Agree so much with you about the writters surprising us, Sheldon letting Amy choose the side of the bed, the fact he seems to be confortable of having coitus again as Amy  wants to... Sheldon has been loosing his "robot" side and he is getting to be "humanize" for the love for his Amy. That is character growth and it has been happening so well so far, even some things writters keep teasing us.

But uncertain things are the best for our speculations and in the end  we get so happy when we find some of them were right after all.

The hippy thing..., I know, hehe! I have to say I am of romantic type, cant help myself of grinning like a fool as shamy take steps foward in romance field

That pilow between them ...I can sense some fanfic writters brains working hardly on that detail since the tapping report was shared by our dear @NotWonderland!

Have I said this episode tapping report makes me so happy?

The bed scene there is no pillow between them, sheldon wants one but amy doesnt. Amy is under the blankets and sheldon is kind of on top of them on his back sleep talking/ laughing (something about helping feinmen) the first scene, next he has his mouth open making a weird noise, he rolls his head over right in front of amys face and she closes his mouth. Then they are spooning sheldon is almost diagonal on the bed and amy is awkwardly behind him with her arm around him, she wakes up cause he keeps jumping around, smiles and kinda moves her arm a bit and he starts jumping worse until she falls off the bed. Next morning when she tells him she didn't sleep he said i don't know how you had the whole floor.

Five weeks in show time does not necessarily mean five episodes.   9.23, 9.24, and 10.01 were within a week of each other.  And Bernadette went from no baby bump to a baby bump, between two episodes.  

However, five episodes would put the end of the "experiment" on November 10, which would be in the middle of sweeps.   The last sweeps episode would be on the 17th.

Haha thats ok im still very Hyper too so wasn't sure if my posts were even making sense, ive probably got some of the details wrong but the main plot is there

Where to start? Well, first of all:

Can't wait to see the episode! It sounds so great for so many reasons. One of them being: It made Shamys and Lennys happy!

I was truly suprised that Sheldon and Amy ended up in 4b, didn't expect that at all. But the more I think about it, the more I like it. Sheldon breaking out of his beloved routine - just for the sake of being on 'neutral territory', of course... Yeah, sure. All in the name of science. Sheldon and his white lies again. 

And of course coitus is off the table. Amy's idea to reassure Sheldon. Mhmm - I hope he wasn't too dissappointed.

The scenes in the bedroom sound hilarious! Really when you are used to Sheldon sleeping like a mummy without moving at all, this sounds as if he really was on an emotional roller coaster (Space Mountain) that night! And apparently he liked it, since he was talking and laughing in his sleep. And he wants to continue the 'experiment' after Amy has her doubts. I really love that! They are both being their quirky selfs and still: Everything has changed. Wonderful! This has so much comedic potential!

And I really, really loved Penny's comment at the end: "The new neighbours are weird." LMAO! She nailed it!!

Yes I know exactly what you mean. I was at the last taping, and it is really hard to remember all the details!  But you did a fantastic job. So glad you got to see a special Shamy episode and had fun!!!

Yes I figured, what I meant was even if there's no time-jump the experiment should be over before Amy's birthday because five weeks is still far away from December 17th. I guess if I had counted from October and not December it would have been more clear but I tend to do things backwards so...

So probably a odd question but the staircase in the hallway set doesnt go anywhere right its just blocked off top and bottom? Cause at one stage i swear Mayim just appeared at the top of the stairs and i nearly fell off my seat im like how did she get there hahaha

Yeah, the staircases stop once they get around the elevator.  Both up and down.  I would guess that Mayim snuck up there when you weren't looking.

Can you hear my excited squeals from reading the spoilers and everyone's take / predictions on how this latest episode taping will play out?   I have not been this hyped up about Shamy since the FWF Valentine's day episode.   

As usual, the writers are unpredictable and throw out all the stops in a manner no one expects with these two.    For years, we had Amy wanting to live with Sheldon, with him resisting and insisting he will always be with Leonard.   They break up.   Sheldon finally concedes that Amy would make the ideal roommate.   Amy declines, and Sheldon is heartbroken; reverting back to his 2003 lifestyle where he enjoyed being alone, consumed by the belief that his friends will move on with their lives without him and the love of his life lost forever to eventually marry someone better.  He enthusiastically accepts Penny's suggestion to maintain status quo, and not only keeps Leonard, but inherits Penny as a roommate as well.

It would have been enough for Sheldon to agree to have Amy stay in Leonard's old room in Apt 4A, with only a slight change to status quo, on his terms, without the need to share a room, let alone a bed.   That is what I would have expected.  

Shocker of all shocks, they both end up in 4B, sharing a bed; not Sheldon's or Amy's bed, but Penny's bed which has seen quite a bit of action.  

Amy is nervous about living with someone else, especially her boyfriend.   Sheldon seems to be quite relaxed with the whole idea.   Amy and not Sheldon is suggesting taking coitus off the table.   After one night, Amy wants to give up on the experiment.   Sheldon is talking her into keeping it going.     My how the roles have reversed!

At first, a small part of me wondered if Amy's resistance and taking coitus off the table was a manipulative backwards psychological ploy to get what she really wants from Sheldon, but I got to thinking again about The Opening Night Excitation.    She has waited for years to take these major steps/milestones with Sheldon, but now that she has come face-to-face with what she has always wanted from Sheldon, she is nervous and needs his encouragement to see it through.   I love how he is stepping up for the role of supporting her instead of the other way around!  I love how he is putting himself on equal ground by suggesting the experiment be performed in a neutral area, where neither can claim their own territory or turf.

For me, I think seeing the battle for bed space and sleep will be more satisfying than the coitus, as I was left disappointed there was no cuddle after the former.  I'm looking forward to seeing Shamy tackle normal things couples argue over when getting to know each others' intimate habits, sleep patterns, etc. and then working through them in their own quirky way.   I love that they've figured out that making out is the best way to make up after a disagreement.  Oh, the feels!!!

As far as the future, I think it would be nice for Shamy to settle alone into 4A.   Replace Sheldon's bed, which is way too short for him, with Amy's bed.   I'd love for the others to cringe and or look at each other oddly by observing Shamy in all their quirkiness trying to figure it all out.  I think there is a lot of comedy to be had in this area.  I cannot wait.

The staircase, downstairs it leads to nowhere. It just stops.

And heading upstairs leads you to walkways they have above the sets. The cast can use these walkways to get to their dressing rooms and also used by the sound crew who hold Mics above the sets while filming.

Sheldon makes a comment about this, when they are saying goodbye in the hallway Leonard says something like go where no man has gone before and sheldon replies with its pennys bed plenty of men have been there before. And he makes a comment about her memory foam mattress when hes in bed with amy later on

I love all the additional details!   Thank you so much for the TR and for giving us so much information to be excited about.   The boards have come alive again with members who were gone and have now returned.   Anyone who has a doubt about Shamy's pull on the audience should come visit this board, and see for themselves.

I think it goes hand in hand with them showing Sheldon sleeping in a more relaxed manner last time we saw that. He isn't sleeping like a mummy for quite some time now.

And I love that even though he's moving around a lot (roller coaster indeed!) he seemed to have a good night's sleep, so much so that he's practically dragging Amy back to 4B and Penny's sex bed for the next 5 weeks - FOR SCIENCE! (naturally) LMAO

Yeah, I'm really enjoying the writers sticking to that dynamic as well. I've always thought that Amy might have a few difficulties with adjusting to living with someone, yet alone her boyfriend. So her admitting that in the light of it becoming reality (even if just temporarily) is lovely. And as said, I love it when they are just honest with each other and talk these things through. <3

Sheldon slowly getting so hot and bothered that he puts coitus back on the table.
Shamy playing games and having fun with each other.
Sheldon seeing that Amy is a much better roommate than Leonard.
Shamy developing their own routines and finding they work better 
Sheldon pining after Amy once she's gone back home and wanting her back

Things I don't want
Them to make this a one episode thing then next week is five weeks later ... The only thing I don't want... Anything else bring it on!

Yeah I thought that would be the case as well with Amy having lived alone for quite a while. It's not the same with Sheldon who has had company over these years.

It does sound like in this episode the communication between them is on point with Amy discussing the bed station whilst he is packing, putting a hold on any coitus for now, and them talking through the experiment itself and wanting to keep it going.

The communication problems in the past were not just with Sheldon not talking it through with Amy but Amy herself was at fault at times like she said in the Line Substitution. Great to see them being open and honest about any fears or concerns they have which is tremendous growth for their relationship.
