[Spoilers] Lenny:Season 10

I would like to see them doing some sport activities or something adventurous mixed with danger.

Imagine Lenny jogging. Penny all ambitious and full of energy, telling Leonard to speed up a bit, while Leonard walks miles behind her in one hand his water bottle and in the other his asthma inhaler, gasping "I run as fast as I can", while a toddler stumbles slowly past him.

Or Lenny go sky diving. Leonard is terrified first, but when he finally gets back on earth, he is so full of adrenaline, that he graps Penny and kisses her passionately, while he undresses himself rapidly.

Lol. I would like to see that but we all know how that would end. Leonard in ER due to some unforeseen injury. Clumsy Leonard. But it would be funny.

Lol that´s true. It´s a wonder that he survives in this jungle, called outside.

With his skin as soft as veal, he might get cut by the air or get attacked by a bird that crosses his path on his way down to earth. And as clumsy and unlucky as he is sometimes, it would be a big bird like an eagle, or even a vulture that just escaped from a nearby zoo.

Lol that´s true. It´s a wonder that he survives in this jungle, called outside.

With his skin as soft as veal, he might get cut by the air or get attacked by a bird that crosses his path on his way down to earth. And as clumsy and unlucky as he is sometimes, it would be a big bird like an eagle, or even a vulture that just escaped from a nearby zoo.

 

 

You know I love clumsy Leonard. The way he manages to injure himself is hilarious. I mean who hurts themselves playing a skiing game on the wii board. Lol. I have always wished tptb would have a long running arc about his clumsiness and once in a while we get Lenny in ER on full name terms with the staff while Penny tries to make excuses for how Leonard hurt himself. Now they are married it will be something like "Mr & Mrs Hofstadter what is the emergency this time" and Penny could cut in. A bird flew in to his path. As she looks away and Leonard looking embarrassed to be attacked by a bird.

The nurse looking at her supiciously and trying not to laugh. "What type of bird."

"It was a really big bird. I don't know I didn't see it." The nurse takes a look at the cut and says something like.

"You sure it's wasn't a small garden bird"

Tenuous link but I'm gonna say it anyway.

I want Lenny the couple and Lenny the shippers to stay as happy as I am right now after watching my Bulldogs finally get to a Grand Final for the first time in 55 years - before I was born!

Penny: Hello Hal. Yeah will you sew him?

Hal: Of course.

Leonard: Sorry Hal, but I prefer Linda. She dominates the.......(says the name of his favourite sew technique) better than you. And she always smells like vanilla.

Penny (slaps his arm): Hey, don´t poke your nose into other doctor´s gown.

I guess after 1000 of visits at the ER, they would be known by every doctor and called by their surnames. For me somehow Leonard is like Tim Taylor, when it comes to daily routine accidents.

Haha.I like it. Funny.Sew him up and poking his nose at her gown.lol. But slapping his arm softly might bruise his veal skin two injuries poor leonard.which he deserved by the way. He should be sniffing Penny's coconut scented hair. my on going fanfic has a lot of references to Leonard ending up in ER. Lol.

What you describe is Home Improvement. Tim Taylor is also on first name basis with the ER staff and even has his own coffee cup there ^^

It is better to be doin' it with Penny in the lab, than with the Lisatronic 3000. With Penny you don't need an extension cord.

There's been talk of Leonard's neuroses in other threads and I need to say that I think Leonard has made great strides since S 1 and the wedding picture with him hugging his father brought this to mind. He hasn't been harping and wining much about his horrible childhood lately, maybe since his brief visit with the psychiatrist. I think he's somewhat come to terms with Beverly and Alfred and looks more to the present and future than to the past any more. I would love more Leonard and Alfred, but don't expect it so I'll just imagine there was a talk between father and son, an admission from Alfred that he was absent a lot because he couldn't deal with Beverly, and an acknowledgement of the regret  he feels for not being there for Leonard. And I think that would mean the world to Leonard. I see him as a pretty forgiving guy and he shows genuine affection for his father. As for Bev, Leonard seems to be more resigned than bothered anymore, like an "it is what it is" attitude. And , in spite of the bizarre, damaging way she raised him, he shows her respect because she's his mother. 

So I think the next step to mental health for Leonard (and Penny) will be the separation from Sheldon. Leonard, the caretaker, enabler, people-pleaser is pretty damn fed up with Sheldon and their 9 years together. Thus, his frequent snarkiness toward him and happy underwear dance when he moves out. So, I guess the biggest hope for this new season is that the cohabitation experiment is successful, the cord is cut, the wound is cauterized and the couples remain friends but not room mates. 

You can do this Leonard. As Nograv said in Discussion he fought a giant for Penny! He can do this!!!
