the day we would see Sheldon doing something for Amy even it was not a thing he wanted or wished for but for her he would make uncondionately the effort. I loved that was Leonard who helped someway Sheldon to realize he could do it for Amy as it was a unique opportunity for her carreer as it would make her happy. I just loved as Sheldon giving presents to Amy is now a regular thing  as he realized a gift can be also a way to show he cares and many times have nothing with the price of it but with the meaning of it to the person who receives.

Other thing I mosted wanted as any shamy fan was the end of the "sex once in a year" and it could not end in better way. Sheldon finaly realizing that the act of lovemaking between two persons who love each other is something that naturally would become spontaneous because it is a way to show love for the other. Among many others things he realized that dont need a schedule to follow, sex also doesnt need a day marked in a calendar and should be done as long both want and wish it.

And last but not least, the way shamy looked at each other as they decided both want making love: the perfect mixing of shy / bold feelings . That hand-holding and the way that bedroom door was closed was so lovely and sexy. I must confess I had to restrain a loud squee  as I watched it for the first time!

And now what? May we speak about the shamy s10 sexy moments top?

Ps: almost forgot something! Shamy sex can be loud, lol! Would you ever imagined that? I did not, lol! Loved so much as lenny could earsdropped them as many times Sheldon heard them, hehe! I hope indeed s11 can offer us so much shamy goodness as s10 offered!
